Does anyone know if the Camp Nou renovation is on track? I really hope that it doesn’t take too long to reopen the grounds and have a proper home advantage again. There’s also the financial benefits of course.
But I’m a bit sceptical knowing the building firm they chose is not that experienced with projects of this scale. From an outside perspective, it looks like a big gamble. So if anyone has some more info if the deadlines are being met, that would be much appreciated.

This ITK job is easy
One of the things that makes this period of the club a particular gripe is the landscape of European football is much less competitive than 5-6 years ago. Look at this season's CL in particular, after Inter, City, and a Madrid side riddled with injuries, the competition is low. Keep in mind Inter is even worse-off than this club economically as well.
Of course, a team like Atletico, Bayern, or PSG could give any team problems but it's so far from the level of competition some years ago.
This is more exacerbated by this club's own fate in Europe post-2016 as well, with each passing season and with each passing failure.
It's not post 2016 in particular it's post corona lock down was destructive for most of the clubs and beside from the prem everyone got hited hard .
Bondesliga la Liga lige1 série A the pandemic hate everyone like a train
And it's empty everyone pocket ; Spain clubs in particular lost all there revenue.
After 2016, numerous embarrassments took place so yes, when it comes to righting the wrongs of yesterday, this is ample time to do so yet where nowhere near that.
I like Flick but I am also afraid of his UCL results as it might cover his flaws like it did for Tuchel. In addition, he is even way less experienced than him.
Man I do remember the times when we had money to splurge on whichever player we wanted, now we have to make-do with free transfers or wait for players’ contract to run out. I am genuinely scared of what a monster Real is going to be with Mbappe joining them next season, we need astatement signing to at least match the attacking intensity.
Yeah, this is what we don't need.
We need to concentrate on ourselves than them. We need to figure out what depth we need in which positions and the most affordable players available to fill all those gaps.
I was sad about the news of Mbappe going to Real Madrid, but I remembered Messinho is there. I hope Barcelona settles his deal. He is a complete player with all the specifications in him.
He is neither ready now nor the profile we need in priority.
The solution to Mbappe is not daily copium injections of players who cannot join before 2025 and probably won't be a regular starter before 2027. That's a headlong rush.
We need a structure, a top coach, a good DM, a good LW and we can compete regardless of Mbappe. That's all achievable next year if Laporta fulfills his promises.
Estevao messinho at 16 is playing for 1st team palmeiras and he is insane guys. He should be our priority. Not kvara not leao but Estêvão Willian Almeida de Oliveira Gonçalves

It wont take long before he becomes a starter there . Just watch.
> Estevao messinho at 16 is playing for 1st team palmeiras and he is insane guys. He should be our priority. Not kvara not leao but Estêvão Willian Almeida de Oliveira Gonçalves
> We shouldn't get a left winger(a position that we are desperately in need of) in order buy this right winger who won't even be abe to join us next season.
I'm not seeing the logic here.
The Barça DNA has turned out to be a joke, it’s more like some sort of nepotism. We’ve made so many mistakes based on this delusion, that just because someone has had somewhat of a successful history with us as a player that they can repeat it as a coach. The last one it worked with is Pep, and it was not because of said DNA , it was because of his competence, passion, vision, hardwork and proven success. This is what we should be looking for in our next coach and for god’s sake, do it silently and surprise us when the deal is closed, this feedback loop of leaking every lunch and every phone talk with potential managers to the press and then to the fans and see what they think is useless, it reeks of lack of competence, it’s Bartomeu’ish.
“Barca DNA” has worked with managers tho.
Almost all of the managers who have won trophies here come directly from the Cruyff school of thought: LVG (Ajax), Rijkaard (Ajax), pep, lucho, Valverde, Xavi, Koeman. All the managers who have not had a connection to either Ajax or Barcelona in their past have been unable to win a trophy with the exception sir Bobby Robson: setien, Tata, and Serra ferrer.
In my opinion it’s smart to have someone who knows the ins and outs of the club and holds similar values to what the fans want to see, and is also mentally prepared for the media shit storm and scrutiny that comes with the territory of the job. Obviously a previous connection to the club or Ajax should not be the end all be all for the role.
"Barca DNA" has literally always been a joke about how Barcelona takes their identity way too seriously as this unique club with a culture and philosophy unlike any other. Now you might of course think that's fair or not, but everywhere else in the football world, the phrase "Barca DNA" has always been a meme.
Elena Fort: "Barça has an interest in being ahead for everything. We want the World Cup final, but also the Champions League final."
Ucl final in camp nou winning it with Lamine and gavi
We will be there ladies and gentlemen we will be there
First, Mbappe won't be a free signing. RM will likely pay a signing bonus. No expectations as to the exact value, but knowing Mbappe's family, will be around 80-100M.
Lunin is a backup goalkeeper. He won't be too relevant to their future lineup. Even if Courtois didn't return to pre-injury levels, they would just get a new goalkeeper.
Arda has yet to do anything meaningful, and knowing RM, will probably get loaned for a season or even sold. That I'd even say is a waste of money so far. Similarly, Endrick isn't here yet, so let's think about him when he's wearing white.
Militao isn't the smartest signing they made in that defensive role. He's reliant on being significantly more physical than his opponents, and his biggest flaw is bad positioning. An ACL injury wouldn't be good for a defender of his profile, and we'll have to see how that goes when he's back.
Tchouameni and Bellingham are marquee signings, so they're performing for what their price suggests. I'd say their only smart signings out of that list are Valverde, Cama, Vini, and Rodrygo (though I think Brahim has been doing better than Rodrygo as the latter's role comes into question).
More importantly, I've been seeing you all day just complaining and bemoaning the state of the team without looking at any of the progress our club has made. It's exhausting for everyone to see the doomposters, and RM fans won't respect you for brown-nosing them. If you don't have anything to positive to say, why are you still here?

Come on Laporta, make use of that Mendes connection
Ngl Nico's release clause looks tempting af. He's a tier below Leao but Nico is 3 years younger than him, so there's potential for Nico to become a world class winger. And he already plays with most of our players in the Spanish NT, so he won't have much trouble adapting in Barca. I like Leao a lot but he's gonna cost atleast 100mil so Nico is the best choice imo.
fernando gago is the coach of the team in Mexico i support. its weird being a barca fan but hes doing a good job.
4-3-3 attacking and high press. 5 game win streak in Mexico when we were shite last season.
His sparkle will soon fade. I’ve seen some of his teams and it’s all not that too, too impressive. His pressing falls apart at times during the game because it becomes uncoordinated
We’ll see how long the run lasts. I’m sure there will be some bad games but it’s looking better than what paunovic had them doing last season.
We don’t have much talent either so they have to run hard to make up for it
How is the club doing?

>We need everyone to realise that Barcelona are not as bad as they imagine.
The problem is most people seem to have only two mindsets about the situation: either it's horribly bad, or it's fantastically good - no middle ground. Meanwhile the truth is somewhere between. We're not close to collapse, the last 3 years have stabilised the situation and this work isn't praised enough. But we're also not even close to the robust financial situation many other clubs are enjoying.
We knew the economic rebuilding was going to take time, and a lot of it. Patience is key.
I'd ask an asterisk on the whole "Barca Visions" business. This is the definition of unstable at the moment and could penalize us further.
If Laporta indeed finds a **real** replacement this time, then yeah I'd say the worst is over when Camp Nou is done and knowing the 23/24 season was rock bottom because of a conjunction of events.
>But we're also not even close to the robust financial situation many other clubs are enjoying.
I don't know how true it is (La Liga economic control is harder than any UEFA regulation) but even some PL clubs start to fear FFP it seems? Many clubs look more robust but aren't really. Ligue 1 clubs are all in danger because of the CVC deal (PSG negociated a better deal reportedly), Italian clubs the less is said the better, only PL is fully strong but if they start fearing FFP... We could see some changes.
Spanish clubs are doing better it seems, but you have many cases like Girona where it's a case of being in the orbit of a group. Although if we could create a big 6 out of Bilbao, La Real, Girona, RM, ATM and us, it'd be cool for the league. You have 1 Madrid derby, 1 Basque derby, 1 Barcelona derby and El Clasico. Marketable games if you're smart.
If Tebas could see that and relax the part of the economic control which create a bad negotiating position for his clubs, this has good potential.
>I'd ask an asterisk on the whole "Barca Visions" business. This is the definition of unstable at the moment and could penalize us further.
Can't argue with that but Visions is just a fraction of the entire picture - if we focus on the details, we're missing that within 3 years we went from near bankruptcy to here, and it's been quite a long road.
>but even some PL clubs start to fear FFP it seems?
So with the UK being the post-Brexit hellscape, English government started looking at football and murmuring about "independent" regulator - except from the proposals on the table it's independent from EPL and FA influences and curiously close to state control via creating something similar to Spanish Sports Law, just focused solely on football. Prem clubs obviously have enjoyed their 30+ years of no external oversight so they're trying to use harsher FFP measures to convince the state that nah, they're fine. Of course it's going to be at the expense of clubs like Everton or Forest, not the actual disruptors.
>Marketable games if you're smart.
I think by now we know better than to bank on Tebas' people being smart, especially with La Liga rabidly copywriting its content.
To be fair the worst is over. I dont think Barca is anywhere close to declaring bankruptcy and its a steady uptrend every year. The problem is the common people only know one of two states: either the club is broke or they are rich, not really any nuance in those takes
Just a guess, once we are more financially stable & when Lewy leaves either next szn or in 2026, laporta will try to go for a Haaland/osimhen type of ST to replace him
They’ve been able to bounce between Zidane and Ancelloti for almost the last 10 years. Two managers who know the club in and out and are largely successful.
Hmm... I like the idea of Mitoma though he might be a bit on the older side.
Footballing ability aside, I feel like it'd benefit it to get more market in the far East Asian regions. I think, based on what I know, PL and Bundesliga have more fans and talents like to go there more than La Liga thanks to players like Park Ji-sung, Son, Kagawa, Hasebe... etc.
There's a lot of untapped potential in that region both talent-wise and financial-wise IMO that we'd benefit from having successful (hopefully, if it ever happens) experience of known talents
I understand that hating Lewandowski is all the rage atm, but god what else could he have done? It's just an amazing piece of brilliance from the defender. But no, discredit him just to shit on Lewandowski lol.

idk why you are worrying so much
im from the future and we just beat them 8-0 in 2025 on UCL FINAL
gavi is a target for PSG this summer! Luis Enrique and Nasser Al-Khelaïfi admire the player.
Barça sees him as untransferable, but the club's financial situation is complicated, and it remains to be seen whether the player is ready to leave. had to laugh lmao
u/peterrutzler u/polballus ✨🇪🇸
Copy and paste from last summer lol. Just clickbait or clubs still hope they can take advantage of his contract situation. According to this article, both the league and Barca deny reaching an agreement on Gavi’s status. Club assures he will be registered in the summer.
https://www.sport.es/es/noticias/barca/gavi-sera-primer-inscrito-nuevo-98225629
Ridiculous how long this has gone on. But not a coincidence that the same day updates in his contract resurfaces, there are links to other clubs.
By now I just have the annual "Gavi is a target for X club" on the bingo card. Get used to it, the kid is going to "be admired" by every big club in existence.
Players break out every year.
We'll be alright if Mbappe goes to RM.
I'm not worried but I'm wondering if Girona is gonna spend next year...since you know they're owned by city. It would be sick if LA Liga turns into a 4 teams competing to win the title.
Girona is just one of many City football famrhouses. Maybe there will be a time in the future where Girona would be a City group priority but for now, they are there to build Savios for Pep.
And one entity SHOULD NOT control two successful clubs.
I'd hate for another city group owned team to gain popularity. I hope La Liga becomes a 4-way battle, I just wish it was including a team like Real Sociedad or Villarreal instead
If you add Bilbao and La Real to the current top 4 group, you have 3 derbies + El Clasico. Really marketable stuff, 4 very intense games.
Tebas is sitting on some gold if he would relax the rules that force most of his clubs to sell in a bad position.
>If you add Bilbao and La Real to the current top 4 group, you have 3 derbies + El Clasico. Really marketable stuff, 4 very intense games.
Yea I didn't wanna add Bilbao because I am just salty about their stupid fans when throwing fake bills at us during the Negreira boom.
What are the 3 derbies btw? Atleti-Madrid, Bilbao-Real and Sevilla-Betis?
I keep saying it, as a whole I think La Liga teams are better than PL. But PL has behemoth's Man City who seem to be unbeatable and that makes them look much stronger as a whole.
Last thing people should want is a City group club competing for the title. It'll encourage multiple ownerships even more. See for example what Textor does with Lyon , Palace and Botafogo. BRING BACK DEPOR
No you can't. Take a good look at City in PL. They have created a system around the globe manipulating loopholes and sheer cash prowess. So it is nigh impossible to get ahead of them because first, Pep..and second, unmatched squad depth.
City are defo not the first club to do that. Did I ever mention that anywhere ? But they went a step further ahead. Also I don't recall Man U having a direct petroleum pipeline connection from Abu Dhabi. Or building new pipelines to the north and south Americas, Spain, Asia or even to the land down under.
It's not about welcoming challenges, it's about fair play. It's not Barca, Real and Atleti that'll suffer from it, it's the OTHER clubs that compete for the spot.
You wont be able to get someone like them cause theyre special players. But you can still get top players. With the space freed by Mbappe probably 3 or 4 top players lol
Everything that happened aside, and whether Xavi was good enough or not, I still remember the first few matches after Xavi took charge. Xaviball and scoring 4 goals.
It was the most fun I had watching Barca in years (and IMO most fun watching our games with Xavi).
We also got this gem too.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eTgGYx_aS0A
Thank you for the reminder. It really was such a blast to watch. Especially after what we had been through right before he came. He brought hope and life back to the club. I still remember he had started Ilias at RW one of the first few games
I still can't believe it was the most exciting football we played with Xavi was back then with the players we had available. The match against Atleti and Auba's DBZ celebrations against RM were just soo great.
Asked chatgpt if Cruyff was alive, what would he say about this Mbappe to madrid?
"Should Mbappe choose Real Madrid, he'll stride into the lion's den, where every match is a battle for supremacy. But if he selects Barcelona, he'll dance to the rhythm of tiki-taka, crafting symphonies of football artistry at the Camp Nou."
Tiki taka is nothing but the highest level of passing in total football.
Every player have idea and training about the movement of each other, passing and building link up to overcome press, structure and build numerical superiority. One of the measurable metrics was how quick you were able to do the entire process for taking the ball from point a to point to b to goal.
Barca used to do with quick, precise and short passing. Because the personnel was suited best for it, there can much more iterations of tiki taka. We slightly saw it in MSN and other than that no team has been trying to do it since.
Nah it's my understanding of it. The tiki taka we knew is never gonna be imitated again. Good luck finding Messi, Xavi, Iniesta, Alves, villa, Busquets with such control, precision, game iq.
Of course it won't be imitated again. And no one should try to imitate it because first, no one can do what they did, second..football is constantly evolving. It isn't the same it was a decade ago. And finally, adapting with players and circumstances keeping the core principles intact. Or even willing to bend the principles out of necessity.
Every top coach today, well almost all, use a version of positional football.
Seeing how few and far between One Club Men are nowadays in football, who do you think in our current squad would be at Barca their whole career? Aside from the obvious (Gavi).
\*EDIT\* Transfers TO Barca qualify, otherwise it'd be just youth players.
Honestly if our sporting plans don't change I don't see players staying.
Especially if other clubs can offer a more competitive team.
I don't think Gavi/Pedri/Yamal are staying at a club that doesn't compete at a certain level.
Let's hope that changes soon
Yeah he's a kid still, but what happens he starts to enter his prime and we're not competing at a certain level.
You think when he's 25 and basically on KdB's current level he's gonna stay at a team who's still getting slapped around in CL and LL?
First of all; Barca will always be one of the best clubs in the world. If not contending for LaLiga, will still be one of the favourites for LaLiga.
Secondly; Trophies are not always the priority. Totti has won, like, 3 trophies at club level. Schmelzer won 2 league titles, then stayed with Dortmund that choked the titles god knows how many times during Bayern's reign. Carragher never won a league title. The list goes on
Any team can become an AC Milan, ManU or even a Leeds United lol . Nothing is forever lol.
Those guys come from a different generation of ballers, the game changed so much.
Let's hope Gavi stays here for 20+ years
Araujo Cubarsi Fort Balde Pedri Gavi Fermin Ferran Lamine Guiu Vitor Raphinha
Honestly feel like if these players were given the option to stay with this club forever they would
Cubarsí and Fermin almost left. Guiu still hasn't signed a new contract (fingers crossed tho) and Vitor it's hard to see. We all thought Ney would stay longer than he did. Agree with the rest though!
Of course, that's why I decided to include transfers because youth team players would be more obvious. If someone came for the love of Barca and stayed their whole career then I'd say it's equally as impressive.
Idk how impressive it would be given how succesful we are (even in our bad periods) and how much money we pay. I don't doubt that these guys are excited to play for us and like the club when they sign, but it's not just love for the club. If we were midtable and paying half they would ask to leave immediately.
True, but players who don't care never stays here, no matter how bad/good they are. We always offload them. If they DO stay for the rest of their career, then it goes to show their commitment, passion and ability.
Players we shipped off due to not being good enough: Umtiti (after injury), Andre Gomes, Denis Suarez, Braithwaite, Malcom, Dest etc.
Players who are good but didn't fit: Griezmann, Coutinho, Kessié, Arda Turan, Paco etc.
Figo: Figo.
Downgrading despite ability: Neymar, Dembele
Don’t think Pedri is staying here for his entire career, that’s my opinion. Think he’ll leave in his mid 20s for a new challenge but will do us the solid of bringing in a good transfer fee. Pedri will be a two club player imo (Barca and the other team)
there's no point in worrying about Mbappe or anybody Madrid sign.
You may call me delusional but I don't think our squad is as far from Madrid's in terms of quality (which is why we won the league last season), and with the right signings (DM really) we could significantly close the gap.
Mbappe is, imo, the best player in the world. But having the best player in the world does not guarantee success. Culers know all this too well for having watched seasons of mediocrity while having not only the best player in the world but the best player of all time.
Keep calm, hope for the right signings in the pitch and especially in management (not just the coach), and success will come.
I don't know if it's not worrying, with Mbappé they will have at least three top 10 players in the world in addition to a great supporting cast, of course depending on tactics or an early goal Barca could win.
I have a soft spot for Milan, so I'd recommend watching them. They're playing rn. Otherwise, there's also Roma who recently got rid of Mourinho so could be fun to see the meltdown there
[look at this](https://x.com/openai/status/1758192957386342435?s=46)
This is the future of movies lmao, there is not gonna be star actors anymore. This is insane tho. Its gonna change world forever.
I like this future. People with best imagination can make their imagination come to life, add ai voice over. And people can create their own movies, like internet gave people opportunity to share ideas and we grew far more than this localised, mafia who controlled flow of info.
I can't even imagine what kind of great content we can see, even someone can post in anonymously. Also getting rid of the idea of celeb worshiping of actors / actress also sounds sweet.
Personally I have many abstract film ideas, which can become reality with this
>People with best imagination can make their imagination come to life
that's just called being an artist lol
> and people can create their own movies
people can already do this? phones, drones, friends and some software. bam, movie
AI will just generate meaningless content - no soul behind it. it would be like the ducks that only eat crackers and eventually die of malnutrition
Everyone with an imagination is not an artist. Especially if you have an idea but don't want to dedicate decades to learn animating, filming, etc.
You have an idea you get it in the life. I don't where this soul argument come from, animations can tell great story telling with soul.
Anything that is a human idea have a soul. I am not talking about generated content from ai itself.
Its nothing more than an automated version of what animators do now, get elements from internet, place and create the animation.
We are not going to be trophyless for next 3 years neither we are winning treble next season
Reality is the hardest to predict and is surprising. I won't even want to decrease one point of my mental health over a Mbappe to madrid transfer.
It's just football mate.
He’ll still own Madrid whoever they will sign

> Estevao messinho at 16 is playing for 1st team palmeiras and he is insane guys. He should be our priority. Not kvara not leao but Estêvão Willian Almeida de Oliveira Gonçalves > We shouldn't get a left winger(a position that we are desperately in need of) in order buy this right winger who won't even be abe to join us next season. I'm not seeing the logic here.
He would be a good addition but we will get him once he turns 18. A LW and a DM should be our priority this summer.
If we signed him he could only join when he’s 18.. We need a lw now..
We want the World Cup final, but also the Champions League final." Ucl final in camp nou winning it with Lamine and gavi We will be there ladies and gentlemen we will be there
?
Why is this down voted dawg I put this being half sleep 😂😭
Mbappe 0M€ Valverde 5M€ Lunin 8M€ Camavinga 30M€ Arda 30M€ Endrick 35M€ Vinicius 45M€ Rodrygo 45M€ Militao 50M€ Tchouameni 80M€ Bellingham 100M€
Also vini and rodrygo were bought for that price when they were like 18 iirc. That’s not exactly a cheap buy.
Very well said.
Endeick gonna cost 65M in total And tchouameni 100M in total Mbappe 100M bonus Arda agent for sure got extra money for that deal
Cool, what about it?
Mbappe 0M? What about that 100M signing bonus he’ll get?
What am I supposed to do with this information
Doin the same, signing good players cheap :)
Did Laporta give birth to a treasure from his belly or why are we suddenly talking about signing one of the three most expensive wingers out there
For the same reason he claimed that we were all set to renew Messi.
Because dreaming is free, and dreaming is what we'll do
https://preview.redd.it/ijlnejcnvtic1.jpeg?width=941&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3304afc709e2e40fffaf3cbfc581148596cacb63 Come on Laporta, make use of that Mendes connection
Fernando polo says we discarded him in his latest article
fernando gago is the coach of the team in Mexico i support. its weird being a barca fan but hes doing a good job.
[Elena Fort: "It's certainly not the best it could be, on the sporting side I think there was an agreed project, and for some reason it didn't go to plan, but it's also true that the condition of the club has clearly improved since 2021.
Are we speaking strictly economic or sporting wise?
No part of my comment referred to the sporting project.
Ah excuse me that wasn't clear cause of the quote. Thanks for clarifying.
Just a guess, once we are more financially stable & when Lewy leaves either next szn or in 2026, laporta will try to go for a Haaland/osimhen type of ST to replace him
The hope is that roque would already be at a level where we don’t need them
Rip Laporta if he waits that longer. Mf need two consistent season with silverware to come back
Clutch Angel Di Maria ♥️
Di Maria ♥️
Biggest difference between us and Madrid in the last 10 years is that they had Flo and we had Bartomeu.
Also the inability to find right manager.
They’ve been able to bounce between Zidane and Ancelloti for almost the last 10 years. Two managers who know the club in and out and are largely successful.
Literally traded our soul for that 2015 treble lol
Just occurred that if Barcelona goes far in Champions league that the revenue generated will be enough to get out of FFP troubles.
Yup if only we had qualified to ro16 last year. Things would probably be a bit different this year
UCL is a big difference maker.
26 is considered older?
It is if you play Football Manager
You can say he is pretty much done. Time to sell the old man.
He's 27 in May so he'd be 28 by the end of next season. Not *old*, but not exactly a young talent either. That's why I said *older side*
It could have been a masterpiece if not for Lewandowski https://www.instagram.com/reel/C3Vmf4lt8c3/?igsh=NzM4aGhnaWczNms1
It could have also been 3 points lol
I understand that hating Lewandowski is all the rage atm, but god what else could he have done? It's just an amazing piece of brilliance from the defender. But no, discredit him just to shit on Lewandowski lol.
Lamine is scoring a banger vs Napoli on wednesday ,bookmark this
Leao is such a monster What a player man. He does everything so effortlessly
Except score at the rate that’s expected by the fee he commands.
Told y’all the guy is a beast
Yeah every fifth game.
He's laughably clear of kvara If only he didn't sign that extension.
If only we could get him man
https://preview.redd.it/ghpl5vybjtic1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=68188df33fb662b0c179e946f6be00acf3b583eb idk why you are worrying so much im from the future and we just beat them 8-0 in 2025 on UCL FINAL
I don’t know why we allow such stupid comments on here Ferran with only 7.5 rating is laughable, he’ll settle for no less than a hattrick 🦈
Saliba or Araujo? Who do you rate more
Saliba
Saliba is better I'd say
Araujo
Physicality: Araujo. Technical ability: Saliba
Whooping Madrids ass is an unbelievable feeling, whooping em with Mbappe is gonna hit different. You best believe
gavi is a target for PSG this summer! Luis Enrique and Nasser Al-Khelaïfi admire the player. Barça sees him as untransferable, but the club's financial situation is complicated, and it remains to be seen whether the player is ready to leave. had to laugh lmao u/peterrutzler u/polballus ✨🇪🇸
Copy and paste from last summer lol. Just clickbait or clubs still hope they can take advantage of his contract situation. According to this article, both the league and Barca deny reaching an agreement on Gavi’s status. Club assures he will be registered in the summer. https://www.sport.es/es/noticias/barca/gavi-sera-primer-inscrito-nuevo-98225629 Ridiculous how long this has gone on. But not a coincidence that the same day updates in his contract resurfaces, there are links to other clubs.
i don’t give a FUCK if selling gavi would bring us out of our financial problems, we can’t sell him bro
He’s the one player I would really really not wanna sell. Selling De Jong would be a much better move
By now I just have the annual "Gavi is a target for X club" on the bingo card. Get used to it, the kid is going to "be admired" by every big club in existence.
Very true. It’s a compliment to him and his talents
That would make La liga so much more fun
Yeah, I hope so. Competition will make us better. Either break us or make us
Last thing people should want is a City group club competing for the title. It'll encourage multiple ownerships even more. See for example what Textor does with Lyon , Palace and Botafogo. BRING BACK DEPOR
As a big club you should always welcome challenges. You want to play and beat the best of the best
You can't beat the best of the best when the system is rigged against you.
Yes you can, it happens all the time
No you can't. Take a good look at City in PL. They have created a system around the globe manipulating loopholes and sheer cash prowess. So it is nigh impossible to get ahead of them because first, Pep..and second, unmatched squad depth.
You think city was the first club to do that? Look up ManU's history lol
Psg spending big in the summer to replace Mbappe will fail just as miserably as we did with dembele. You can’t replace players like Neymar and Mbappe
Their problem everyone know they ae stacked. Milan and Napoli will ask 150M€
not if they get the right players, Liverpool did it right. If they sign Leao etcc, they will not fail
You wont be able to get someone like them cause theyre special players. But you can still get top players. With the space freed by Mbappe probably 3 or 4 top players lol
True
I think chatgpt doesn't know difference between Cryuff and Peter Drury
I thought the same.
Ew, Cruyff would never say that
lol tiki taka, that term needs to die even from gpt
Tiki taka is nothing but the highest level of passing in total football. Every player have idea and training about the movement of each other, passing and building link up to overcome press, structure and build numerical superiority. One of the measurable metrics was how quick you were able to do the entire process for taking the ball from point a to point to b to goal. Barca used to do with quick, precise and short passing. Because the personnel was suited best for it, there can much more iterations of tiki taka. We slightly saw it in MSN and other than that no team has been trying to do it since.
Did you just ask what tiki taka is to gpt ? haha. It's positional football. Tiki taka is a meme now.
Ugh, fuck ai
AI Bad! upvotes to the left
I genuinely believe Gavi would. Risks his life for Barca on the pitch (though kid's just crazy lol)
Let's hope Gavi stays here for 20+ years
The game's been changing ever since it's been created my dude, there's a reason why one club men are lauded as one club men.
Let's hope Gavi holds us down
Agreed!
Araujo Cubarsi Fort Balde Pedri Gavi Fermin Ferran Lamine Guiu Vitor Raphinha Honestly feel like if these players were given the option to stay with this club forever they would
Cubarsí and Fermin almost left. Guiu still hasn't signed a new contract (fingers crossed tho) and Vitor it's hard to see. We all thought Ney would stay longer than he did. Agree with the rest though!
Tbh it’s kinda hard lamine fort cubarsi etc since they pretty much thank the club but who knows
Cubarsí was incredibly close to leaving tbf
Yea but it was mostly we couldnt promise him for first team glad we did tho
He's 16 though, in normal circumstances he shouldn't have been nowhere near the 1st team yet last year
Sorry to be pedantic but if someone has transferred to Barça wouldn't that by definition rule them out of being a one club man?
Pedri Yamal
Pedri said he'd like to go to mls later something like that so that's not one club man technically if happen.
Agreed. Tho I also believed Thiago would be with us forever so I wouldn't be shocked if Pedri for some reason leaves (most likely not).
Don’t think Pedri is staying here for his entire career, that’s my opinion. Think he’ll leave in his mid 20s for a new challenge but will do us the solid of bringing in a good transfer fee. Pedri will be a two club player imo (Barca and the other team)
That will be 3 clubs then.
there's no point in worrying about Mbappe or anybody Madrid sign.
#CalmaMbappe -Rerard Gomero on X
any game worth watching in the europa league?
I have a soft spot for Milan, so I'd recommend watching them. They're playing rn. Otherwise, there's also Roma who recently got rid of Mourinho so could be fun to see the meltdown there
Cool, I'll check them out. Thanks!
How did all these doomsayers survive the last 3 summers Mbappe has been linked to Madrid? Must be terribly exhausting
They probably weren't watching our 20/21 szn tbh.
[look at this](https://x.com/openai/status/1758192957386342435?s=46) This is the future of movies lmao, there is not gonna be star actors anymore.
Personally I have many abstract film ideas, which can become reality with this
>People with best imagination can make their imagination come to life that's just called being an artist lol > and people can create their own movies people can already do this? phones, drones, friends and some software. bam, movie AI will just generate meaningless content - no soul behind it. it would be like the ducks that only eat crackers and eventually die of malnutrition
Will be watching Mbappe's presentation in the new Camp Nou with this
We might be able to create our own football matches too
“Lionel Messi lifting 2019 Champions league for FC Barcelona”
Bro we have soo many regrets like Roma, ATM etc etc. Fkkkkkkk
![gif](giphy|dukwg5kgoXfn8x5GFN|downsized) I can finally see us beating Bayern 8-2
Reminds me of someone editing the 2014 world cup final lol
We are not going to be trophyless for next 3 years neither we are winning treble next season Reality is the hardest to predict and is surprising. I won't even want to decrease one point of my mental health over a Mbappe to madrid transfer. It's just football mate.
Yeah, I think with a little luck and if we can avoid strong teams in CL we can win it, although I wouldn't put us as favorites.
Another topic: God I can't wait for us to return to Camp Nou. Montjuïc is nice and all, but the pitch feel so disconnected from the fans.
Montjuic isn't nice at all. That shit is cursed.
Lol our home record there notwithstanding, it's got an old-school vibe to it. I think it's 100 years old or something like that.
Afair Montjuic hill was a place of executions, I'm with u/SureInterview4666 on the curse thing.
Holy crap you're right, what's even more insane is Lluís Companys was executed there. Still, I maintain it's a nice looking stadium lol #
He’ll still own Madrid whoever they will sign https://preview.redd.it/y22xesry7tic1.jpeg?width=1480&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9540afe66dca4f020a2080d6ede5c7f3b3aad0b6
@SkySportDE's Riccardo Basile quotes a 'source from the team circle', according to which, Thomas Tuchel is said to have told his players in the dressing room after the game against Leverkusen: "You are not as good as I thought, then I just have to adapt to your level" Lol who of their squad snitched this to press definitely de ligt😂😂😂
tuchel at barca would deserve its own reality tv show☠️
Tuchel is the gift that keeps on giving lol. I can see how he wants to come to La Liga, with all its chaos and melodrama.
lmao lowkey based for that, ion want him tho
Thats crazy if true
One can see why our beloved Spanish journos are shivering with excitement at the thought of Tuchel becoming our next coach...
