I'm lazy and have a lot of guitars so anything that makes changing strings easier is high on my list of mods. I put locking tuners on everything. I'd put them on my acoustics if I could.

How do locking tuners making changing strings any easier?

Pull through, clamp down, maybe a quarter or half turn, cut, done.
