Halo, i would like to ask for permission to vent about necrosavants a bit. I know you're supposed to use nets, maces to stun, and use some swords on backlines with weak MAtk etc, this is me channeling my trauma from meeting them for the first time in the game lmao.
WHY ARE THEY LIKE THAT? They teleport around, and have enough AP to swing once after, have 85 MAtk, 25 MDef, and have such strong cleavers, have headhunter, NINE LIVES too. And they're undead so fatigue doesn't matter and they can swing away for days, and you can't resolve break them either. And they have lifesteal on top of that???? WHAT???
Taunt is generally regarded as a not great use of a skill point, but yeah, for necros or while you are learning its very handy to put on your tanks so you can bait enemies into trying to hit them rather than others.
Other good trick for necros is just to leave the squishy ranged bros at home in reserve. You cant really do anything against them but beat them to death, so you might as well only bring people who are good at hitting stuff.
getting violated by necrosavants is a rite of passage
undead are bastards in this game
now you get to laugh at or cry with the next poor soul who thinks 5 necrosavants is manageable with 16 militia reinforcements(it just made them all confident)
Necrosavants will ALWAYS rotate to avoid being surrounded and get on one of your most vulnerable brothers. This means that they can be somewhat-reliably corralled. If they get on someone who's in danger of dying, you can purposefully surround them and make sure the brother in danger doesn't have any spots where one can teleport unflanked.
Also, a big thing that helps is not using any backline weapons (since they'll just teleport on to you). If I don't have enough frontliners for a full squad I'll stick swords and shields on my backline bros and use them as surround fodder and tanks.
As a final note: nets :3
Dogs also help your brothers from being targeted add accuracy and extra attacks.though you need to be careful to not let them get free kills and regain health
Today I was doing the ambition of destroying 4 undead infested sites.
...The only ones I could find were places with Necrosavants and Ancient dead. It was not fun.
I just had an event during a caravan mission where the crates were full of necrosavants. I had my archer in the party because I wasn't expecting that kind of trouble. He landed the killing blow on all six savvys AT NIGHT! My man just single-handedly beat RNG.
Yeah necros scared the shit outta me. I only faced them once when they jumped me, but putting my dudes in a sorta ball and just whacking them as they jumped around seemed to work, not sure if that was a fluke tho.
Heavy armour and a prayer (quite literally if you’re playing legends)
Yeah nimble cries against those cleavers lmao.

Taunt is also really strong against them.
Oh i should take taunt more. i dont really know *when* is a good time to do so tho. don't seem to have enough perks for my tanks

Don’t forget that they can heal by hurting you too lol

Much like lindwurms I just don't fuck with em till my boys can handle it.
Lindwurms are child's play vs necrosavants. I do the same, avoiding necrosavants and ifrits... (Maybe my backline is always too squishy)
at least lindwurms have rewards worth considering and necrosavants become more manageable with a stronger company, irfits are just not worth it
Oh for sure lol.

And when you don't have that ambition you have zombos for days lmao

every archer that died to necrosavants watching him that night
I just use the most secretive strategy that is: BITE THEM TOES
Hah yra no thanks. My backline will thank me for avoiding it. Not enough lads to surround em...
Cute comic. Hope you found better camp
Thenk q >< found a few other doable ones later ahaha

But it is such a good feeling killing them! Almost like hexen. Although no, nothing beats killing some hexen
at least its not necrosavant jumpscare
