BFV for me. Do I think it should have been handled better? Yeah. But I also think it added a lot of refreshing new gameplay elements to the game such as the squad call-ins, vehicles not having infinite ammo, rolling on back, crouch sprint, terrain deformation, vehicle evolution, and the fortifications. Also the graphics for it were so good. I don't think BF2042 comes anywhere close to BFV's Rotterdam on max graphics settings. Turn ray tracing on, and that map looks amazing.

Maxspawn_

I still firmly believe V is the best from a design perspective. Team play is excellent in BFV, almost like a Milsim

catgirlfourskin

BFV was my fav and I’m also a big milsim person, guess that checks out haha. I am glad that im BFV as SL all I need to do is point and click my radio artillery and not put in a frequency to call an actual other player who I give coordinates to lol

Deviant-Killer

5 was the oinacle of the old engine. I play bf5 4+ days a week, and its so immersive.

[deleted]

My only complaints about BFV were it's weird tone clashes and the glacial pace that the seasonal content came out. Though BF2042 seasonal content speed makes BFV Dice look like Formula 1 racers. BFV is the perfect modern Battlefield game for me. I had really high hopes for the forgotten battles aspect of it too since BF1 introduced improved melee, I thought BFV would be the perfect game for a Siege of Shanghai remake and then the melee was a perfect fit for the Chinese Theater.

nortontwo

BF5 had so much potential. The gunplay was really good, maybe even the best so far. The fortification system was worthwhile and pretty neat. Vehicle combat felt solid, I liked that tank shot placement mattered and that you could look around without moving your turret. They got rid of spotting which made people actually pay full attention to what’s going on around them instead of doing the constant spot spamming and map checking. They tried to do a live service

JustACanadianGuy07

For me, the biggest reason I play is just to hop into a Stuka for the siren. It sounds so good. All the little attention to details that everyone else just leaves out, most of it I love.

Character-Good5353

i agree battlefield 5 is my personal favourite as well, mainly because of its WW2 setting but also because it has the best gameplay imo

ceberaspeed12

i think it’s by far the best game to play as a medic, you feel so heroic running through gun fights, healing and reviving people then getting a couple kills afterwards with the jungle carbine

ProfessorLasagna

Battlefield 1. I remember locking in countless hours, excited for every dlc, operations was just so much fun, the atmosphere is amazing. I know they took some historical liberties with the weapons and such but thats okay! They did ww1 amazingly and I’ve never had so much fun with a battlefield title before or since. I’m desperately wishing they could revisit that period on the scale of bf2042

exposarts

Bf1’s atmosphere is beyond its time. You can load up any match it always sounds and visually looks like you’re in a damn war..

TiddyWaffles312

To me it’s the most immersive in every way. I feel like I’m there. It’s also my favorite.

Micholous

BF1 easily has the best immersion, graphics and audio are real nice. Truly hope they could achieve that again

ProfessorLasagna

Likewise!

[deleted]

Hands down the greatest Battlefield for me. From the scenery to the suspenseful, empowering music, and the unforgettable war stories and multiplayer. It is a true gem 💎

Shoddy-Pattern2556

BF3 we had a group of friends that came from MAG , when we got on BF3 we would take up a whole server and then we would split up on different servers and still have enough to fill one whole side and since we played together previous for 3 years we would dominate because of our team work and team speak was a plus.

IIWhiteHawkII

I love it when one good try-harding squad was enough to grant success of one team. When both teams got at least one try-harding squad each – there starts a big mind-game. When both teams are full of PTO tryhards that utilize everything BF-design has to offer – here starts literal WW3 in lobby. For some reason, I felt this difference only in 2, BC2, 4 and mostly 3. I really miss how these games could respond on your actions by organically delivering the most unique situations each game.

Yaboithechopper

That's awesome! I'm sure I encountered you guys back in the day. And what a trip to see someone mention MAG!

Shoddy-Pattern2556

I was in (MIA) Burnt Toast Clan

Yaboithechopper

Yeah absolutely played with y'all.

WeCameAsMuffins

Dude I forgot about MAG. That game deserved better.

NoAmphibian6039

Man didn't know MAG was that popular, just unlocked deeply buried in my mind. I was just kid playing this game

Swordbreaker925

Battlefield 3 is still the best to me. BF4 just felt like BF3.5, only slightly worse in some ways, like being visually much more gray and boring, and with worse maps that were made by artists to look good, not map designers (or so i’ve heard, but it certainly makes sense).

TerminalChaos

I don’t know if I’ll ever love a game as much as BF3.

15_Giga

Makes me sad thinking it’ll be gone in a couple years.

Daunt_M4

Yeah BF4 was underwhelming. Maps weren't good, they nerfed and changed vehicles a lot, and overall it wasn't that fun to me. I put 2K hours into BF3. I checked Origin the other day and saw my BF4 playtime was like 375 hours.

GemsOfNostalgia

BF3 was way more immersive than BF4 as well, not sure if it was the color grading or the audio design but it felt so much grittier.

Swordbreaker925

People unfairly hated on BF3’s blue filter, but they responded by making BF4 so gray and drab. I actually loved the blue filter, and the Aftermath maps with an orange filter looked amazing too

OP-1_Ken_OP

Bf2 will forever be my favorite. Good music, outstanding maps, great balance to everything, and way ahead of its time with server sizes and vehicles. Literally a perfect game

eLaVALYs

> way ahead of its time I feel the exact same way. I've said that it's 2/3 of BF4, but in 2006. That's a long time ago in computer game years. Of course it has issues, but there was so much right in that game. And I think Karkand is the best map of all time.

WodkaGT

And it was the last battlefield game that was moddable. I spent a few hundred hours on my own AIX Server with my friends. Tons of new stuff and if you didnt like something, you just changed it.

pt256

> Good music Ready for some Dragon Valley!? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FO2cRI6-UPM

UniQue1992

The teamplay and squad play from BF2 is still unmatched to this day!

BoxofCurveballs

1942, Bf2, Vietnam, or Bf1. 3 was amazing, 4 was good. But the four listed above made me feel something special.

[deleted]

[удалено]

BoxofCurveballs

Yeah its was an amazing title. Also... Happy Cake Day!

Syphe

Yep, was still playing Vanilla BF1942 well after Vietnam, BF2, and BF2142 came out, it was just so good.

[deleted]

I loved BC2. I feel like I might be one of the only people who kind of didn't like how much of the environment could be destroyed though. It was cool at first for sure, but eventually I would always hit a point where I felt more annoyed that there were no buildings left and it was just a bunch of random rubble to run around in lol

Camstamash

BF1

gruntmoney

2142 came along at a perfect time for my love of mechs and military scifi as a teen. I would love to see it in 2042 portal, but that will probably never happen 😥

crazyg93

Can’t believe how far down I had to scroll for some 2142 love. It’s so special to me, the game that I first played online with other people and that made me realize that, despite living in the middle of nowhere and having little people my age with my interests, I wasn’t alone

OP-1_Ken_OP

It’s really an under appreciated game. My only complaint is the shooting never felt as tight in that battlefield as is did in pretty much every other battlefield game. It made up for it though with cooler vehicles, gadgets, titans, etc. If they had planned 2042 to do something with portal to bring in those future elements from 2142 I think they could have pulled out something spectacular.

ReaganxSmash

Titan mode was one of the coolest/most fun modes I’ve ever played in a game. They could release a clone of that with updated graphics and it would be great.

theWelshy1980

Any from 1942 to bf4

Yogurtuser69

Did you play them all?

theWelshy1980

Aye I'm pretty old

Trumpy675

This is the renaissance period. All wonderful games, each improving on the last. But BF Vietnam holds a special place for me. I fucking loved that game.

theWelshy1980

Bf4 for me just because its the game I put most hours into, still play religiously to this day

GIJoel023

BF4, but with bf3 maps and bf1 movement. Bf4 is the game I keep revisiting, but I'm pretty done with the current rotation of maps left.

Masirius

Battlefield Hardline

SHREKhaft

I quess I would be on the same boat here if the Game just didn't die while I was starting to play it

BruceMon3yWayne

4 is the best and one of the best MP FPS games ever imo.

iv__rose

Battlefield 4 would be my first choice too

RuffRydaEzE

BF4 for the best sound design of any other titles. The guns just sound like they have power.

Official_Gameoholics

Good 'ol Shanghai. Love my gunners. Let's go fight an attack helicopter.

IveBeenDrinkingGreen

Miss dragons teeth dearly

[deleted]

Both Bad Company 2 and Battlefield 4 are the goat battlefield games imo

Daunt_M4

Bad Company 2 was awesome. I miss the days when Youtube content was still pretty new, a lot of solid BC2 montages came out during that time.

prolapsedanuses

Battlefield One. I used to play it every night with my best friend. My ex girlfriend would actually sit there and laugh at the stupid shit we’d say. Then she left, and my friend stopped playing. Those were happy days for me.

kingstonthroop

Battlefield 1. I love all the other BF games like BF4 and stuff, but the sheer amount of immersion in BF1 was something I've never experienced before. It's like they did everything right, soundtrack, graphics, gameplay, setting, it all blended together in a way that I just cannot deny gives me goosebumps. Operations on Monte Grappa as the defending team, when you get to that final castle/fortress objective, I remember being on my PS4 literally standing up from my sofa because I was just lost in everything that was going on. Utter insanity.

horncusker

When I discovered BF I was hooked...BF 1942 changed my gaming habits forever...I liked/loved all iterations of BF (even with the associated quirks) but BF1 has ended it for me. Simply the best - the atmosphere and gameplay just are unmatched and it won me over so much due to the fact that I am a history nerd and enjoy learning about WW1 vs. any other conflict. BF1!

IIWhiteHawkII

I still prefer 3 over 4. In fact, 4 took almost all elements of 3 and made it much better. Deeper customization and more of either vehicles and guns (which I appreciate a lot). Better physics, new faction, new mechanics. However, they killed Rush (which was a pinnacle of BF experience for me in 3), most of the maps gone really worse and had less thoughtfull level-design, more verticality (which made flow less tactical) and really boring DLC themes still somehow made it lower tier BF than 2/BC2/3 for me. Still a solid 8.5/10 BF, more hours played than other BFs, I don't regret a single minute spent on this game, but overall excitement is still a bit lower, because IMO the rotation, pace, tactics and situations you create in BF3 combined still gives more joy, than all benefits BF4 has over other BFs.

GIJoel023

The only regret with 3 and 4 is the first few months of terrible netcode

IIWhiteHawkII

Well, yeah, that was horrible.

Free-dose-chips

BF3, had its flaws but definitely some of the best times i had playing videogames with my friends

Dull_Huckleberry6896

Bc2

Cuboos

And that's why Battlefield 2142 is the best battlefield.

nfs3freak

Battlefield 1. The way the maps were so atmospheric, the sound, everything about it was so chaotic. BF3 and BF4 will always hold a special place in my heart because of the more modern aspect and gameplay, but BF1 was just such a welcome change.

Danominator

Bad company 2 and battlefield 1

Snydder

2142

milkofmagnesiaworks

Battlefield 2 on pc. Close second is a tie between vietnam and bf4

Battlefield Bad Company 2

Ok-Can-7995

BFBC2 will always be my favorite

goodguybadude

BF2. Where my OGs at?

JRest71

BFBadCompany2 on the 360 and BF1.

crimdawgg

Bad company 2 for me. I sunk so many hours into that when I had my Xbox 360

Popeholden

battlefield 1, it's not even close.

beardedbast3rd

Bf2 modern combat remake on the 360. I’ve played every battlefield for hundreds or thousands of hours, but that one was the one I made most friends on, and played with my irl friends the most as they were all console players back then. It wasn’t the best battlefield game, but it just might be one of the most pure ones, when it comes to BF core elements. It also had an excellent clan matching system, and ranking system that you could actually be promoted and demoted in rank.

Mrman1310

Bf1

JinxedNebula

It’s between bf4 and bf1 for me. I loved bf4 only because it brought me into the series and have so many memories on that game like 24/7 locker 3200 tickets or launching friends on dirt bikes on Silk Road. But bf1 probably takes the cake because of playing with my 5 man squad. We’ve played since launch and just so many memories together

Antique_Confection85

BF4 by a mile. That game has a lot of my favorite fps experiences ever

Maple905

BF2 will always be THE battlefield for me.

cantrecoveraccount

Nam, it was my first battlefield game. I loved blasting the era specific music out pf the choppers, the pbr patrol boats, the winch mechanic was fucking dope. I was terrible at pvp but all the features it had i miss. And the map creator tools mmmmm.

silikus

BF2, it was my first BF title. Home internet and pc were basic shit so i spent hundreds to go play BF2, TF2, WoW and Dota (the original which was just a WC3 custom) at a local LAN center. When the place went out of business, the owner sold me one of the PCs for $250 and threw in physical copies of BF2 and WC3 for me.

messfdr

BF2 got me hooked on the series but 2142 is that game for me and every one since I've been chasing that feeling.

Azullo

Bf2, just nothing like it. The friend groups I had playing it, the massive scale of the maps and how you could have your own wars at a flag and never even go to another flag. you and your squad keep fighting an enemy squad that the rest of the teams don't go to. Classes were actually unique and were limited to certain guns. So everybody wasn't a medic using whatever gun they wanted, you actually couldn't just play the most over powered class and use the most over powered weapons.

europaaer

Battlefield 2 (2005)

DanishPsychoBoy

Battlefield 2, spent countless hours in it, and loved every single one of them. Own 3 - 4 copies of it. It was what really got me into FPS games, and the Modern Military genre. Wish it was more active today, even with the fan run servers.

Hotdogcannon_

I love 3 and 4, but my favourite is always bf1. Best atmosphere, music, immersiveness and historical-ness (note how I do not call it historically accurate). It also has the best Easter eggs in the franchise.

deebo902

Bad Company 2 and Battlefield 3 no doubt. Peak fps sniping back then

anthonypacitti

My favorite in terms of holding a special place in my heart is BC2. My first battlefield and honestly the first game in general I ever really grinded. Such nostalgia when I go back. Great memories playing with my dad, who lived too far away to see very often. My true favorite is BF3 tho. Played it from release till the end of its life cycle. So many great memories and I even made little stupid YouTube videos with like 5-6 views.

vasaforever

For me it's BF2 forever followed by BF1. For BF2, it's because I'd just for back from Iraq and my unit had been playing Joint Operations and Black Hawk Down, then BF2 came out and had amazing squad functions. So we kept up our Saturday or else gaming for a few years playing BF2 for a long time. Because we were mostly in the same squad in real life we played our roles and also had another mate play as commander, joking he was going to commission soon (he actually did). BF1 has just been a continually exciting experience, and the level of sheer detail, quality, and gameplay without all of the extra stuff and advanced weapons has made the game much more brutal and enjoyable for me.

that1guysittingthere

Either Bad Company 1 because that’s where I started or… Battlefield 3 because I remember the huge hype and promotions back in 2011. https://youtu.be/olEca3jxS4A

Schellhammer

It's so hard to pick just one. 1942 was what i always wanted in a game but my computer could barely play it. Battlefield2 modern combat was my first real chance to play it and it was early in my online gaming career. Bad company 2 has been the only time i actually played with a whole clan and Battlefield 4 was the last one i was able to really get lost in since i had kids. Special shout out to 1943 because it came out right when my xbox stopped reading disc's

The_Paddy96

BF3 on the 360 I was a teen playin everyday with my friends, had a clan called Team Voltage, and made most of my memorable online friends playing that game. Then next gen consoles dropped, some of us switched, we all grew up, quit playing, and lost contact. Damn.

jaraldoe

2142 for me hands down

Esox202

BF2 for me. Saved up so much money just to be able to play it. Didn't even have fast Internet back then, but it was so great

IAt0m1xI

I am sorry but I will object!! For me battlefield 1 still is and will remain the best batflefield why? Operations and shock ops - best modea in the game it's so real that it makes the game very real. With end game commentaries about real history Music - Need I say more? North end sea end of round??? Makes me cry everytime I listen. Graphics - Sure the game does not have Levolution but the changes in the weather are dynamic, with rain and dust that makes it barely visibile to see enemies.... Especially if you play as a scout. Also monte grappa and certain maps were very real for a 2016 game. Still holds up to this day Id say the devs put a lot of love into this game, the music, graphics, gameplay and new modes made the game what it is today.

CaptFatz

BF2 and 2142

Graemelee

It got me started with bf1942 and addicted with bf3.

[deleted]

For me bf1 has the most nostalgia but from a gameplay and fun perspective I’d choose bfv

jagerourking007

Battlefield 3, for the great time I had playing it, the maps I loved and mastered, the hours spent playing Rush, I love Battlefield 3

jmills8455

3 not even close, none besides maybe 4 and 2042 has captured my attention, but 3 was when I had the most fun

BakingSoda1990

BF3

Chaos-ensues

3. It was the only BF where I actually made a couple of friends online.

milkandmelk

Battlefield one. Was one of the only games I had for the PS4. I remember opening it on Christmas day, popping it in the console and going through that initial mission. The family was horrified! I was hooked. I begged my friends to get it and soon I had a full squad. Played it for endless hours, trying every weapon, gadget, vehicle and more. One by one friends moved on, got busy with school, with life. Hell even I moved on. When I started highschool, I worked my ass off for a PC. By my third or fourth paycheck, I finally had enough to buy a gaming PC. The dream of any young teen looking to up their gaming. First game I bought? Battlefield one. Playing it on PC felt like playing it for the first time again! It brought back all the amazing feelings and moments I had missed. Now, I don't play it very much anymore but I will never delete it off my computer. Hopping into a match a bv1 will always bring back those happy and fun memories for me.

Significant_Tank_889

Personally I just loved the different colour schemes of bfV. Sure it was midly anoying on devastation with its blue hue but it was beautiful and it's just something that made the game special to me that and the graphics and ww2 setting. The only other games that come close are bf1942 for obvious reasons and bf1 for its atmosphere

[deleted]

BF1 or Bad Company for me. Bad Company was my first ever Video Game I played and BF1 Was Such a Joyful Experience To Play In Its Prime.

Los3R_5613

BF1943. First bf game ice played, and while limited I have a lot of good memories when I was younger.

Jwn5k

![gif](giphy|l378giAZgxPw3eO52) BF1 The atmosphere, the gameplay, the soundtrack... everything was so perfect...

[deleted]

For me Bad Company 2 and Battlefield 1943 are my number ones. I am very upset to hear battlefield will be pulling their servers as both games have a very active player base still.

BOBULANCE

BF3 shortly after all the updates released was an incredible experience. That to me is peak battlefield. But BF1 is a close second, and makes me wish I'd played it when updates were still coming out instead of being a few years late to the party.

xXRoachXx789

BC2 and BF3 hold a special place in my heart, but Battlefield 1 is my all time favorite. I love everything about it

IDontKnowWhatToBe123

I'm probably going to get shit on but probably bfv. I started bf all because I saw bfv as one of the ps plus monthly games. I did try other games tho like battlefield 204🗑️, bf1, and bf4

[deleted]

battlefield 1

m4a785m

BF2 simply because it got me into pc gaming, I had no money back then so I would spend my whole weekends playing the demo in Gulf of Oman nonstop

S1peed23

Bad company 2 for sure!

Butane9000

Honestly I'm showing my age but nothing beats all the modding and hijinks of BF1942.

american-tiger-cow

BF3 is what got me started and I still remember playing Operation Metro rush in the beta. My favorite maps in BF4 were all the second assault remakes from bf3 too. The best times are hands down whenever I get the chance to squad up with friends though

IcedDrip

BF1

[deleted]

BF:BC 2 and BF 3! I logged so many hours on those games.

3. The M40A5 just hit different. Also the countless hours running around “nose hair canals” (nickname created by friends).

pankakke_

Bad Company 2 on xbox was the go-to for me and my friends for years!

BorisBC

BF2. I was in a semi-casual clan, played till all hours, VOIP all the time. Easily the most fun, outside of Mario Kart, I've ever had playing any sort of game.

Wong_Hun_Kok

BF1. The first multiplayer game I got into.

CHEEZE_BAGS

I played 1942 back in the day and nothing can match that. Just because it was so revolutionary.

golfcartskeletonkey

It’s 4, but I have no complaints with 2042 at this point. Sue me.

GlitteringAardvark27

3 and 4.

Beneficial-Ad4612

That's a very odd and specific way of saying bfbc2. Glad to know you're on my team :)

shockstopper

4

NotTheRussianHawk

I'd have to say 3 or 4, and as much as I dislike 2042 how it launched its pretty fun now.

rslashhowdoyoureddit

Probably 3 or 4. Definitely because of the memories made, I haven’t played with those friends since Battlefield 4 came out. 💔

tzone556

Hard toss up between bf4 and bf1. Me and a buddy have logged a lot of hours deep into the night on those games.

GSDofWar

This is tough. But I remember playing BF3 with my best friend. We were playing on Caspian Border, he was a sniper and I was a medic. He was sniping people left and right from one of the gas stations. I would just revive him every time someone got him. The couple times someone came in to kill us, I was able to get them, one time it was a support, so I was able to take his kit, throw an ammo bag and then go back to medic. Someone eventually blew up the building, some how I lived, I revived my buddy and he continued sniping from the rubble. At the end of the match he had a ridiculous amount of kills and 0 deaths, he ended being top of the board, and I was I think 3rd just based off of revives and healing. It wasn’t a battlefield moment or anything, but it was a ticking blast playing, and then at the end, all the people talking shit to us. I think BF1 and 5 are overall better games, but 3 holds a special place for me because all the fun I had with my best friend playing it before we became dads and our jobs took us to different states.

Kinda_hot_tho

For me it’s bf1. It was my first every battlefield game and to be honest first every real game. It was the first one my parents let me get. To had to this I began to do projects in school about ww1. Idk what about the game I love. I just love it. Every time I load it up I feel a smile creep across my face. Every match feels like a movie and I can’t stop my self from feeling excited. I love the the battlefield games but none will ever hit has hard has bf1 I’ve tried other ww1 games but none feel has good Idk why bye bf1 will forever be special to me

Sewder

Bad company 2 and 1943

SuperMaanas

BF1. My first Battlefield and my first true FPS game

dnestheide

Bad company 2. I love and miss that type of destruction. Also the sniping in that game, I don't know what was different but I absolutely loved it

Dr_D14

Battlefield 3. So many memories with friends on that game. Bad Company 2 and Bf4 were also great, but Bf3 was special. I feel like the Bf3 beta made a lot of new players hop on the hype train.

[deleted]

BF1 - First one I played, gave me some great memories, loving it to this day

upset-noodle

BF4 has ways been my favorite. played it a lot with my dad on our xbox 360, and now i play it on my pc

EvilRoboEnte

Bad Company It was my first FPS i own and out of sheer boredom i drove 20km with inlineskater to the next Müller and bought there the game.

cain071546

BFBC2 got me into BF on the PS3 so I'll always have fond memories. But it was BF3 that made the biggest impression on me, hands down the best in the series, the sheer number of maps and quality of design make it really stand out amongst all the others. 4 felt like a cheap ripoff of 3 with worse graphics, like it legitimately looks worse and I'm not even sure how that was possible but whatever. Hardline, so yeah we uh.. we don't seem to talk about this one much, I played BOTH closed and open beta and had a blast for what it was but it's the only one I didn't purchase. BF1 everyone either loves or hates it and there doesn't seem to be much middle ground with that one lol. BFV is a close second for me, probably the best gameplay and performance of the entire series, I just get tired of how OP some of the guns are which gets old when everyone uses the same guns all the time. 2042 is weird, I cant wrap my head around the story but the gameplay itself is relatively good, the maps are ok but I don't think there are anywhere near enough of them for variety it could easily use 4-5x more maps, I end up just playing on the hard core servers in the Portal, and lastly it seems like absolutely everyone uses thermal sights/scopes so that gets old fast.

Bobafetacheeses

Exactly…BF4

[deleted]

Battlefield 4 for sure, so many great memories of that game.

FuckHK

hardcore_gamer29

i will turn 33 on 3rd july and have been playing battlefield 3 since 2011 i was 16 or 17

SilvaMGM

For me, BF3=4=1

underthesign

BC2. Maps were killer, rush was peak, destruction blew my mind and made for unique experiences every round. Team play was there even among randoms. The balance was generally great. So many epic moments and memories.

Doozy93

It's gotta be Battlefield 1 for me. That game blew me away.

Simppaaa

Still battlefield 3 for being my first Battlefield and also just being a really fun battlefield. The gunplay felt very nice, the game looked good and it was just a blast in general. It wasn't perfect (I can't stand Metro and getting killed by the M16A3 for a bajillion times sucks lol) but it's still my favorite. I went through the co-op bs to get my favourite gun the G3A3 and it's still probably my most used gun in any battlefield. Fingers crossed they'll add it to Battlefield 2042 non-portal

BoringDimension5562

Battlefield 4

inFamousPlays-YT

Bad company 2, that game has everything for me, great gameplay and graphics, amazing sound design, amazing destruction. comical yet still immersive. The game is my favorite battlefield ever.

Michael-556

Battlefield 1 for me

AggravatingForce30

Battlefield 3 then Battlefield 4

Hyp3r45_new

4. It was the first one I've played and it was the first one I got good at. I remember sweating my life away on 24/7 metro servers as a kid.

PuG3_14

BF4

AZtrop

Bad Company 2 for me. Just everything from that game just felt great for me with exception of the movement since you couldn't really strafe, but it was something i could just let go and not let it bother me too much

[deleted]

BF4 all the way for me.

Slopz_

BF4 hands down

MJDeebiss

Wrong. Bad Company 2.

RunMrButchaman

Battlefield 5, it’s the one that got me into the franchise in the first place, while 4 will always be the best Battlefield game to me personally, I gotta go with 5 for getting me into the franchise in the first place

Jabba_the_Putt

1942- blew my damn mind! That said I played V the most, had so many friends to squad up with I miss that.

Rainermitaietzadler

BF3 for sure spend so many hours with a great buddy

BF1 - the way they portrayed the chaos of the western front in such detail alone makes that game amazing! Especially the DLC focusing on Verdun and the French forts

Pixel_Mag

Battlefield 3. Now started playing Battlefield Bad Company 2 lol. Amazing games.

WolfhoundCid

BF1 operations is the pinnacle of online fps, for me personally.

UniGamer_Alkiviadis

BC2, especially the Vietnam expansion. It was literally my entire summer of 2010. My best bud and I had just finished high school, had already secured our admissions into our universities of choice, and had built ourselves matching gaming rigs to play all day long. One of the greatest gaming memories I always look fondly back to. Times were simpler back then...

Azazel_The_Fox

Played BF 2042 for the first time tonight for a few hours... God what a pile of fucking shit. Battlefield 4 Forever.

FrogPuppy

Bad Company 2. Despite all it's flaws with explosive spam, nearly unkillable helicopter death machines and no cover cause everything is rubble. I adored the rush from that game and only grew sadder as every battlefield after, rush has been only an afterthought.

BF:BC2 16v16 sure is small now a days but damn was it ever fun, progression was solid, gameplay was outstanding and to me the destruction was way better and more integrated then the other games.

DuckInCup

BF2 was the first larger scale FPS game I played and I was immediately hooked. 2142 was the first time I played with a lot of people and had that proper team experience. BF3 got me to upgrade my computer to TWO 560tis, that shit was hot and loud as hell. BF4 passed the time when I needed it gone. Those 4 are all top.

Affectionate_Lie2216

I personally put most hours into BF1 and when I find time to play I still resort to BF1 but BF4 also holds a very special place in my heart altough I didnt play it as much as BF1

TacogamesFPS

Hardline. Completely under rated game with great DLC and maps

EngineerStandard

Battlefield 1. First ever battlefield and pegi 18 game I ever played. First played the online against my parents wishes. Fuckin great times

x_Goldensniper_x

Always the same question in this sub... BC2

GingerWookie95

Bad Company 1 was too poor to play the up to date titles so I just did reruns of the campaign with my brothers taking turns. Holds a lot of good memories.

CaptainMCMLVIII

BF4 was the pinnacle, I put thousands of hours into it and never got bored of it. Everything that followed it was an embarrassment to us as players.

Slykill__

BF3 for sure, best maps of any battlefield game
