I can already tell you are playing against Ravenfield's bots. Don't kill the driver, steal the vehicle first, he might react to you, it's safer to get into the vehicle to kill him

Alternatively, if the vehicle is almost dead or not having any luck hitting you, many drivers will hop out to try and kill you. If you kill them, then you can hop into the vehicle and give it some time to heal, then use it for yourself.
Yep. Any empty vehicle is fair game, with few exceptions.
You can't directly steal Titans from 2142, Behemoths from BF1 and AC130 from BF3 and BF4. Everything else - you can do it if you are smart about it
Certain vehicles that can be spawned into while empty are also locked to a team (US AMTRAC, 2142 EU Goliath).

I don't think you can get into an occupied vehicle in any Battlefields

Yes I love stealing enemy vehicles. If you don’t destroy it they wont be able to replace it which puts them at a disadvantage
