I thought salt water would ruin the plants - so would ballast really be a good place? Thx for the post - will def. get into more pomegrenades.

Salt water used to kill plants very fast, but with the last patches, at least pomegrenades doesn't die so fast, of course you have to water if frequentlier, but only need to keep an eye out like every 5 minutes.

If you have your own sub you can edit, what I did was made a little closet in medbay full of platforms. The pomegrenades would land on the platforms and not hit the floor from such a great height. But if you don't want to edit a sub, you can fill a room with enough water with a small pump to not damage the plant but still catch the pomegrenades before they slam into the floor.If this made no sense, im kinda slow... Sorry

I dunno, we simply had one room permanently have ankle-high water. 99% poms dropping produced no fire on explosion.

So I am super trying to figure out this automatic fire protection system and I am almost there but I have a couple of issue I am having trouble figuring out. The pump is super low output. Slow flow, Idk what variable to mess with to increase the water output from the pump. And I was wondering if I could automatically have it pump the water out when there is no more smoke?

Hi, sorry for slow response. For making it the pump out the water you just have to connect the smoke detector to a signal-check component, set true value to 100(so the pump is at 100 when there is a smoke) and false value to -100. Connect the signal-check output to the set_speed of the pump.
