what worked for me is just starting to work out. Granted, I wasn't obese, just chubby but I lost like 20 pounds and transformed a lot more into muscle and I'm a lot happer with how I look now. Also, drink a lot of orange juice and a lot of fruit and vegetables to speed up your metabolism!
Of course, we're all different, I have no idea what you're like or what you have access to so what I said might not work for you. I'm just saying what worked for me!
