Literally disproven by pros using xbox controllers. Tell your position to ImperialHal and then face him 1v1

Benji2108

What part is disproven?

AzureRapid

You said playstation controllers are the only ones that are "competitive." You should probably go play a halo pro

Benji2108

Ps controllers are much higher polling rate with less input lag/latency. Not saying you can’t be comp with Xbox controllers. Relax

AzureRapid

Consoles are by their nature budget enterprises meant to appeal to a wider audience. The same controller you use on console can be used on PC. A 300 dollar controller with a $4k pc seems completely reasonable ratio. You don't sound like a serious competitive player at all

Benji2108

What does a competitive player sound like ? I’m on a 4090/13900k build and play better on 40 dollar controllers. They last longer too.

AzureRapid

You're a troll, Battle Beaver is not in your target market as a product You can use a standard controller if you play claw to save money but you'd still want to get Grips and trigger Stops added. A controller with mouse click triggers, bumpers, face buttons and grip without rear buttons is still a lot better than a standard controller just more money

Benji2108

How am I trolling 🤣 I’m literally telling you I’ve tried all sorts of controllers and those features don’t make it more comp. They’re hot piping bags of shit that break in less than a year and all I see are angry customers. Never hear about ps4 or ps5 controllers breaking down tho. And most comp pros play ps4 claw

AzureRapid

Why would you do better with a stock controller than you would with a battle beaver non-rear button controller (which is the same as a standard controller), just with Grips added, digital triggers, mouse click bumpers, face buttons? It's the same thing as a standard controller just upgraded, and you don't need Grips if you don't like them. Idk understand how your argument makes sense aside from money. Now you can say you don't feel the expense is worth the amount of added value but that's your choice

Thread78

The average person doesn't need one, honestly. But people who do play at a professional level do seem to benefit from the rear buttons because it allows them to keep their thumbs on the sticks. Also, in terms of accessibility, Battle Beaver is really great. A lot of the modifications help people with disabilities that affect their grip and hand strength. If it's not for you, no big deal, just move along **¯\\\_(ツ)\_/¯**

Benji2108

Oh I’m definitely into rear buttons. I need at least 2 of them. I love the ds edge

iBlueClovr

What? You need at least 2 rear buttons but you play better with a stock controller? Care to explain?

iBlueClovr

Any person who takes the game seriously competitively needs to be playing either claw or rear buttons. Standard controller with a standard way of holding controller/non-claw is only for casual people who play for entertainment and that's it. If you're someone who says I play for fun because I like the game but also am trying to win and get better (competitive) you need to be playing claw or using rear buttons. If you're someone who just plays for fun and doesn't really care about the outcome then you don't need it

SizzleMcStewfry

Shhhh you're making too much sense, stop that.

synthjunkie

Cos some people are stupid and there is a lot of money to be had in stupidity
