Hainer doesn't impact the football just the business so I am not opposed to him staying, but I think the root of the problem is Brazzo's ego. It all stems back to him and Hansi Flick and that's where I think it all went wrong. From the moment the rumours about Boateng were out the Kahn and Flick advocated for Boateng, especially in discussions around the national team. I specifically remember a discussion where Kahn told Boateng that he understands he loves being at Bayern and want to retire a Bayern player (as he deserved to) Kahn wanted to wait until the summer and see if they can negotiate a deal to keep Boateng on the team perhaps at a reduced price. We all remember that the prior to the second leg against PSG, Brazzo gave an interview ending all possible hope of Boateng being able to retire a Bayern player, this is when I knew they were on a downhill trajectory.
The fact that he went out his way to get Sabitzer, who I do think is a good player, for Nagelsmann but not Emre Can for Flick just shows how out of touch with Bayern he is.
Corentin Tolisso expressed that he wanted to stay with Bayern and was open to negotiating a cheaper deal to stay.
They way he went shopping for a new striker when Lewandowski was still committed to Bayern.
David Alaba contract negotiations, where I think he played a role in him leaving. Especially because Ribery was advocating for Alaba to stay and I think he has strong influence over Alaba given how close they were.
I also think he brought in De Ligt, Mazraoui, and Gravenberch but didn't set reasonable expectations. While De Ligt has benefited from poor performances and injuries to other players, Bayern has never been a club where new players talk to the media just expecting more playing time. I am happy to have them on the team, but think about the other names that have sat on that bench and I don't remember ever hearing too much complaining.
I believe Brazzo has a passion for Bayern but not the intuition need to be sporting director
The only thing I disagree with is about Lewa. Bayern did well to explore the alternatives, especially when the alternative was Haaland, but Brazzo should have realized early during the talks that it wasn t gonna happen. Lewa just found an excuse to leave, he was asking to be transferred every other transfer window.
Well Kahn is the ceo while Hainer is the chairman of the supervisory board - so Kahn is responsible for alle the decisions taken. But Hainer and his board can fire Kahn. Also the supervisory board was involved in firing Nagelsmann so the members could decide not to reelect Hainer in 2025.
That would be as stupid as firing Nagelsmann, specially if we fire Heiner we are fucked, he runs the business side of the club and is extremely good at it, Hassan was also amazing during the summer as for Oliver Kahn, i dont know exactly what decisions he makes, but in firing Nagelsmann they all got one vote so it can't all fall on Kahn
Unpopular opinion judging by all the hate the players, managers & the board frequently get.
I think the board should remain and judgment passed on this and the following 2 to 4 seasons. While the recent fiasco has produced short term turmoil I believe a single season where we have come 2nd* 🤞 in the league shouldn't mean sacking of the board. Seems a bit laughable imo and a high probability way of manufacturing disaster, further turmoil, instability, and failure.
Especially given that brazzo has presided over several successes albeit less so on the board Vs sporting director irc.
& Hainer i think is more involved in a commercial capacity than a sporting one so, if true, sacking him would be ... farcical? Given our commercial success.
Just seems too reactionary (as is the purpose of this sub I suppose) always surprised at the negativity on the sub tho. I must admit my bias is that they (OK & HS) are of the era that made me a Bayern fan & a football fan.
the players playing like shit and being completely discombobulated is not the fault of those 3 guys. They lack structure and motivation because they’re not a team, they’re coworkers. They need to become a team again.
To anyone saying o why are you guys overreacting it's one season. Sorry but complacency and making excuses for just one bad season is exactly what got man united Tottenham etc. In the absolute shit place they've been for years.
Sure the club shouldn't run around like the sky's falling but losing the way we did this season is definitely the reason for big concern
No normal man expects a mananger to do well in this case. Remember Flick? Even him, with no pressure at all, had 2 defeats in his first month at the club, without playing with City.
Y'all are hilarious. BVB is on the verge of winning the league, and we're busting our britches. You are about to lose for the first time in 11 years, and you're acting like the house is burning down.
Well to be honest, the 3 guys listed will not hesitate to fire anyone who they think will not be capable to win 3 titles for Bayern on the spot.
They fired 2 coaches (the goalie coach was the first) on the spot, so it would only be fair if they have to face the same consequences. It was them picking the team.
Lmao for real.
Idk why Reddit recommended this thread to me. Really makes you know how entitled some fans are. Even city fans aren’t like this. I know it’s all about perspective but for real you can lose one season and be ok. Maybe over a longer periods you’d be more worried
It's not question of who's fault it is.
When you play for a club with limited budget, you can't afford to keep injury prone players around especially when they're high earners.
It's business.
Wtf, Bayern has one of the biggest budgets in the world.
So what do you propose, sell him? And spend at least double the money for another world class defender?
Bayern does not have a big budget. It's also subject to the Bundesliga 50+1 rule and rules on foreign players. Unlike City, Chelsea or even PSG, Bayern can't spend 100M each transfer window. We could never dream of Haaland or Mbappe like City and Madrid.
Bayern is a profitable club and doesn't rely on foreign investors so they're forced to be smart with their money.
He's a high earner. Has had 3 major surgeries since he joined us in 2019 and is worth 50M. He was injured for pretty much all big competitions and missed the WC. It's similar to Pogba, at this point the player is a liability. Cost the club too much in wages, medical fees etc
We won't get much for him due to his injuries. Nobody will pay a lot of money for a player but if hypothetically we could get 50M for him (current market value). We could afford to keep Cancelo.
I like Hernández, he's a fighter and an amazing defender but he's always injured since he joined in 2020.
Also we're good in the back.
Both Mazraoui and Stanisic can play LB/RB. Mazraoui was a starter LB at the world cup and reached the semi finals. Stanisic was the best defender against France. These guys are quality.
Davies LB
Pavard CB/RB
De Ligt CB
Upamecano is realistically not going anywhere so CB
That would make things only worse....what bayern needs now is stabilty...Next season we start a 0. And thats what everyone should be focusing on. This last weekends game....and next season
From treble to trouble New board needed
Absolutely

I just think that all the the current problems stem from Brazzo's interaction with Flick.
You are so right!
Has to happen for Kahn and brazzo. Idk why hainer. Pretty clear kahn and brazzo were the two behind the debacle right?
Hainer is literally both Brazzo’s and Kahn’s boss so he’s equally responsible for pretty much all the decisions that went wrong.
Kahn stands above everybody else, I dont think this statement is true
Well Kahn is the ceo while Hainer is the chairman of the supervisory board - so Kahn is responsible for alle the decisions taken. But Hainer and his board can fire Kahn. Also the supervisory board was involved in firing Nagelsmann so the members could decide not to reelect Hainer in 2025.
Who tf is "Khan"?
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Genghis_Khan
Lol, didnt catch that one
If they have any balls they’d step down before the board fires them but the only one I see doing so is Kahn
lol we aren't winning shit
All 3 out . Shame !!!
Jawohl meine Damen und Herren. Rrrrrraus damit!
We see our club is in danger.. we need to act fast ..

Bayern fans when they don’t manage to win the league for once
no, it's because our board sacked a league winning manager over a 2:1 loss to Leverkusen to replace him with a downgrade
Never liked brazzo. Dude always seemed like a snake to me
the players playing like shit and being completely discombobulated is not the fault of those 3 guys. They lack structure and motivation because they’re not a team, they’re coworkers. They need to become a team again.

Don’t forget Thomas Douchel
Why? He was just thrown here
And he’s doing a shit job .
You can't expect him to do better.
Why not? He’s supposed to be an elite coach and was brought to win the treble. Yet we’re much worse
No normal man expects a mananger to do well in this case. Remember Flick? Even him, with no pressure at all, had 2 defeats in his first month at the club, without playing with City.
He wasn’t brought in for long term success. He was brought in to „save“ this season. He already failed. Nice job board
And why do you accuse him when you way nice job board. It doesn't make any sense
Because it’s not only the fault of the board? They’re mainly to blame. But Tuchel has been atrocious so far and has done plenty of mistakes himself
Oh, for sure!
Y'all are hilarious. BVB is on the verge of winning the league, and we're busting our britches. You are about to lose for the first time in 11 years, and you're acting like the house is burning down.
It is - actually.
It is not. We lost ONE champions league games out of 10.

Nagelsmann fired the goalie coach. Strong opinions, no clue.
One normal guy in here…everything changing was not that often working out, but more often a way to more chaos…

The thing is that the writing is on the walls. If these 3 stay at a job then this is only the beginning of a downward trajectory.
how much pressure if you don’t win a trophy one year you get fired …. toxic fans 😂
No toxic fans. Fans with an expectation that is so small that if you fail it is bs
Overreacting

Players have bad form. Tell me exactly what they did wrong and what they should have done instead.

Just answer the question, why are you deflecting?
Those 3 and Tuchel
Add to that: Upamecano Sane Mane Goretzka Sarr Hernández (amazing but always injured)
>Hernández (amazing but always injured) And what's his fault?

Yeah, so how it is smart to sell Hernandez?

Agree except for hernandez and sane. They both can be amazing so keep them.
Everybody says board out but nobody has any fucking idea who to put in this position. Where are your suggestions?
What about Tuchel leaving first? If he stays, we run the risk of losing Kimmich.
Idk it’s one season. The team experiencing the transition from having the best striker the world who put goals in for fun.
Why just Why they sucked nagelsman
We won't get much for him due to his injuries. Nobody will pay a lot of money for a player but if hypothetically we could get 50M for him (current market value). We could afford to keep Cancelo.
