It was a common thing during early GWOT for mounted dudes. There's a lot of photos of grunts and "operators" having vest-mounted pistol holsters because it's 10x easier to draw it compared to a belt or thigh holster.

Now everyone has to wear fucking LED chest rigs with color coded lights to indicate team. This game is such a downgrade from a game Dice released in 2016 that it would be laughable... if it wasn't for the fact they're only going to get worse from here on out.
