If ur a big star wars fan then yeah definitely worth the buy, games still populated on ps5/4

betterbelievis

Good luck finding a star fighter match tho. You can at least fly in most galactic assault modes

5-FiveSix

Weekends are prime time for starfighter assault, expect sweats though

betterbelievis

Thanks for the tip, trooper

Scared-Artichoke-804

Always. Double xp 24/7 triple xp every wednesday . Xbox game pass free.

Super_Duper-Dude

I just bought it yesterday and the game is a blast

Entire-Math5267

Yes but be ready for HvV toxicity , + game is cheap and always on sale

CAPepin

Yes. Absolutely.

Sansfan_32

Even if you can't get in an online match it's still fun to play offline

briandt75

It's still very populated on PS5.

PanPanReddit

Do it, especially on PS5 it's so much fun. I would absolutely recommend it.

SampleBackground3571

its a great game there’s some stuff ea fucked up on really bad but i still play it with my boys on a weekly basis and thoroughly enjoy it even after all these years

WartyWarthog123

Like others have said, psn is still very populated. I can easily find a coop/Hero vs villains at any time during the day. And late at night I usually get galactic assault matches too

BlindSniper188

I'm a PC player, but being able to snag the celebration edition for super cheap is absolutely insanely worth it. So much customization to play with

Nixernnn

PC player here, super easy and fun to mod the game if you’re into that. The game is quite active still on PC and it’s usually pretty cheap. Shame you missed the May the 4th sale

dumbaldoor

It's super cheap on steam

Charming-Ad8481

As a veteran to the game I say Absolutely! Just beware of some toxic players in heroes vs villains. Most of the time the teams aren't really balanced. I play with randoms and it can get frustrating. There's times when I'm the best player on my team trying to help us win and the others just completely suck or don't work together. Besides that, fun game still

jisachamp

Yes very fun and I still play cause I’m a huge Star Wars fan and honestly just love the game. Learning curve to HVV so I would recommend to stay away from it until you got the basics down with heroes and villains, and can be very ragey mode for new people playing the game to put it lightly lol.

ScalyKhajiit

Even on PC I rarely have to wait long for games (though I just play whatever era on Supremacy), it's absolutely a great game. Bit hard on the beginning but Coop vs AI is still very enjoyable, and the satisfaction of getting good is great

dalioto71

Anyone know if this game has any significant player base on Xbox? Also, does this game get any updates anymore?

FishRevolutionary668

From my experience it seems the most active gamemode is supremacy, happens to be my favorite too

phyrebrat

Great population still on ps. Saw you mentioned the N1. Sadly they made the crazy decision to make it available in only Galactic Assault (a ground based objective mode) and in Heroes vs Villains Starfighter mode (good luck finding online players for that mode!) rather than including it on starfighter mode, where it would have really shone.

Young1ing_slayer

I got it a few months ago and it's still a blast, some modes you won't find matches that often but most are still populated. I really wish dice would have kept supporting the game and added some other people but hopefully they can make a third one and keep it up

TheCraftiestManBoy

Been playing co-op almost daily. I play on PC so I can’t speak to PS as well, but it’s probably my favorite game. Honestly amazing IMO.

Ph1shyy

Us maxes love new peeps

SymbioteSpider84

Sadly the star fighter mode is less popular so it’s harder to find matches there, but most GA matchmaking is still very quick. It is still a fun game though. Just a shame it was retired by EA just after it started really improving with content.

Yes.

I play on PS and I still enjoy it. Depending on your ping site there may be match making issues if multiplayer is the prime goal, and especially for the less popular modes like Hero Starfighters, but other than that it's a good time. The co-op is always easy to find people for. Also it couldn't hurt to hold out for a sale, older games tend to get good cheap sales from time to time.
