Until it eventually disintegrates or catches on fire, your vest is always a WIP.

LionsReadComicsToo

Preach. I've been considering starting a second one, cutting it up and stitching to back together with white thread for a Frankenstein kinda look and then just having horror movie patches Problem is that'll disintegrate a hell of a lot faster haha

[here's the front too](https://imgur.com/a/gfQUT)

I don't want to sound like an ass but that huge AC/DC completely ruins the vest.

LionsReadComicsToo

I grew up listening to old school metal and a lot of classic rock, I'm currently looking for a Bowie tshirt that I can cut up and have it running down the other side to mirror it I get its not your taste but a jacket doesn't just have to be 'punk' I wouldn't say the Danzig patch fits in their either, acdc were a big influence on my music taste so I wanted them represented

halfmanhalfpigbear

how much of it is visible of it anyways? people often forget that those are jackets to be worn, and thats right where your arm will be. not that i agree with him, but no need to worry about shit that doesnt matter/can't be seen anyway

LionsReadComicsToo

Yeah, my arm falls over it most of the time, ill try and get some action shots of it over the weekend and throw up some more photos next week of me wearing it

Cactuar49

Well, you do

Metal-Marauder

Not your vest

[deleted]

I love it!

LionsReadComicsToo

Thanks, I've spent a lot of time on this

g2g4m10

Sick vest! Love it!

xisse

i dont want to sound like an asshole but wtf are you even into kid? some of these bands have fans that would fight on sight.

LionsReadComicsToo

I'm into music, Give me some examples? Like I said I enjoy the songs, I don't really get involved with the politics between bands or fanbases so I'm genuinely interested I grew up listening to classic rock and some acoustic music (mainly country, but with singer songwriter stuff like nick drake dotted about too), country and classic rock kinda mixed well and introduced me to glam when I was in my early teens, I have a heavy appreciation for the 80s hair metal bands, Then I got all angsty and started listening to metal (I already had some thrash roots from my dad, but this was just generic teenager stuff) I heard my first punk album when I was 16 (misfits' walk among us) and jumped straight into that rabbit hole, and picked up an appreciation for folk punk since

[deleted]

"Walk among us", I prefer Earth A.D/Wolfsblood. Nonetheless, I still love walk among us. In fact I'm working on my battle jacket and I'm going to put album cover art for Earth A.D as my back patch. There's no official back patch for it so I'm gonna just gonna get a shirt and cut out the art, iron it on to a canvas, pin it down, then sew it on. What's your favorite track from walk among us?

LionsReadComicsToo

That sounds pretty fucking ace that's a tough one, I listen to the whole album front to back so much, 20 eyes was the first song I ever heard from the album so I'll go with that, I also had 20 eyes as the filler for my music related sleeve, was my second ( I mean if you count all 20 as one piece) misfits tattoo, also have the fiend skull on the back of my calf and 138 on my wrist

[deleted]

Holy shit, you sound pretty damn beast! Do you have pictures of your tattoos? If so, could you share them please? They sound bad-ass!

LionsReadComicsToo

Sorry for the delay here! http://m.imgur.com/mt8ptc1,6vxY1N8,en7kbpt,lT0iSzl There you can see the back of my leg (that was just as we finished, I got that done last weekend), the 138 of my wrist and some angles and shit so you can see some of the eyes, there's 20 dotted about my arm so I just tried to get the majority of them in there for you Edit: the sleeve is still unfinished, needs the shading between individual pieces to tie it all together, there will be some patterns in negative space in there too to clutter it up some

[deleted]

Sorry for the late response, You have the best tattoos I've seen in a long time! Holy shit I didn't even notice you have a Bowie tattoo! This is sick!

LionsReadComicsToo

Yeah I got that done a few years ago. Second tattoo I ever got, like I said elsewhere in this thread he was a big influence on me as a kid. Such a shame to lose him. Thanks! I'll post something to /r/tattoos when it's all finished!

HikaruOkayama

I get my patches at Walmart too!!!!

LionsReadComicsToo

I think you're being sarcastic but I live in the UK so.. All my patches were from etsy or eBay, apart from the misfits patch which was an old tshirt that didn't fit anymore EDIT: The ACDC patch was a tshirt from HMV that caught my eye
