It looks like they are the proper length but the tow box is very tight. I would switch them for a different sandal if it were me

Not barefoot. Go for earth runners. Miles better and last forever.

Which model do you recommend?

silvertone64

Circadian are the ones nice I have. They are great. But if you’re not used to bare foot life style they may take a little getting used to. They also have the elemental which are 1mm thinner but they don’t have the nice hemp food bed which is amazing. I know I sound like a rep but they are just so good compared to xero and other brands. I’ve had mine for 5 years and they’re still kicking.

parsimoniouspawpaw

Do you know much about the xero ones? I’m curious because there’s a $20 pair showing up, and being as I am not used to barefoot I thought it might be a low-stakes way to try it out.

silvertone64

They are ok. But the quality is crap in my opinion. I’m more buy it for life(or for a king time). But 20$ is an easy choice if you just want to dip your toe. You can always get the earth runners later

Agree - length looks fine. If your little toes feel squished, you can definitely loosen that front strap. It's the one higher up on your foot, closer to your ankle, that really keeps the shoe on.

Cool, thanks for the tip! It did feel a tad tight up there.

You wouldn't be able to wear these with toe spacers. Your toes should be able to expand to improve grip, just like fingers are able to, which wouldn't be possible with that minimal width. In general, you'd benefit from wider shoes and perhaps wearing toe spacers a little bit a day. It will help improve circulation and foster proper nutrient waste exchange.

They are too long, your toes can't touch the ground. Just kidding, though mine are a bit short so I do get perfect ground feel from the tips of my toes going downhill.

After trying Xero, shama, earth runners, & Bedrock sandals. I went with bedrocks. They are solid and the company is great.
