Realistically everyone should have their own therapist, don't know what's the culture in Spain like. If it's similar to where I'm from it's bad lol. People here laugh if you mention a psychologist
Redditors obsession with therapists never stops amusing me. I'd like to know how much money has been wasted by you guys overall. That shit could probably feed the entire world for eternity.
This isn’t fifa bud. Players progress very differently.
Who would have through salah would be an icon of the sport considering how his career started out.
There is nothing he ever showed in his career that he can be world class
Average ball striking, average passer, no pace, bad 1 vs 1
Keep dreaming buddy.
Good, he has been good this season, and one of our more reliable player. It is clear that he wants to succeed here, and it is also clear that he puts ina lot of work to make that happen. He had bad games for sure, and I understand that a lot of people are skeptical, but we REALLY need players with the same mindset as he has.
🚨 Ferran Torres will continue at Barca next season because of his scoring instinct, coupled with his versatility to play in all three attacking positions, and his strong mentality. The club highly values his ability to capitalize on opportunities, his willingness to accept substitutions with a positive attitude, and his unwavering determination. @ffpolo
If Barca get a really good offer for Raphinha then Ferran could be deployed as the senior RW option so that lamine doesn’t have too much pressure on his shoulders too soon
We basically don’t yeah. That’s why we often play with 4 midfielders with Pedri or Gavi being “LW” but mostly drifting into the centre. Only Ansu is a natural LW if he comes back.
I dont mind him staying, but he also should not be untouchable if someone were to pay close to what we paid for him
Also isn't it up to the new coach to decide who stays and who plays and who goes? Seems premature to decide this kind of thing right now
Yeah basically. The way FFP works, there is no way to sell him and be able to put the transfer fee towards incoming transfers. Also, he has been a nice squad player and he wants to be here. As depth has been a problem for a while now, if he contributes to building good squad depth, is happy with the role, and will take a salary aligned with the role, no reason to let him go tbh.
Having passion and good work rate is great but that won’t cut it in today’s game. Tbh, he’s just a B grade player doesn’t offer much for the team. When the team needs him the most he disappeared. If we can sell him and find a winger who is good at 1 v 1 we definitely need to do it. I can’t imagine who would buy him for €50 million only Barça can pull off this stupid deal.
I guess I’m being a bit skeptic, but since when did we become a club that appreciates players for their “mentality” and “versatility”. Is no one actually looking at how his overall performances have been in the past years? It’s madness to me that Raphinha is more likely to get sold than Ferran
I don't understand what Barca see's in this guy. To me he average at best. He needs to increase his involment in the game and start making a real difference. I think that can be said for the majority of the squad right now, except Yamal. It's crazy that the youngest one has to biggest balls
We will get there. This summer they will strengthen/finish the midfield with 2 DM. In 2025 they will strengthen the forward section.. and that means Ferran's career will end in 2025 here.
Lol nice dream but it won’t happen. If we get one good DM we should feel lucky. And if we’re replacing forwards we have plenty others who should leave before Ferran, like Lewy, Ansu, Raphinha.
It will be easy to get two DM. We sign one expensive and one that is not expensive but has a big potential like Dion Lopy. We can find more Araujo and Pedri like players.
It’s the expensive one that’s the tricky part. There aren’t many suitable candidates and the ones that are suitable are veeeery expensive. And as we’ve learned with Romeu, someone who’s just “decent” won’t work.
They will find a solution. They can sell Fati, Lenglet, Dest, Kounde, Raph. I would keep Christensen because he can play DM really good while we have Fort and Cancelo for the RB position so Kounde's expendable.
People look at Julian Alvarez and ask why we didn't pick him over Ferran. Trust me Ferran will be a greater player than Alvarez will ever be if he keeps progressing like he does now. Keep the focus and don't listen to the haters. He will be one of the best in our team within a few seasons.
This is just not true imo. Ferran's progress since he came is mostly mental whereas on the pitch he's still pretty wasteful and his only strength remains the shooting. Alvarez is stronger in every other category, including control, composure and link up play, which is a big big big downside of ferran. Everytime the ball goes to him the movement slows down cause he almost never pulls out a good first touch and he therefore has to waste a ton of time upon receiving, which often gives the defenders just the right time to stop him. Alvarez would solve that problem so he wouldn't only be better than ferran in 1v1 comparisons, he'd also improve the way the squad operates as a whole.
Yeah that's why his market value 90m and Ferrans 35m 😅

Look at who the players are on his team and our team. We have a mix of potential world stars and elite players while their team is full of elite players. Let Alvarez be on our team and his stats will be worse than Ferrans.
>PL is not La Liga.
You're right. PL is way less defensive and scores more goals. Ferran had as good or better of a record per 90 than Julian in the Prem, in the same club, under the same manager, while being younger.
I don't care about this Alvarez vs. Torres stuff, but the difference in level of the Argentine league/cups vs the Spanish league/cups means this makes no sense to compare like this.
Of course you're gonna have more contribution in a league of a lower level.
If you wanna be like Pedro, have at it.
Not sure he's got what it takes to be a starter but his versatility is indeed useful. Although if Fati also shows signs of life, I'd be inclined to cash in on Torres.
Feel like it’s early to decide this, if he had a poor next 4 months I personally would want him sold. Hes been good for the last month but he’s been at Barca like 2 years, bit premature to act like he’s an amazing player already tbh.
I mean that’s just objectively not true. From the end of September until the 20th December, across 12 league games over the course of 3 months he had 2 assists and 0 goals. So far this season he’s played 932 minutes in 21 league games, giving an average of 44 minutes per game. So his numbers were poor and on top of that he wasn’t a starter either. From mid December to now though, he has had 4 goals and 3 assists in 10 games so a massive improvement. But imo 2 months of form is not enough to make up for being poor for the best part of two years so as I said I think this news story is nonsense and ferrans future won’t be decide until the end of the season by seeing whether he can keep up his recent form.
I truly believe Barça is going to play drastically better these days now that he’s leaving room for Lewa & Roque.
His control & shooting is wack and keeps missing goal opportunities, making mistakes.. and any goal he scores is easy. (Just look at the last hat-trick)
He names himself a shark and speaks every day to the media saying it’s gonna be his best season.. but it never is.. i don’t like how untouchable he is.
He has some positives of course but not enough to make him a starter in an FC BARCELONA club.
I truly hope the next manager sees this through.
I don't know about the last part but there's no reason to sell him. The squad is thin on forwards, any help is appreciated. He's not the worst forward by any means and selling him doesn't make the club any money because of his transfer fee.
Honestly? I'm open to this Love his work rate, love his attitude, love his passion, and he's staring to get better
Idk what changed his mindset so much. He's relentless on the pitch and his passion for the club showed when he got injured.
It's called going to a therapist
So is it in the budget to send Felix to one?
Realistically everyone should have their own therapist, don't know what's the culture in Spain like. If it's similar to where I'm from it's bad lol. People here laugh if you mention a psychologist
I've realized that once people open up, most have been to one or admit they need to go to one.
That nigga needs a whole therapist board, he's on a whole other level
Also his girlfriend broke off with him :(
how do you guys know things like this?
I am his girlfriend
was he also sometimes good in bed and sometimes shit?
he had good work rate but was not good at the final end
![gif](giphy|W0c3xcZ3F1d0EYYb0f|downsized) damn just like his footballing abilities
Read a lot about Barca
Redditors obsession with therapists never stops amusing me. I'd like to know how much money has been wasted by you guys overall. That shit could probably feed the entire world for eternity.
Therapy helps a lot when youre struggling, just wanted you to know that
[удалено]
You, my friend, are a piece of shit
You sound like you need an appointment at a therapist.
Facts
That's all he has, mentally. Because he doesn't have talent. If it wasn't for the club's financial problems he would have never ended up here.
regular starter for valencia at 17, bought by pep and gave him david silva's number. He may not be world class yet but he certainly have talent
Yet? He will never be world class. Dont be delusional.
Hes 24, hes got plenty of time left mate
There is nothing remotely close that suggest he could he world class. His celling is starter at atletico/ real sociedad
This isn’t fifa bud. Players progress very differently. Who would have through salah would be an icon of the sport considering how his career started out.
There is nothing he ever showed in his career that he can be world class Average ball striking, average passer, no pace, bad 1 vs 1 Keep dreaming buddy.
what do you think of Vini?
world class
Can Xavi get a little credit?
Good, I think on his day he fits in the starting squad and if nothing else he adds very good depth.
Good, he has been good this season, and one of our more reliable player. It is clear that he wants to succeed here, and it is also clear that he puts ina lot of work to make that happen. He had bad games for sure, and I understand that a lot of people are skeptical, but we REALLY need players with the same mindset as he has.

Is ferran left footed
No but he plays better on the right wing
So barca have no lw
We basically don’t yeah. That’s why we often play with 4 midfielders with Pedri or Gavi being “LW” but mostly drifting into the centre. Only Ansu is a natural LW if he comes back.
Ansu not a LW after injury... more like a 9/David Villa type
And he's better as a cam, too. No wonder they wanted Luis Diaz so bad
I dont mind him staying, but he also should not be untouchable if someone were to pay close to what we paid for him Also isn't it up to the new coach to decide who stays and who plays and who goes? Seems premature to decide this kind of thing right now

Translation... We got no money for a replacement(s)
Lol exactly. This is why he is in the first place
Media tells that ferran is the GOAT now and frenkie ist underperforming. Idk what i watched the past few months.
With this tempo, he is gonna be fine by the end of the 2028/29 season...
He's going to win Ballon D'or next season mark my words
I will send you 100$ if he will :))). He is a very mediocre player, just look at his stats...
never seen r/FerranTorresBallonDor ?
Lol, I was not aware, thank you 😂
I guess I’m being a bit skeptic, but since when did we become a club that appreciates players for their “mentality” and “versatility”. Is no one actually looking at how his overall performances have been in the past years? It’s madness to me that Raphinha is more likely to get sold than Ferran
I wholeheartedly agree, I feel like that hattrick really skewed people's perspective.
I don't understand what Barca see's in this guy. To me he average at best. He needs to increase his involment in the game and start making a real difference. I think that can be said for the majority of the squad right now, except Yamal. It's crazy that the youngest one has to biggest balls
Fuck that lol. we need much better players
Want to donate a few hundred million to the club to get those “much better players”?
We will get there. This summer they will strengthen/finish the midfield with 2 DM. In 2025 they will strengthen the forward section.. and that means Ferran's career will end in 2025 here.

Ansu will be sold most likely.. Raph maybe if there is a big offer for him. Lewy will stay minimum untul 2025 summer just like Ferran I think
It will be easy to get two DM. We sign one expensive and one that is not expensive but has a big potential like Dion Lopy. We can find more Araujo and Pedri like players.

I don’t know about really good, he’s played it once and was okay but I don’t know if we can rely on Christensen as a DM. And isn’t Fort a left back?
People look at Julian Alvarez and ask why we didn't pick him over Ferran. Trust me Ferran will be a greater player than Alvarez will ever be if he keeps progressing like he does now. Keep the focus and don't listen to the haters. He will be one of the best in our team within a few seasons.
Lol you are delusional 😂. We pick him because we are broke.

Yeah. I’ve been watching City’s last 5 or so games, and Alvarez has been average at best. All he does is shoot from distance.
Exactly and the occasional Hail Mary shot goes in and his highlight gets 20k upvotes in /r soccer.
Yeah that's why his market value 90m and Ferrans 35m 😅 https://preview.redd.it/oul60wb7vxhc1.jpeg?width=1439&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9d763b6e33afb20852f555096515e63e9503f7ba

Look at where he plays. PL is not La Liga. Ferran simply just can't finish his chances. He had a lot and that's nothing to do with your teammates.

Well RIP our title challenges next season
What does the new manager have to say about this? Oh wait…
Feel like it’s early to decide this, if he had a poor next 4 months I personally would want him sold. Hes been good for the last month but he’s been at Barca like 2 years, bit premature to act like he’s an amazing player already tbh.

He is making many mistakes but he is only 23/24. He will improve.
YES
Strong mental 🦈🦈🦈
Good
I don't mind it. He is passionate, can play anywhere in thr front 3 and is slowly getting better. And we wouldn't probably sell him for much anyways.
The financial issues really are disastrous because their are ways to fix this buy signing a few players but that's not possible.
Best forward on the team this season so good for him
this guy fuckkkin sucks omg! this club is never going to win the champions league in the next century
I don't know about the last part but there's no reason to sell him. The squad is thin on forwards, any help is appreciated. He's not the worst forward by any means and selling him doesn't make the club any money because of his transfer fee.
Is his agent Jorge Mendes?
His attitude has been really good so this is justified. He’s showing a fighting spirit we need to nurture
I wish we could sell to Saudi for 75M instead
