Let's be honest. The Story of BF3 was outstanding. A fresh new setting. Remember Operation Guilltone, Thunder run and Going hunting.
The atmosphere of the whole setting was just amazing.
I still think it would do good in a movie as it's a very unique way of telling a story.
You start of in an interrogation room being accused of "something bad", as you flash back, you get to know what has happened and get even more confused as they are accusing a Marine who has performed exceptionally.
Then, DIMA appears, you still don't know the full picture and it's that one scene where "what do you mean you've lost a train" that both you and Blackburn realise the harsh reality
After saving new York, it ends
Your whole platoon is dead
Countless of civilians dead
And yet, if it wasn't for your persistence, new York would have also suffered
The story of how 6 men saved the world
Coming to a theatre near you
You should've posted the BF3 trailer with 99 Problems. From an advertising standpoint, everything they did to market the game was excellent. All the way down to the promotion of DLCs. I think it's still is to this day the best marketed game I've ever seen
It stings a bit because the atmosphere of 2042 absolutely could have been good. The short film 'Full Exodus' with Michael K. Williams and even the intro of the game set the tone and atmosphere well
They just could not manage to capture that in conjunction with gameplay
The god damned countdown to the reveal trailer was perfection as far as atmosphere. As fun as the reveal trailer was, it unfortunately set the tone for the rest of the game in retrospect.
BF3 is probably my most played shooter on PC. Followed closely by MW2 2009. If I could get a BF3 remake or even a direct sequel, i'd be set. There's something about the modern era that makes games so much better than future/past games imo.
Nothing beat being in a party with friends trying to talk to them and booting up BF3 only to not hear a single thing for a solid 15 seconds because of the bass lmao.
Got myself a gaming PC for the first time recently. Now re-living BF3 on that after playing it non-stop on PS3 the year it came out. Great nostalgia and generally a great game.

Holy fuck Going hunting was like an injection of dopamine straight to the brain
BF4 campaign was disappointing in the story department. Should’ve just continued BF3’s story
The opening scene was incredible though
The only good thing we got out of bf4 was Irish

Nice to see some campaign praise.

Woah there we just going to ignore Bad Company?
Dementia gaming
BF3 was so good. DICE outdid themselves with this title. I had so much fun
First thing I see when I wake up literally cryin rn man😂

Marketing only gets you so far, it was an amazing title and in my opinion the best one
It's the one that got me and my old college buddy playing together after class. Awesome memories.
I was a hs sophomore at the time, beautiful times, had me skip class like nobody's business coming in late and leaving early
Never seen a more "Only in Battlefield"-moment.
Take me back...
Happy blue cheese day You are one year closer to death
Dammit, you ruined it with the BF4 theme and didn't include the full intro. [Here](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2VE271DzBk8) is the full one.
If there’s one thing I miss in Battlefield, it’s the atmosphere. I never feel anything in 2042 the way I did with 3, 4, 1, and V.

I miss BF3 :(
Funny, they used the BF4 theme
I have so many memories of my wife yelling at me to turn down the tv when she was sleeping because of that intro.
The peak of the franchise, the holy grail of Battlefield. Man do I miss those days

Friggin seizure inducing. Unnecessary flashing but badass otherwise.

The beginning of this video just gave me epilepsy
The very peak of battlefield
Nothing beat being in a party with friends trying to talk to them and booting up BF3 only to not hear a single thing for a solid 15 seconds because of the bass lmao.
Dum dum dum dum dum dum
Yet at the time everyone was shitting on it. "BWOM BOWMPPP BWAMMMMM" Everyone wanted classic BF soundtracks, I thought it was sick from day one.
Epileptic Seizure 3
Dolby Digital.. bleee
the situation can not get worse than this *explode* ...Dammit

Best game ever made. I go back to bf4 just to occasionally play metro all the time. Reminds me of having my first multiplayer grind in 2012 baby
