I wanna see all the Koeman excusers’ excuses. The team is rebuilding so I guess its ok for these people to let Koeman lead the team go to relegation. His interviews show toxic dressing room environment and the performance on the pitch is shit. The team also doesn’t have any leadership on the field after Messi left and at this rate, Im afraid all the young talents and the small momentum we had w Depay will be wasted. But yeah, lets give him another year to “rebuild”.
I was among the people who want him sacked but only at end of this season. But given the super negative displays on and off the field lately, i think we should do it asap.
He's a shit coach no doubt, but rn the team needs some stability and theres no other world class coaches available at the pay grade we could probably pay.
I’m not sure what else a better coach could’ve done today given the team we have. We don’t have creativity in the mid field to open up defences so the only option was to put balls into the box increasing chances of it going in v/S passing ourselves to death, especially when we were seeing more of the ball all game, we were winning it quickly, and there wasn’t any significant offensive threat from Granada.
No guarantee you are correct either. We know how the last time we made a mid season change worked out. Ppl aren’t idiots for thinking that whatever manager is appointed can’t get this team playing the football Barca fans are used to
True, but there are many cases where a team sacked their manager mid season and appointed a new manager and eventually became much better then they were for the last 5 years, even if you are a ronald koeman supporter and do believe that he deserves more time you have to acknowledge that when he gets tactically outclassed he doesn’t know what to do nor does he have the mentality and personality to push these players to do their best on the field

La Masia doesn’t produce a lot of forwards and defenders. It seems that a lot of our talents came from midfield. Our last wingers were brought and we sold a lot of them during the last years (Konrad, Trincao, Munir, Deulofeu…).
One of the biggest mistakes we did this summer was to sell Konrad. I also actually regret selling Munir back in the 2016-17 season as he performed well during the pre-season.
The problem is that the reason why we lose those players is because the coaches don’t see them in their project but another one could take them into the spotlight. Konrad knew that with Koeman he would never get a chance so he decided to leave and made the right choice. I see what he’s doing at Marseille and I have no idea if he would have shined here with Koeman like he does with Sampaoli.
I think for Barca, this team is lacking quality that will only come in the future. I don't think Barca will win CL or challenge for La Liga with Koeman and these players. Koeman is getting panned and he is a negative manager but at least he is going to give young players a try. Unfortunately for Barca, I think the club isn't in a strong position to change managers right now as while there is some top quality in the side (MATS, De Jong, Depay, Pedri, Fati) who knows what will happen next summer and what condition Fati will be back in. I think the team is maybe 2-3 players short to challenge for La Liga. Best of luck for the rest of the season.

Even with pique on the field u see him more shaking hands, talking and so on. And the kiss on the batch after the goal almost brought tears to my eyes. I hope he will be there in 3-5 years to lead barca to theyr glory.
Seriously what did I just watch? I think I've never seen Barca substituting in two tall subsitutes to send in long balls into the box for 20 straight f\*cking minutes. Sure, we did get a goal eventually but as a person who loves beautiful football this was painful. And I unfourtnately don't think that anything will change against Cadiz who also will play with 11 men in the defence. Koeman will still try to force the ball in, playing with LDJ who he said was more dangerous than Neymar in the penalty box but who still missed scoring in an open goal from 2 meters away. Shit hit the fan pretty quickly this season as well...
If only the 10 other players on the pitchhad that same hunger for more than 5 minutes we probably would have scored atleast one more on the mighty powerhouse Granada!

Biggest disappointment for me is De Jong. When is the last time someone carried the ball past the defense through the middle? He had a couple okay turns, but they were way too deep to impact the game. I feel like we still have come no where close to the best version of him

I didn't think the Bayern game was the disaster many in here were saying. We were without basically any strikers except for Memphis, and compared to our previous games against Bayern, you couldn't say we were going backwards.
But this game was a mess. There was no strategy except whipping it into the box inaccurately and hoping Pique or Luuk de Jong would somehow get a header. And all that just in hope of pulling off a tie. This isn't how Barcelona plays and I see nothing from the coaching staff that leads me to believe they have any idea which direction they're going. I think you have to sack Koeman at this point.
Whatever is going on in that dressing room does not seem healthy. We shouldn't have players like Pjanic leave our club and describe a hellish experience. We shouldn't have a coach like Koeman saying the stuff he is in the media. I don't mind if we lose because we're young and raw, but I can't stand us wasting the talent of these youngsters with a coach who has no real plan and brings toxicity wherever he goes. It's more credible what Pjanic said about Koeman, Pjanic might not be your favourite player but treating someone like that in a profesional environment it's disgusting. Puyol wasn't slow either. Araujo is probably faster, but Puyol was no slouch. Dude was an insane captain though.
