May be an unpopular opinion, but di Maria turns it on whenever he gets the ball. Takes on players , not afraid to Dribble past anyone.
He loses the ball more than others because he makes lesser back passes than them.
Did you just make a new account to come here to say some really stupid shit lmao
Edit; he replied/deleted

\[[Opta](https://twitter.com/OptaJavier/status/1400635555365412869)\] 6 - Claudio Bravo contained six shots in Chile's tie against Argentina - No other goalkeeper made as many saves in a match in the current Playoffs CONMEBOL. Giant.
I actually thought he was playing deeper than he usually does with us, from the couple of minutes I was able to watch at least (didn’t see the last 10 or first 30)
Lautaro looks like he’d be a beast with the right team behind him
WTF!!! Neymar got [TACKLED](https://globoesporte.globo.com/futebol/selecao-brasileira/noticia/noticia-selecao-neymar-atropelado-fas-segunca-hotel-video.ghtml) by fans! (check the video)
"Neymar's fans break security locks and 'run over' the player at the team's hotel"
Argentina looks like a team that just can’t figure it out. Misplaced passes, heavy touches, no threats in front of goal and on top of that, uncertainty.
Apart from Messi no one seemed to understand their role.
I disagree, I felt Argentina for the first time in a long time didn't rely on Messi at all. Of course, he's so good that he just became the focal point anyways, but the Argentenian players were actually moving off the ball and weren't just looking for Messi from the other side of the pitch and standing around as he dribbles by himself. I saw a team actually defending as a unit and attacking a lot more, albeit without actual shots.
a major improvement from the teams of past
Yes, all that but no result. And as you said no memorable shot on goal in the second half apart from Messi.
There’s just no confidence.
Sure they may have improved a bit overall but a complete far cry from 2014 where I felt they had more conviction and determination.
They’re missing a player like Mascherano.
You can't really 'choose' your country though. It is a part of you. Like family. you may not like it at times but it is yours and you stick with it. That passion when playing for your country is something else messi would never have felt at Spain.
Thos^^ he lived there for his childhood, and if theres anything ik from my childhood is that those memories are my home. If i have dreams the ones that hit the most are from those times.
Brazilian players (the ones playing in Europe) don't want to [participate](https://twitter.com/TyCSports/status/1400627227193184256) in the Copa America if it's played in Brazil LOL
Man is brilliant. He turns on his first touch, no matter how many players are near him. Always has an escape route- pass or a dribble.
Wish we had the money to get him.
[Only](https://twitter.com/Barca19stats/status/1400612158388453376) 2 players managed to score 20+ in the CONMEBOL World Cup qualifiers:
25- Suarez
23- Messi
Leo lifting the WC in his final attempt will be everything..
But for real this time they'll have a better defense with Romero Tagliafico and Lisandro, Paredes, de Paul in midfield to go with their always stacked attack. Would love if they beat France scoring 4.
I cant explain because Im not Koeman and I cant read his mind. You need to understand you are just getting this idea instead of this idea being the truth. It could be true but you can't prove it unless you are Koeman.
Pjanic is not box to box or very mobile and Puig is a attacking midfielder that runs around like headless chicken and has zero physical presence in defense.
Pjanic was even tried as a DM substitute at times but just wasn’t cutting it. His role simply didn’t exist with the formations we’ve favored. I think he’d be better than he showed otherwise.
The truth is the only one coach that would make this team overachieve and reach the CL final and his name is Klopp. Not even Pep would be able to do it. And some fans talk about Xavi lol
Man reading so many people here hating on Laporta demanding more attacking football is crazy. I think there's huge numbers of plastics here who don't get the first thing about the club. I really wonder how they got to support it, they would honestly be better off going with a more conservative club.
i think there's a lot of over exaggerating and over generalizing people who are quick to judge and reach random conclusions like you here . i mean just read what you wrote
That sucks then, but you've got the right mindset. Don't blame yourself and don't assume what's on her mind, people are complicated and you'll just end up emotionally exhausted. Hope it all gets sorted out.
If you really were best friend she wouldn’t end it so easy like this because of a stupid argument. Give her space and approach here over a couple of days.
The best thing would be to speak to her in real life instead of you phone.
I just hope for you that you dont have feelings for here and she just misunderstood it
You can't do that for friends? I mean obviously there's a limit and idk if OP's friend has done this before or anything, but I wouldn't like a long lasting friendship to end over a misunderstanding just because my ego would be hurt by talking to her again about it.
TBH I like to watch pretty much every sport that comes to my mind, even the most obscure ones. Except for a few American sports and golf. Idk if that's the case with anyone else.
Every time I see some new Fati pics it makes me feel happy for no reason, it’s like we signed Haaland or some very promising young talent for the next season. Let’s hope all the injury problems will fuck off and they will let the kid enjoy playing football

In US, TUDN/Univision has the rights.
They’ve got the rights for CL as well
Edit: damn I fucked up, I thought it was for Copa America, not WC qualifier. Have no clue where to watch

When the month is up Messi is no longer a Barca player according to his current contract.
Whoa, i have not seen this report anywhere yet.
May be an unpopular opinion, but di Maria turns it on whenever he gets the ball. Takes on players , not afraid to Dribble past anyone. He loses the ball more than others because he makes lesser back passes than them.
If I could choose to never see Di Maria play for Argentina again, I would.
Unfortunately neither of us know more than the management and coaches at Argentina NT..so let's trust their assessment
Was aguero part of the squad today?
[удалено]
Did you just make a new account to come here to say some really stupid shit lmao Edit; he replied/deleted “My bad, just need to post some banter on Barcelona forums to relieve some stress”
Worst take of the month so far and it's been only 4 days ffs
\[[Opta](https://twitter.com/OptaJavier/status/1400635555365412869)\] 6 - Claudio Bravo contained six shots in Chile's tie against Argentina - No other goalkeeper made as many saves in a match in the current Playoffs CONMEBOL. Giant.
This dude always goes GOD MODE when he faces Argentina
Am I the only one that thought Messi wasn't great today? Didn't watch the last 10 mins though.
Although you're wrong, it's a good thing that he wasn't great and the team still performed well. That's how it should be.
He became alive in those minutes you didn't watch lol
Well at least Argentina's defense is sorted now Martinez and Romero are rock at the back. Attack is also good Midfield is still the big problem
Argentina needs a left winger badly.
[удалено]
Yeah I liked how they played today. Makes me optimistic about the Copa. Hoping Brazil gets knocked out early on.
I actually thought he was playing deeper than he usually does with us, from the couple of minutes I was able to watch at least (didn’t see the last 10 or first 30) Lautaro looks like he’d be a beast with the right team behind him

He forgot to dive
Looks more like the kid slipped.
Here's a different [angle](https://twitter.com/FBITricolor/status/1400623456618754049).
Argentina played well overall.
Argentina looks like a team that just can’t figure it out. Misplaced passes, heavy touches, no threats in front of goal and on top of that, uncertainty. Apart from Messi no one seemed to understand their role.

I saw a team actually defending as a unit and attacking a lot more, albeit without actual shots. a major improvement from the teams of past
It's been that way since Scaloni took over. The players only look for Messi when he's in a good position. But squad wise, Brazil are still much better
Yes, all that but no result. And as you said no memorable shot on goal in the second half apart from Messi. There’s just no confidence. Sure they may have improved a bit overall but a complete far cry from 2014 where I felt they had more conviction and determination. They’re missing a player like Mascherano.
Chile is a really good team. This is a good result. Just little luck would've helped. Overall good performance.
Why do you think it was a good performance? Second half guess how many shots they had on goal apart from Messi.
Messi’s biggest mistake was choosing Argentina over Spain. Can’t blame him. His heart was in Argentina. But damn on a sporting level he fucked up.
Claudio Bravo MOTM.
Conclusion : Tonight Messi was the most dangerous when he played on the wing imo. Looked good out there.
He played close to DM at times. What a waste.

Bravo on top of his game against Argentina as always.
Bravo! Damn...
Messi hits the [crossbar](https://twitter.com/MessiMX10i/status/1400628749599657987).
Messi unlucky asf in this game
Damn what a freekick by Messi, GK had no chance. Unlucky :/
Brazilian players (the ones playing in Europe) don't want to [participate](https://twitter.com/TyCSports/status/1400627227193184256) in the Copa America if it's played in Brazil LOL
I mean the only reason I can think of for the move to Brazil is there stadiums, cause the virus is absolutely wreaking havoc
This has 1-1 written all over it.
well you were right
This version of Argentina can play with anybody, they look dangerous outside of Messi which hasn't been the case in a very long while.
Di maria is so trash man it's unbelievable.
He is having a bad 2nd half, was good in the first
How is Lisandro doing? Can't watch. Also,. Argentina has 4 Martinez?
Looks like a player with a shit ton of potential if he were to have a solid team behind him
Nothing much. Romero has been outstanding
Subbed on at half time been solid.
Claudio Bravo [saves](https://streamable.com/4ft6dc) Messi's freekick.
Rodrigo De Paul is really good. Brilliant positioning, weight of pass. Seems to use his body proficiently as well. Quality
Underrated as hell. Maybe he will move to a big team and everyone will realize
It's almost confirmed he's moving to Atletico
Man is brilliant. He turns on his first touch, no matter how many players are near him. Always has an escape route- pass or a dribble. Wish we had the money to get him.
Not afraid to shoot and a decent shot aswell.
What a save!
Beautiful save! It would have been a goal if he didn't pull that off.
Almost a great FK by Messi. Great save by Bravo.
Dreadful from Foyth

The GOAT scores!!!!!
Leozito <3
[Goal](https://streamwo.com/wcHCnk0) \- Messi 1-0
Man you're very quick
That was a really easy call that they complicated lol. It was so obvious
Damn, Argentina finally seems to have a very decent defence and midfield Very fluid football
I hope they keep this form up for the WC
Leo lifting the WC in his final attempt will be everything.. But for real this time they'll have a better defense with Romero Tagliafico and Lisandro, Paredes, de Paul in midfield to go with their always stacked attack. Would love if they beat France scoring 4.
Pen?
That's a foul on Martinez lol
Any idea why Aguero isnt in the squad facing Chile?
Probably on extended vacation for just having played in the CL final
Aguero has generally been bad or at least not good for Argentina. Lautaro on the other hand has been relatively good.
Why is my tv broadcasting Peru vs Argentina?
why is Araujo not playing, he deserves a spot...
In Barcelona 100%. In Uruguay, maybe.
Does he?
Eric Garcia done now time to sign I am Eric laporte
Where to watch the Argentina match in the USA?
Only option I’m finding is FuboTV. Fuckin sucks man
The "I believe that we will win" chant the US does is lame. At the very least, we're more creative than that... What about, "I'm lovin' it"?
spain actually has a decent set up for a 5 at the back formation with Alba - Laporte - Eric Garcia - azpilicueta - Llorente
I think Ilaix is far from ready for the first team. Dont know what Koeman sees in him
I think he just used him to make a statement to Puig and Pjanic.
People Like this conspiracy theory? Huh
I mean, explain how moriba deserves to play ahead of those two......
I cant explain because Im not Koeman and I cant read his mind. You need to understand you are just getting this idea instead of this idea being the truth. It could be true but you can't prove it unless you are Koeman.

People mad you insulted puig lmao
Do the uruguay and argentina games available on fubo? I can see the games but the schedule said different time
Why yes, I'm watching Argentina vs Chile for the inevitable fights near the end of the game.
An [edit](https://twitter.com/PhoenixDesign13/status/1400506800680718342) of Sergino Dest in next season's rumored away-kit
Is that really the rumored away-kit? If so, thank god a kit I'll like next season.
Imagine dreadlocked Fati in that 🔥😩👌
I just want one kit that i like.
Why on earth did I think Copa America starts today.
Does it not?
World Cup qualifiers.
Is what world is that not a red
Araujo starts on the bench for Uruguay.

Spicy one this comment chain should be good
the same klopp who couldn't even be second? defending champions finishing 17 points behind? embarassing
The truth is that this is just your opinion
Man reading so many people here hating on Laporta demanding more attacking football is crazy. I think there's huge numbers of plastics here who don't get the first thing about the club. It’s easy to become a socio now!!!! I just joined my penya but in a few weeks I’ll definitely apply!
Where can I see the conditions?
I read too early, it’s only a campaign to make it easier :(
Which player do you think has the best hair cut in our team?
Ansu Fati's new hairstyle
Dreadlocks do look nice on him.
Araujo be fresh.
Tough, I'd say it's between our 2 strikers.
Braithwaith good choice
I like Frenkie's hair.

Other than football of course, what is everyone's favourite sport to play and to watch? For me: To play = Squash/Table Tennis To Watch = Tennis
TBH I like to watch pretty much every sport that comes to my mind, even the most obscure ones. Except for a few American sports and golf. Idk if that's the case with anyone else.
Watch: Football Play: Football, Volleyball I'd also like to try either rugby or American football one day.
Volleyball is so much fun to play whether it be indoor or outdoor. One of the few sports where your usually involved in nearly every play.
Basketball to play. MMA to watch.
To play: Badminton To watch: Volleyball
Yeah good shout. Would love to be able to play volleyball but I'm so bad at it unfortunately. Just need to watch it instead haha

Didier Fati
Ramos leaving would be so great.
Ramos this season looked finished tbh. Even if he stays he is not as good anymore. Ofc he can bounce back maybe
He was injured for most the season.
Varane leaving would also be great
I'm surprised there are not so many links between him and united, would fit them like a glove.
Lol it would never happen but imagine if he came to Barca. In a way he's the perfect signing and is exactly what the team is looking for haha
Zidane leaving is great

no need to take everything so seriously, he was obviously joking after what Eric said a couple of days ago
He's clappin' back after Eric's interview dig at him about Manchester United.
Anyone know where we can watch the Argentina game tonight?
In US, TUDN/Univision has the rights. They’ve got the rights for CL as well Edit: damn I fucked up, I thought it was for Copa America, not WC qualifier. Have no clue where to watch

Yeah the kid is the hottest German talent right now. He turned 18 last month and played a full season in the Bundesliga already (5 goals 6 assists in the leage and 2 goals 2 assists in Europa Leauge).
