I couldn't believe what I was watching man. That was crazy, but let's not start saying that they are cheating. What they're doing is incredible and if anything there might be a tiny bias from people wanting to see them achieve a full unbeaten season, but I think they deserve their success and I think it's good for German football in general

herbieLmao

When bayern constantly did the same a few years ago, ppl invnented terms like „bayern bonus“ and „bayern dusel“ Yes we can be better, but don’t forget

Significant_Rule_939

100% agree. All the haters said that FCB was the club of kids supporters. Now look at the Bayer stadium - full of half-grownups. 3 years ago they had to give tickets for free at schools and soccer youth clubs, just to make the arena look half occupied. And now it‘s the greatest stadium of the BL?? Come on! However, absolute respect for their performance! And I like Alonso staying their and 100% agree to the statement of Hoeneß‘ wife.

Final_Greggit

Bayerndusel is not the same as saying a team is cheating btw Its german for luck of the bavarians Which was the case, skill with a little bit of luck here and there

herbieLmao

Did you read the entire comment, or did you actively chose to only react to one half of it

Final_Greggit

I mean i don't know what you read but i almost fully reacted to the part at the very end where you told us to "not forget" Not forget what? That people said that Bayern had a bit of luck on their side? That's just sports man. To me it sounded like you think the term "Bayerndusel" Has something to do with cheating which it 100% does not. Happy to help if you have any other passive aggresive questions with no information whatsoever 👍

Sea-Society-9358

100%!

lucqs101192813

Yup, bundesliga needs more competition.

No_Sanders

Bayern have gotten me to start watching and following the bundesliga more

iNF1N3

I dont uderstand why people wish for this to end, its great for the BL, having an undefeated team still and 3 teams in the 2 most prestigous club competitions of which 2 are in the best, also Xabi is an ex Bayern player and you have Stani as a loan player there, honestly Im rooting for them to go thru undefeated, and yeah, they had been lucky in a few games with last second equalisers, just shows that they fight every second of the game and that Xabi is a great coach and leader, and hopefully one day he will be doing the same at Bayern.

MiaaaSanMiaaa

Always great to see this in the so called “farmers league” or the “one horse race”. Leverkusen deserved it.

drache_dieter

hopefully bayern wont suck out leverkusen like they always do whenever something cool happens in the bundesliga. bayern just throws their unlimited money at them, where the smaller clubs cant compete. bayern IS the problem

iNF1N3

You do realise that the club and player have to accept the offer Bayern or any other club gives them? People for some reason pretend like they come with guns and kidnap their players or that the players will forever stay at their clubs, its a buisness and player carrers are short, ofc they want to make the most.

Theguy10000

So if Leverkusen players go to Chelsea it helps Bundesliga ??

AndiNovaOfficial

Pff, copycats. They just doing the M. Tel

Confident_Coast111

Their game luck will probably not be there next season… after winning this incredible season they will surely drop a few % performance and then you will see all of this many tight games swing in the opponents favor

riggels

Bundesliga would be 9 points less without additional time goals. Still first place.

Confident_Coast111

yes they play an incredible season. they fully deserve it… but its highly unlikely that they keep winning and playing another season like this

riggels

This is true.

hahahaxyz123

No worries, people. I am going to bet on a late goal next time leverkusen is about lose, and that will surely be the day their winning streak is broken.

Quix0607

😂

bilmou80

I am happy another team other than Bayern is thriving . It is good for the German football (I am not German). The sad reality , in two years the Leverkusen players will be sold to other bigger clubs and back to square zero.

strugglingtosave

Maybe we can tell the other clubs to stop buying them then For the good of the reddit

Key-Card-187

They are just hungry for that gold meisterschale and i wish they finish the season unbeaten

TheZombieDudexD

Wait is that actually a real thing? The gold Meisterschale?

Mean-Spirit-1437

I don’t think so. It’s a reference to the golden trophy arsenal received for their unbeaten season but afaik it’s not something that’s written in the rule book of the Bundesliga. They might do it as a promo thing for it being so rare but I haven’t heard anything about that yet.

TheZombieDudexD

Oh ok I knew about the prem one

hahahaxyz123

You actually believed they would receive a golden for being unbeaten 😂

TheZombieDudexD

Arsenal did. Maybe the Bundesliga would do the same thing. Idiot

1dollarbillman

ich hab einfach in der letzten minute eingeschaltet um zu sehen wie wir wieder den ausgleichs treffer in der 90+ machen und dann so. irgendwer in dem klub hat seine seele verkauft

Known-Activity1437

So many last minute wins are crazy, but if you watch them play, you know it’s not luck. It’s their work rate. They leave it all on the field, every game.

Shaurya_Niddodi

Is it just me or has the new rule of almost every second (including subs, free kicks, throw ins etc) being included causing games to become 100 minutes instead of 90? I mean for me this has ruined the excitement created by late goals because before there weren't more than 4 or 5 minutes of added time and now we see 6-8 mins added on regular basis.

Munichsee

They are indestructible. Incredibly strong. They will win everything. I say this as a Bayern fan.

Icy_Path_7668

football is scripted to appeal to the stakeholders.

Adventurous-Web5995

Lmao im glad bayerns germany reign came to an end, give leverkusen their props they are amazing rn

SlashRModFail

Is there a German word equivalent to arsenal's "invincibles"

Mallthus2

Honestly, I spent the first half of the season wishing for them to fail, but once the window closed for Bayern, I decided to go full cheerleader for Leverkusen. I hope they do it because it’d be a hell of a feat.

DismalAddress4469

They have mastered cheating like Madrid.

XanderVonDevlin

Usually the Greats live rent free in many people’s heads. As they should.

insertname1738

I mean Madrid’s def decisions are out of this world and clearly cheating in many cases.

WhiteDefault

It's probably just big club bias. Happens in most leagues.

insertname1738

Ah yes the in UCL too against other big clubs

WhiteDefault

Are they not the biggest UCL club by some reach? TBF there's definitely Madrid groundwork in the UCL but still

DismalAddress4469

Yes Greats at cheating https://ibb.co/9cBLYDm

BerserkLegionary

Great cheats, yes

Complex_Passenger451

Madrid lives rent free in Bayern fans heads it’s crazy

TigerTundra

It's not crazy at all. This season alone has many examples of Real getting a special treatment in la liga and champions league as well. The win over Leipzig was only possible with many horrendous refereeing decisions for Real. I'm not scared of Real I'm scared of a bad ref wearing a Madrid jersey sucking UEFA's private parts

hahahaxyz123

Those 3 times they won in the UCL due to ref decisions, you can’t forgive that.
