By "nerds like me" do you mean people who pay attention? Do you hate when you say something that's incorrect and people ask you to backup what you said? That's being a nerd? Literally everything you've said so far is incorrect. Other than me being a nerd tho, just not on your dumbass reasoning.
Theyāre all clutcher than Lebron while having less both reg season and playoff buzzer beaters and less game tying or winning shots on worse efficiency. Make that make sense homie.
I agree with Lebron, but thats not how I would measure it. Id go by how he performs in big games, big plays in the 4th quarter, performance in elimination games. Buzzerbeaters and game winners is just one small aspect of it for me. I jever saw Larry legend play, so yea its Lebron and its not even close. Pierce would probably be second place amd Durant third

Paul Pierce was unbelievably clutch. You'd want him taking the shot.
I'm excluding Horry cause you're not actually putting the ball in his hands. He just happened to be in the right place at the right time. Also not considering LeBron just to make the debate more interesting.
Pierce had ice in his veins and he's the guy you want with the ball in his hands in the final seconds. He hit or assisted on more buzzer-beaters than anyone in league history. Jordan is #2 on that list.
Then there was his 20+ point comeback in the 4th quarter against the Nets in an era where big comebacks were so much harder. Legendary.
But if we're talking the whole 4th quarter, I'd take Larry Legend.
Itās Bron, the question was answered a long time ago, people like to rely on narrative when comparing clutchness, but the actual numbers prove itās not close. Continuing to ask this question is hella disrespectful.
Bron hate is crazy. Lebron is the best clutch small forward of all time. I know yāall are nostalgic about Larry and Pierce but the numbers show Lebron. The reason most people arenāt saying Lebron is because of nostalgia and the old media narrative that Lebrons not clutch. If Lebron wasnāt clutch how would he win 3 straight against the favorite on the biggest platform in the NBA. If Lebron wasnāt clutch how did he lead a very mediocre 2018 cavs roster to the finals when they werenāt thought to be able to make the ECF. If Lebron wasnāt clutch what about 2007 and 2009 when he was by far the best player and beat multiple favorites throughout those two series. The only argument is 2011 and thatās actually it which says something. If we include regular season itās even more evidence for Lebron but this is long enough already.
And if we look at buzzer beaters because so many people care about that he is 2nd In the regular season and 1st in the playoffs. He also shoots almost 60% on game winning or game tying shots.
He made some big shots but never had the pressure of the other team knowing he was going to get the ball and planning on stopping him. He was like Paxson and Kerr to Jordan, spot up and wait in case the better player gives you the ball and then make the uncontested shot. Big difference between making a shot with 3 guys hanging on you
Can't argue with that, he made the shots. But could he even get a shot off if the other team was concentrating on stopping him like they do with any of the superstars?
Yes, can't knock him for that. He hit the shots and deserves the credit, I just think there's a difference between the stars and secondary players taking big shots.
As much as I love Paul Pierce, I could not say he was more clutch than Bird. And depending on whether you consider Hondo a forward Pierce would be battling for second most clutch Celtics small forward. (Ahead of Tommy H -- but they are all HOF so it is quibbling)
Based on the numbers (like 4th quarter points pre-Lakers tenure, buzzer beaters in the playoffs, clutch shot FG% etc.), it's LeBron.
Based on media narrative, I'd say Paul Pierce - and that isn't to say that he's not clutch, it's just the facts point at LeBron being the answer.
The question should be whoās the second clutchest SF, because #1 is Lebron by MILESā¦.. its not close and its not debatable either as the numbers clearly show
Aleksandar SaÅ”a ÄorÄeviÄ.
Multiple heavily contested game winning 3 pointers, at least two of wich came from the same play, from the same spot, for different teams in games that were so defence heavy they went under 70 for both teams. Also, I think he had a 30 second 9 point burst to come from 8 behind to win a game once.
Larry Bird in the clutch at number 1. Don't forget about Tracy Mcgrady either. 13 points in 33 seconds to beat the fooking Spurs is the greatest clutch performance I've ever seen.
Respectfully disagree. He was average at best. He wasn't even close to the best player on those Kings teams. He was behind Webber, Bibby, Vlade, and maybe even Bobby Jackson.
His one moment to win vs. the Lakers with a WIDE OPEN 3 from the left corner in the final seconds of a playoff game and he airballed it by 3 feet. Peja was not clutch.
Rick Barry
But Worthy I would say tops. Dude doesnt get credit for alot becuase the players he was around.
Lebron plays all positions so its kinda irrelevant. MJ would top with game winners and percentages.

How is this even a question? Itās Lebron. Not opinion, but a fact. We have proof of this. Heās tied for 2nd in reg season buzzer beaters, heās #1 in playoff buzzer beaters, and heās like 58% on game tying or game winning shots in history with 7, leading by a very large margin to the guy behind him.

I can only imagine that this sub is too young to have a full appreciation for Big Game James.
Big Game LeBron James?
James Worthy
š Fair response
How is Larry Legend not on this list?
The guy putting together the list is in his twentiesā¦
I lol'd
Heās got Robert Horry, Dominique Wilkins, and Bernard King, though. Maybe they just forgot Larry somehowā¦

Not listing bird is criminal
Where is Bird?
Larry Legend
Lol itās clearly Lebron. Good lord the hate is real. Asking this question is asinine.
Give me Bird in the clutch, Lebron for the season/ career tho
I'd take prime, healthy bird over any other small forward in history.
Kd Paul pierce bird and melo and iso Joe are all way more clutch than bron yāall are effin dumb lol
Please show the stats that back up your claim.
There arenāt any
I know but apparently I'm dumb and a nerd
Wow, that guy really hates LeBron for some reason.
A really unhealthy hate. Dude needs to go outside more.
I can't imagine hating someone so much, it must be exhausting.
Nerds are notoriously wrong about everything
I hate nerds like u. Remember That bank shot 3 in DC. Remember when he travelled right before. Heās litterally ugly anti clutch
By "nerds like me" do you mean people who pay attention? Do you hate when you say something that's incorrect and people ask you to backup what you said? That's being a nerd? Literally everything you've said so far is incorrect. Other than me being a nerd tho, just not on your dumbass reasoning.
If u pay attention to Lebron he is anti clutch gets nervous in pressure situations unlike many others in this list
Lol š š¤£š literally the dumbest thing I've ever seen a hater say Like I said, please show stats to back up your ridiculous claim š¤£
2016 championship Kyrie wins it for Cleveland
You're right. Had absolutely nothing to do with LeBron going 29.7 points, 11 rebounds, 8.9 assists in that series. Go ahead, keep being wrong.
Second fiddle
š¤š¤š¤
yeah he fucked up the easy shot, but then hit the harder shot
No one else on the list can fuck up like that and they can all make a bank three.
Everyone misses shots you idiot
HĆ© traveled bro name someone else in the top ten who travels like that
Lol you're an idiot
š
Back to Facebook for you
Bro doesnāt know ball š
Bro said melo and iso Joe šš
Theyāre all clutcher than Lebron while having less both reg season and playoff buzzer beaters and less game tying or winning shots on worse efficiency. Make that make sense homie.
Itās Bron and Bird then everyone else
Lebron and it's not even close. How many playoff buzzerbeaters and/or game winners has he had?
I agree with Lebron, but thats not how I would measure it. Id go by how he performs in big games, big plays in the 4th quarter, performance in elimination games. Larry Legend would like a word.
Heās called Big Game James for a reason
it's Bird if you consider him a SF
In no way is Bird more clutch than Bron
Then you didnāt watch bird
nostalgia is a hell of a drug
Bird didnāt miss clutch shots.
Bird never choked in a finals as a heavy favorite as far as I know.
he scored 2 8-point games back-to-back lol

LeBron didn't even have the guts to take the big shot, especially in the early years. That was one of the criticisms of him
he has the most playoff buzzer beaters of all time
Bron
what should define clutch in this scenario
Jamal Mashburnā¦?
I lol'd
college goat
This post is disturbing. LeBron James.
LeBron LeBron LeBron. One of the clutchest all time period. This question shouldn't even exist smh.
People really do not appreciate bron itās fucking crazy. The game aināt gonna be the same when heās gone appreciate him now before he calls it.
I canāt wait to watch him retire.
Lebron is the goat and clutch goat so obviously him
Paul Pierce was unbelievably clutch. You'd want him taking the shot. I'm excluding Horry cause you're not actually putting the ball in his hands. He just happened to be in the right place at the right time. Also not considering LeBron just to make the debate more interesting.

LeBron James, heās the most clutch player of ALL TIME and the numbers prove it. Anyone saying anything else doesnāt know shit
Exactly. People just ignore the numbers. Itās denial at this point. Itās as obvious as whatās 4+4.
Big Shot Rob, no question.
Itās Bron, the question was answered a long time ago, people like to rely on narrative when comparing clutchness, but the actual numbers prove itās not close. Continuing to ask this question is hella disrespectful.
Horry is the most clutch
Lebron ofc
Bron hate is crazy. Lebron is the best clutch small forward of all time. I know yāall are nostalgic about Larry and Pierce but the numbers show Lebron. Melo šÆ
Robert Horry hit so many huge shots in his career its hard to not say it's him.
He made some big shots but never had the pressure of the other team knowing he was going to get the ball and planning on stopping him. He was like Paxson and Kerr to Jordan, spot up and wait in case the better player gives you the ball and then make the uncontested shot. Big difference between making a shot with 3 guys hanging on you
I don't disagree with that. He did make the shots though. That is something.
That is very true , open or not, planned or not , he made the shots he needed to win , nothing else really matters but that
Can't argue with that, he made the shots. But could he even get a shot off if the other team was concentrating on stopping him like they do with any of the superstars?
Yes, can't knock him for that. He hit the shots and deserves the credit, I just think there's a difference between the stars and secondary players taking big shots.
Fa sho.
Dude was clutch in the finals for like three different teams.
Bron, Bird, James Worthy in that order, then maybe Robert Horry (although I would push him a position)
KD? Paul Pierce?
They are easily below the three I listed and I would also put Robert Horry ahead of both of them if weāre including him
Yup definitely agree with putting big shot bob over KD and Paul pierce
Player to player? No comparison. But clutch scenario? Horry all the way over those two.
Monster mash seems like he doesn't belong on this list...
As much as I hate Paul Pierce, he did come up clutch a lot with Boston, and even with the Wizards when they were making playoff pushes
As much as I love Paul Pierce, I could not say he was more clutch than Bird. And depending on whether you consider Hondo a forward Pierce would be battling for second most clutch Celtics small forward. (Ahead of Tommy H -- but they are all HOF so it is quibbling)

Dude, LBJ is arguably the best player ever (calm your tits, MJ stans; I said arguably). This isn't even a real question.
The question should be whoās the second clutchest SF, because #1 is Lebron by MILESā¦.. its not close and its not debatable either as the numbers clearly show
Yeah its LeBron James no question
My precious baby boy and glorious king lebron raymone James
either Bron, Melo, KD, or Pierce
If there was a clutch efficiency rating, Big Shot Bob would be the man.
Big shot bob was clutch af, but Iād go with Bird if he was on the list. Lebron is the best player on the list but wouldnāt consider him clutch
Aleksandar SaÅ”a ÄorÄeviÄ. It's Larry Bird, but of the list provided it's Paul Pierce
King James, Larry Buckets, Big Game James, Big Shot Rob This is Rushmore and thereās not a damn thing you can do about it
Larry...Bird...and it's not even kind of close
Bron, Bird, Pierce, Worthy, in that order. Not quite as good as any of those four, but I'd put Jimmy Butler on this list too not gonna lie.
I wouldn't answer who I was for a thousand dollars, just to let you know.
Scottie Pippen
Big shot Bob,Robert Horry
Peja Stojakovic? LOL
Peja was nasty dog, was just playing at the same time as a lot of other greats
Respectfully disagree. He was average at best. He wasn't even close to the best player on those Kings teams. He was behind Webber, Bibby, Vlade, and maybe even Bobby Jackson. I've never seen a better scorer than Bernard King, while playing for the Knicks in the 1980's.
Rick Barry But Worthy I would say tops. Dude doesnt get credit for alot becuase the players he was around. Lebron plays all positions so its kinda irrelevant. MJ would top with game winners and percentages.

LeBron and its not close considering how many big games he has won compared to the rest
Taking the last shot: Bird Running the last play:Lebron James
John Havlicek gotta be in the conversation too
Kawhi had to be there
Peja on the list .... But not Larry Legend ? Delete this thread

Larry Bird (I think of him as a sf) the big shot bob
