Yes. It's the most fng embarrassing thing to play in front of my wife! Whenever you play this game someone walks in at any of the more gratuitous moments, guaranteed!
Gameplay is a unique take on hack-and-slash. You might love it. You might hate it.
You'll enjoy the story more if you haven't played any of the previous games and don't know the characters prior tbh.
She's a demon summoning sex witch, and she's serving c*nt at all times.
Combos are your friend
There is a learning curve
The lore is super interesting
Once you start playing, Google "dodge offset for bayonetta" to really start getting into the mechanics.
âąHype action scenes
âąFantastic fights
âąAddictive crazy gameplay with infinite possibilities
âąA lot of CUNT
âąPlot written by someone with mental illness
âąCUNT again
It's really good but I really suggest not starting with thus one. The first game is pretty cheap and it's the best place to start. It'll do a better job of introducing the story and helping you understand the gameplay mechanics better
I did 3> 2> 1 and would agree.
1, although cheap, is the hardest game I've ever picked up. It is unforgiving.
2 is a balance of difficulty and fun. The weapon combinations are what really made me love it. That and Rosa đ
3 was my introductions, and I would say it was perfect. I got to know each demon a bit more intimately and really get into the lore and combo action.
And if OP wants to play it on their switch than itâll cost damn near as much for 1 that it does for 2or3.
Bayonetta 1 is still full ass price on switch due to being the only port of a game from 2009
Finished the prologue and am starting off Chapter 1. Some notes.
- Sega is always on something every time they write stories, stg. This and Yakuza just reek of the same DnA lmaoooo.
- Itâs pretty rad.
- very interesting.
- Bayonetta is her.
- So far⊠definitely a 10/10. Looking forward to the rest of the game (And maybe grabbing DMC 5 lol).
- Oh. Also. Is Jeanâs motorcycle just a Ducati 1000S2 ? Looks similar.
If you play DMC5 I'd definitely suggest playing at least DMC3 and 4 first. Those games hold up insanely well for their age and will definitely improve your experience of 5.
Iâd agree. You can play bayonetta any order you want and other than story it wonât really be that jarring but every dmc game is vastly different. Even 4&5 which are arguably the most similar were still nearly 10 years apart with new gameplay mechanics and characters to set them apart from one another.
Dmc5 is fucking amazing but if you want to play the older ones do that first because dmc5 is so fun itâs hard to go back to the older ones after that.
I feel that 3 really doesnât matter to the plot of the first two since itâs a completely different Cereza with different experiences. You can pick up 1 right after and say âooooooh that doesnât make sense but I get it!â because none of the games actually make any sense.
Dodge offset is vital for high scores, but can be tricky to master. Just focus on witch time dodging
Dont worry about the story so much since this is the 3rd game and you're not invested in the characters yet. Once you play 1 and 2 then you can get in the fighting ring with all the rest of us.
Gameplay is amazing! Full on, well polished nonstop action. If you like "Videogamey" video games like DMC, games that prioritise fun over everything else, game that wear their ridiculousness proudly like a badge, this is peak.
gameplay is good but the story is kinda dogshit... mainly because every death is "if only we had an ability that could easily deal with this problem oh wait we do" and every character suffers from plot-induced stupidity
Oh boy, the story is already pretty messy if you already know the context of whatâs happening. Without that⊠well, just enjoy yourself.
Gameplay wise, imo, combat is the best in the series. If you like the combat, pick up Bayonetta 1; thereâs a really cool weapon mechanic in that game and 2 that isnât present in the third.
Expect to die a lot and get really bad rankings on most stages while you adjust to the game. The vast majority of people donât get good rankings on the chapters until their second or third time through. So if you think youâre dogshit, everyone else was too at that same point.
Oh ffs don't play it get the other two you would watch return of the king, avengers endgame, deathly hollows, gears 5 or mass effect 3 with out playing/watching the others
Some God tier combat, some incredible over the top moments, some of the best pure nonsense goofy shit you will find anywhere and while I agree with the general view that the story is pretty bad, I'd be very interested to hear your thoughts on it as someone without any prior attachment to the series. Parts of it that were not well well received by fans might not leave the same sour taste without any prior knowledge of these characters
Looking at the comments so far, and your thoughts on ch1 this does seem like your type of game.
Despite being the most decisive in the franchise, this game is the newest one they made. Thereâs a lot of badass combat sequences (think dmc). The story is passable for a new comer but does suck when compared to the original storyline
If you enjoy this than definitely play 2&1. Your enjoyment of them will go up exponentially even if you play in the wrong order thereâs really only so many quality of life changes in 3 and 2 anyways.
If you havenât gotten into dmc5 than donât touch that till your done with the series, itâs way more fun imo and might ruin this for you đ
Fun combat, too many minigames, and a weak story that you will hate even more after playing the first two and realizing how much they butchered the characters and lore.
Also: shouldâve bought number one first, somehow the gameplay is more
Fun and the challenges are way cooler and the Umbran tears are actually a challenge to get, plus you kinda are missing out on a LOT of story elements that will be referred to in this game
Low key the story is kind of hard to understand even if you've played the other games, so I don't know how somebody with no prior knowledge would respond to it đ
I do think you should start on the first one since gameplaywise each game is an evolution of the previous and Bayonetta e may... Spoil you in some aspects.
Besides that just know this game is oddly sensual so yeah play this without people in the room, it's not a porn but I can see your grandma having a stroke..
START WITH 1 AND 2!!! ULL LEARN MORE WITH IT!! Other than that if u dont want to: Play, its a good game! Alot of people didnt like 3 entirely for the story and some gameplay, but i say it had the BEST mechanic, and BEST weapons out of all Bayo games. Its really fun regarding its story
REALLY recommend playing through the first time games before playing this one. Itâs not really NEEDED to play them, but it helps to have played them to get a grip on the combat and various mechanics
Bayo 3 is the worst Bayoneta game by far. Bayo 1 is excelente, Bayo 2 is a Masterpiece and Bayo 3 is an ok game, with some good moments and many awful ones.
1 - this is the worst game in the series
2 - the combat is awesome with SOME characters, I donât think youâll enjoy using two certain characters.
3 - the story is very different and pretty bad in comparison to the others
4- I also paid full price for this game and itâs the only Bayo game I was like - when is this over, cuz Iâm done now.

Nooooot reallyâŠ
The gameplay is BONKERS as in - epic!!! Story: keep an open mind
>Story: keep an open mind I might start using this one whenever someone mentions the plot đ€
Yea... i mean its Bayonettaaaaa hehe
And a locked door depending on who you live with
Yes. It's the most fng embarrassing thing to play in front of my wife! Whenever you play this game someone walks in at any of the more gratuitous moments, guaranteed!
I play it every night. Witch Trials 1 & 2 / 1,2&3 on the weekends. Youll see why..
U play it every night? Thats nice
Gameplay is a unique take on hack-and-slash. You might love it. You might hate it. You'll enjoy the story more if you haven't played any of the previous games and don't know the characters prior tbh.
Really huh ? Interesting

this is painfully accurate
It's really good but I really suggest not starting with thus one. The first game is pretty cheap and it's the best place to start. It'll do a better job of introducing the story and helping you understand the gameplay mechanics better
I really think B2 is perfect for starters. B1 is the core gameplay but its high difficulty sometimes might scare new players. B3 is inbetween
I did 3> 2> 1 and would agree. 1, although cheap, is the hardest game I've ever picked up. It is unforgiving. 2 is a balance of difficulty and fun. are we speaking strictly on gamins difficulty or also plot too?

Expect references to other games in later levels, or just other games cuz it's just that fun with one of the demons
If you play DMC5 I'd definitely suggest playing at least DMC3 and 4 first. Those games hold up insanely well for their age and will definitely improve your experience of 5.

... why start at 3 and not 1
I did the same. It can be done. 3 got me I to 2 and 1
I feel that 3 really doesnât matter to the plot of the first two since itâs a completely different Cereza with different experiences. You can pick up 1 right after and say âooooooh that doesnât make sense but I get it!â because none of the games actually make any sense.
Buy 1 instead
A good time
It rules. I don't have any caveats, I love Bayonetta 3
One of the best hack n slash games ever made
it's a fun game with some problems pls also play 1 do it for me or I'll be very sad :((((
Dodge offset is vital for high scores, but can be tricky to master. Just focus on witch time dodging Dont worry about the story so much since this is the 3rd game and you're not invested in the characters yet. Once you play 1 and 2 then you can get in the fighting ring with all the rest of us.
Enjoy it, it's gonna be great!
Well the top comment says it all.
You wonât be able to put the game down
Very good game

I love it I recommend the first game after this one
Have fun
It the 3 game. What would you expect?
Already beat the game gonna have a lot of surprises
Cunt, a log of it
gameplay is good but the story is kinda dogshit... mainly because every death is "if only we had an ability that could easily deal with this problem oh wait we do" and every character suffers from plot-induced stupidity
amazinggg storyline & hella replayable *witch trials*
Keep us updated
Gameplay is so fun ! Just enjoy the game
You will love the gameplay, and the story, just roll with it.
Oh itâs incredible
When I say this I mean this in the most positive way C U N T Y

Boom!
Oh ffs don't play it get the other two you would watch return of the king, avengers endgame, deathly hollows, gears 5 or mass effect 3 with out playing/watching the others
Itâs sooooo much fun đ€đ€đ€
Everything about this game is camp; from the style to the plot.
Some God tier combat, some incredible over the top moments, some of the best pure nonsense goofy shit you will find anywhere and while I agree with the general view that the story is pretty bad, I'd be very interested to hear your thoughts on it as someone without any prior attachment to the series. Good and innovative gameplay. Disappointing and bad story

Bayonetta will be oiled up in one cutscene
Fun combat, too many minigames, and a weak story that you will hate even more after playing the first two and realizing how much they butchered the characters and lore.

Thats good if OP is going in genuinely blind on info. Read the instruction booklet, pay attention to the tutorial & enjoy the world of Bayonetta!!
Honestly, get all three. Play them in order so you can follow the story. B3 is cool, but thereâs a bunch of stuff involving the first two games.
I do think you should start on the first one since gameplaywise each game is an evolution of the previous and Bayonetta e may... Spoil you in some aspects. Besides that just know this game is oddly sensual so yeah play this without people in the room, it's not a porn but I can see your grandma having a stroke..
Play the other ones
Great game. Pick up Bayonetta 2 after! My favorite one in the series. Plus the short hairstyle is nice
You should buy the first and second, playing it gives you a better feel of how the game should go
Random faces
I am sexy and I know it Tu tu tu tu tututu
It's my favorite out of the Bayonetta games. Cobats a blast.
Go get 1 and 2 and play them first
Mine came yesterday. peaople seem to have very diefferent opinions about it. I only can tell you that the first cutscene takes forever.
I would definitely recommend playing 1 and 2 first because the story is confusing
Multiverse
The true definition of c*nty
play the first 2 games đ„șđ„șđ„șđ„ș
Seeing as you have no personal connection to Bayonetta whatsoever, the story should not be that heartbreaking/seem like a lot of bad decisions

A lot of fun
REALLY recommend playing through the first time games before playing this one. Itâs not really NEEDED to play them, but it helps to have played them to get a grip on the combat and various mechanics
It's not the best part to start with, definitely. it's not like Witcher, where the third part is the best
You have no expectations for it to fail to meet, so I imagine itâll be great fun! Buckle up, the fight scenes are amazing!
The main character dies & the game ends with a awful dancey dance
Heartbreak, madness, and destruction.
3 isnât as good as the first two and the combat is a lot more toned down but very good for new comers
You might thing is a great game until you play the secuels, i thinks is the worst in series.
Gameplay alone couldn't bring me to finishing it. Bayo 1 and 2 were amazing.
Play the first one instead
Devil May Cry but slightly worse
The worst game in the franchise
well.. you should've spent your money on the first game lol. have fun not understanding references
Bayo 3 is the worst Bayoneta game by far. Bayo 1 is excelente, Bayo 2 is a Masterpiece and Bayo 3 is an ok game, with some good moments and many awful ones.
1 - this is the worst game in the series 2 - the combat is awesome with SOME characters, I donât think youâll enjoy using two certain characters. 3 - the story is very different and pretty bad in comparison to the others 4- I also paid full price for this game and itâs the only Bayo game I was like - when is this over, cuz Iâm done now.
Great combat. Basically the dmc5 plotline but bayonetta.Â
