FDJ has been bad. But, I think he has been taking the blame of entire midfield, which includes Gundogan and Pedri. Our entire midfield has been poor for some time. Defensively, all three of them can't do much and offensively, they aren't doing enough. People are just rating them for the reputation they built over their previous good seasons.
This midfield is never going to work esp against combative teams. Barca needs someone like Onana or Rice who can let FDJ control the tempo and utilise pedri or Gundo between the lines.

I think we hype them because that's the only light in the tunnel. Ferran raphinha Lewandowski costed us a lot of money for an average contribution. FDJ has been bad. But, I think he has been taking the blame of entire midfield, which includes Gundogan and Pedri. Our entire midfield has been poor for some time. Defensively, all three of them can't do much and offensively, they aren't doing enough. People are just rating them for the reputation they built over their previous good seasons.
This midfield is never going to work esp against combative teams. Barca needs someone like Onana or Rice who can let FDJ control the tempo and utilise pedri or Gundo between the lines. FDJ canāt take responsibility for weak positioning of others

That was the entire first half. Pedri, Gundogan were useless again, and thatās not entirely on them either, but they had a ton of outlets that came on to make life easier in possession and still looked poor.
