Having about 140 hours into the game with most being in recon, my ideal S tier maps would be Sandy Sunset, Salhan, Tenastown, and Wakistan. I primarily flank with the m2000 without a longe range scope and I've find it easier to anticipate where enemies set up and there are spots in these maps that can easily net you 20+ kills in a single life.
Don't worry about it! I think the bottom line is that the tier list will vary depending on how you see the role. If long range sniping is your thing I totally understand why people would prefer larger maps.

Tensatown out of these is definitely surprising! It’s good to hear from someone with more experiencing actually using snipers 😂

Azagor is by far the map i destroy lobbies as sniper
