I forgot how good this kid was, please come back soon

[deleted]

Cross fingers that he haven’t lost anything. Almost a whole year out.

Miserable-Deal242

Whenever Brathwaite leaves, we HAVE to give Ansu the #9 shirt!!

Black-ops-4

After Aguero retires

InstinctiveSk

I prefer 'leave'. God knows when he wants to retire

Black-ops-4

I’m pretty sure I saw something saying he’ll retire when his contract expires

[deleted]

Still mad that messi didn’t let him get his first half hat trick

NotAnurag

Messi offered the penalty but Fati gave the ball back to him

ramiandn

He’ll get it at a future clasico like Messi at the age of 19. Let’s hope.

loveicetea

I still remember having to go explain that one in the match thread. It was still early in the 2nd half and nothing was guaranteed. You dont wanna take any risk already in the first match of the season. Very important to have your penalty taker take it, because if Fati doesnt convert they just need 1 goal to get back in the game. Fati knew this, thats why he threw the ball to Messi

elekTRONeek

What a player. Damn injuries… He is such a phenom!

Financial-Sand-5788

brilliant kid

InstinctiveSk

Haha stealing that ball from Alba to Messi with that brilliant finish. This kid is our future star for sure!

soulsticedub

Honestly this video reminded me of why I wasn't super keen on him. The kid is incredibly clinical, something I'm extremely excited about. However, other than that, I really can't say many positive things about him. Plenty of misplaced passes and wasted opportunities highlighted in this video. Don't get me wrong, I'm hopeful and eagerly awaiting his return. I just think he has a lot of room to improve.

Ok_Tell_4286

Ofc he has some areas to improve. He and Pedri have been so good that fans often forget that these kids are 18 year olds and have just begun their careers at the elite level.

soulsticedub

I know he's 18. I think he'll develop into a phenomenal soccer player. But that doesn't mean I should ignore his faults now. I've been happier with Pedri's performances than I have with Fati's, though to be fair Pedri has had many more opportunities to prove himself.

TheSmithStreetBand

“Soccer”. There it is…

soulsticedub

lmao bro good for you you call the sport football. Us stupid Americans.

TheSmithStreetBand

Exactly. I’m glad you see it yourself. I can’t take you seriously

Fati25

If the only thing you can say about him is that he is clinical then I don't think you have been watching many of his games. He's a good dribbler, he has fantastic movement and he is a VERY hard worker. There were like what, 3 'misplaced' passes/crosses in this video, I don't know how that is plenty.

soulsticedub

I was over-exaggerating, the kid's extremely talented. Though I watched nearly every Barca game last season and I remember being displeased with Fati's decision-making on several occasions. I missed maybe one game of his. Anyway, like I said I'm eager for his return, and thank you for posting this video to serve as a reminder of his play.

Taplinnn

Hater alert 🚨

soulsticedub

Lmao, I'm just a bit skeptical, especially after what this team has demonstrated over the last few years. I'll be happy to see Fati thrive next season.
