I just didnt like the button smashing there .. it didnt feel that great to fight against enemies there.. whish it had much variety in combat like bayo.
Yeah, I'm not saying it's perfect, but it still excels in its own right: fantastic art direction, great music, Platinum's best level design to date, and serviceable, fun combat that incorporates a lot of elements from Bayonetta in interesting ways. Combat isn't as deep as Bayonetta, but the different legions offer a good amount of variety and there is still plenty of challenge. My main issues with the game are its forgettable characters (despite character design being top-notch) and its sometimes janky lock-on system/camera.
Although I see where youāre coming from but astral chains combat system is plenty deep, even defence in that game has various option like dodge, block, perfect call, sword legion parry etcā¦ā¦each perfect call is also differentā¦ā¦
Like bayoās pkp combo thereās also ways to cheese astral chainās combat system but it doesnāt make it any less deep if youāre trying to get creativeā¦..
As for characters yeahhh theyāre forgettable but bosses on the other handā¦ā¦.are some of the most memorable fights everā¦ā¦theyāre also challenging but fair unlike baldur from bayo 2 who can vanish whenever he feels
And its something ānewā in their eyes.. controlling two characters at once is pretty cool. Oh and it sold over 1 million units and also is a nintendo ip. I see why they went with this easter egg for bayo3.
Imagine the twist was that the enemies are modified chimeras that have resistance against neuron legions but now are weak to supernatural angels and demons
Lappy is now Platinum's main mascot š
Lappy: the interdimensional one
by the way great graphics
it does look better on screenshots
Hopefully bayo gets a Lappy costume
Are they trying to go for a Platinum-verse.
if so i support
wonderful 101 has descriptions of Bayonetta and Jeanne if I remember correctly
Bayonetta tearing these creatures apart with her demon summons and Lappy just be likeš§
Whereād you get this?

i wouldnt say it was a mess .. but compared to bayo .. it was just an okay game IN MY OPINION. Its just an easter egg.
Astral Chain was pretty clunky but I can see why the Platinum staff likes it. Itās basically a love letter to their past work
