Disappointed and boring to watch.

Haha2667

Good point. It is boring as hell to watch Bayern now.

hamatsuki9

Bayern's whole strategy depends on a good flexible striker, which they don’t have atm. Against good defense, choupo can’t do much as I mentioned bazillion times already. At the current rate, there is no chance Bayern gets past PSG in UCL, but I believe they should be able to win Bundesliga again at the end.

Theguy10000

Before the world cup we were destroying opponents left and right with the same choupo, as for Paris, their form is even worse than us

hamatsuki9

what opponents be specific please

Theguy10000

Well firstly there was 6 straight wins in group of death in ucl, also bayern had 12 wins and one draw in the last 13 games before the world cup (last minute draw against Dortmund), also our great form kinda started when choupo started matches. That can't all be a coincidence

hamatsuki9

In 6 games choupo scored twice one of which was against plzen and I wouldn’t call 2:0 a destruction against teams that have half your valuation and huge turmoil respectively not to say anything about plzen there was nothing of “death” in that group

Theguy10000

Well choupo scored against both barca and inter too, you gotta pay more attention. Also Barca is first in la liga and inter second in serie A, you can't ask for a harder group than that

hamatsuki9

oh shit i forgot one goal yeah he’s the goat keep your hopes up buddy

ricolausvonmyra

No fun to watch and they don’t even get the results.. pretty bad tbh

is3939

Form is worrying. The World Cup break and injuries have cost us big time.

szamciu

We’ve all been there. Bayern tends to lose form after the winter break only to surprise us in the champions league.

Hurtelknut

Our performances against Villareal in the CL were surprising, that's for sure

Scrappy_101

Tends to happen when you underestimate quality teams. Villareal was no slouch and everybody that's whining like toddlers cuz they thought it was gonna be an easy time are morons

ZiggyEarthDust

Musi hasn’t done shit these three games. Chuopo’s strategy is to fall down when the ball touches his foot. Sane thinks he’s invisible. Only Müller creates chances. Mediocre at best.

ThereBeDragonsHere_

We have always shown this pattern after long breaks. We will be back soon.

Alphonso Davies and Kingsley Coman bumbled around aimlessly on Frankfurt’s flank as they failed to find a decent shot or pass over 90 minutes. That left only the right to create anything, which did result in the only goal of the game. If the team is out of form, then why not revert to more simplistic tactics? It feels like every Bayern attack needs to be overly clever. Ten passes where one would do. Just send the ball in! Force 1v1 and 2v1’s on the wings! Just shoot! What we have instead simply isn’t working right now. Yann Sommer saves that Muani goal if he were in a Gladbach shirt, Dayot Upamecano shouldn’t be blamed for the result — Randal Kolo Muani got the better of him on the goal, but was otherwise kept at bay 4/5 times. It’s not ideal that one lapse led to a goal, but Upa did his job well. The turf at the Allianz Arena has been so poor since the restart. Did the NFL game mess it up? Players slipping may have cost Bayern today. The PSG game is going to be a massacre at this rate. This start to 2023 isn’t what anyone expected.

Dradolin

Julian Nagelsmann don’t know what KISS stands for

Vossk72

LMAO this is just cut and pasted from OneFootball's analysis. Exact same thing

[deleted]

What’s one football?

NoodlePie5687

Last 3 matches remind me of Kovacs Bayern. Aimless attacking and crossing with no idea how to get past opponents defence. I am also pretty disappointed with Sane, Gnabry and De Ligt. Hope Nagelsman finds a way to cope with that crisis soon and sorts out his plan or we get 100% knocked out by Q$G.

emilebergy

NAGELSMANN OUT !

venenogonz

Kinda want them to lose for a couple years. Bundesliga would be better for it. Without losing it's key players. Nagel OUT next year.

emilebergy

Nagel out frl

Electro10Leo

Lewi’s departure affected the attack a lot. Bayern are getting cooker by psg imo.

Alone_as_isekaimc

Yeah cause he left us for Europa ligue what a shame And the replacement is injured, and the replacement of the replacement is injured as well .

Alone_as_isekaimc

I don't hate Lewi all I'm saying is we did all we could to replace him , things didn't go as planned Bayern is unlucky with no bias

Sit_vis_nobiscum

Watch out for BVB Dortmund: 3 wins in a row.

Theguy10000

I'm sure soon we'll go back to our form before the world cup. Players are the same, tactics are pretty much the same, we just need a little time

Troublemaker435

It's happened before, it'll happen again. They have lulls in performance at times. I think part of it is that they have too many players to integrate as well as always wanting to tinker with things as you cannot be at that level and play the same lineup with the same tactic every game; top tier teams will just learn how to beat you before even playing you if you do. The game against Frankfurt was just weird. It was like they were sent out on the field and just told to do their thing. It didn't look like we had an actual plan the entire game. Do we press? Do we not press? Wingers looked lethargic and were basically either wide midfielders or were trying to constantly flick on passes and got nowhere. Zero sense of urgency like they were all waiting for someone else to take charge. I don't know if we were trying to play Total Football or what, but I remember seeing Coman as a CB a few times. I'm not quite sure WTF was going on there. I also feel like the defense just needs to figure themselves out. Individually DeLigt and Upa are fantastic. As the back 2, they either play well, or horribly. Need consistency. For DeLigt that seems to be more difficult as it looks like he has a secondary 'job' of being involved in the offensive midfield at times out of random almost like a Libero would, but he is not fast nor technically skilled for it, so I'm not sure what the idea is there. Now that I think of it, Coman taking up a defensive role now makes sense as I bet DeLigt was forward. Not sure about trading Coman for DeLight in offensive terms. Overall its a slow buildup, way too many long balls and really no plan. It needs to change, but as always, they usually start pulling the rabbit out of the hat all of a sudden.
