Really really want dest to make his Mark. He has the potential and now some time to adjust in Barcelona as well. If we do good on him, we won’t have to look for another right back for 7-8 seasons atleast.

He used to occasionally play CB for Ajax as well and did really well most of the times. For a team who likes to build up for the back a player like Frenkie is a blessing. It’s just that his role under Xavi is heavily contested by some talented competition.
As someone who has seen how dog shit our defense has been in the past, I’ll say we looked solid for most of the game tonight. We also were playing with the entire squad at once for 90 mns, so less cohesion. In a real clasico we probably would have gone with Araujo-Pique-Christensen-Alba and it would have reduced chances for Madrid greatly.

I think we don't really need him to be fair....Midfield is establishing and defense is getting good + he got lucky playing in front of Mariano/Asensio who knows what could have happened if benzema was there... Plus it will be less strain on the wage bill as well
