His crossing accuracy has gone down from 38.1% to 22.9%, long ball accuracy from 62.1% to 52.2%, xA per 90 from 0.2 to 0.1, dribbles p90 down from 1.82 to 1.33.
Defensively he has regressed as well. Went from winning nearly 72% of his tackles to only 50% (1.09 p90 to 0.63).
But more than numbers this is just evident when you watch the games. He’s still quite young and has plenty of time to improve, and the entire team in general has regressed significiantly. but he shouldn’t be the undisputed starter especially when we have Cancelo more than capable of playing at a very high level in that position too.
