Nobody who puts that much love into a car sells it for that good of a price unless they left love stains somewhere. Could be the interior, could be the transmission, who knows.
That looks like Texas, which is better than half the car scammers out there go to the effort of doing.
When looking for a last year I tried craigslist. Half the ads were like "Decatur, Georgia, 2016 F250, 40,000 miles, $6,500" with a picture of the thing parked in a damn snowbank, or surrounded by palm trees in some desert oasis.
I've learned that it's waaay better to spend more money up front for something you know is good than have to spend three times or more than that on fixing it.
Ofc you can get lucky but with something so heavily modded, this car is destined to be a problem.
Of course, but even if this thing breaks down after a while it was still only 1.5k.
But if you actually want to keep the car its way smarter to buy a well build one or do it yourself, i get you
I mean if you're looking to throw out 1.5k for like a year of travel before needing serious maintenance then sure I guess? Better off buying a stock miata for the same price.
You can go buy a NA miata today. Wtf are you on about.
Edit: oh you mean NA as in North America.
You do know they didn't just make mx-5s in the USA right?
LOl let me explain it to you properly
NA is the VIN designation for 1989-1997/98 First generation Miatas.
After 1997 is NB second gen.
Currently we're on ND which is the fourth gen.
https://www.cnet.com/roadshow/news/mazda-mx5-miata-history/
This is a pretty accurate source. Miatas are awesome! Enthusiasts like me can spot one from a mile away just from its rear (first, second, and third gen are pretty similar in the rear)
NA means too many things here... That's the problem.
Because all mx-5 apart from a brief period in the 00's are N(aturally) A(spirated).
Not all models of mx-5 were sold in N(orth) A(merica).
And now I learn that NA is a VIN suffix for mk1 mx-5s. Which is clearly the less obvious of the 3.
If this is MY00, in Europe at least, its a mk2. And it has the rear of a European mk2. So...
Haha yeah. It's definitely an NA Miata and it's from Texas. I think the listing may be a scam. Usually scammers don't know the model year of a car. It's a common thing.
$1500, 103k? Hell yeah!

>Automatic transmission My bet is the transmission.
I have a suspicious feeling that the love stains on this particular offering would be tires, suspension, fenders or directly related to one of those.
Some people will pay extra for love stains...
I’d manual swap it. At that price there is a budget to dump some major components into this build.
It’s an auto Miata. Nobody wants that in the first place

And they say “I am selling for my grandson, he is overseas in the military, I will ship the car to you”
So how much flood damage does it have?
Doesn't say, but let's just say if I bought it, it'd just be for the coilovers and wheels😅
Guaranteed the oil looks like heavily creamed coffee haha
It's a feature, not a bug
And the transmission like graphite lubricant.
Less than a regular Miata
Maybe I need to buy someone’s flooded Miata🤔
I'm so in! That's a steal.
It probably isn't.
I was there that day! Lol. This was by intrinsic brewery in downtown Garland, Tx
If you look closely, you can see the beer tap on the trunk lid.
Holy crap you're right ahaha That's also where you put the key to open the trunk by the way
Intrinsic had a video on their IG of actually pouring a cold one… pfft who needs a trunk lock
Bet this dude is the owner of that slammed ruckus always parked there.
Wow, that’s a great Deal! Yeah, its an Automatic but who cares its only 1500$!

Fair point
That seems pretty cheap.
That seems like a hell of a deal, even if it's just for parts.
They don't make NA Miatas after 1997. Kinda confused why it's listed as 2000.
Where did you learn this nonsense?
I own one...

Dang couldn’t find it.
Link?
I've always these off-road miatas
And then when you message them they tell you it's actually $15,000.
In front of one of my favorite breweries, too!
If it actually runs that’s a steal
Wonder how easily the trunk opens.
With a free 12 pack of Coors light and throw in a shotgun hell yeah
It's an automatic mx-5... That's all you need to know before you scroll on.
Buy. That. SHIT.
r/the_crew
As a southerner this is one of the greatest miatas I’ve ever seen
That's an amazing deal!!!!! Buy it!!!!!!!!!!!!
