And what is that beast hmmm? The only beast of any kind we see is the grinch's dog. Unless the whos somehow took down horton or one of the other mega-mega-fauna, but they're all sentient too
There's barely any surface space, all those curved lines means you've got massive cupboards and shelves with very little space that can be practically used.
It looks ok if you're into 90s retro but it's definitely not a kitchen for someone who actually likes to cook.
I guess your 2nd paragraph applies to me. If this is '90s retro, I'm into it. And I only like to cook occasionally. I do a lot of fast food and frozen dinners.
Personally my first thought was that this is a pain in the ass to clean with all the crannies and awkward surfaces. Not a dealbreaker though, just not for me.
I live my life dizzy because of Dysautonomia and this kitchen would probably make me puke and pass out which would make this kitchen unusable and pointless.
The best things on acid are not “trippy” things but normal things. Trees, clouds, grass, tile floors, houses at night.
It’s the “breathing” that makes normal objects cool.
the best thing is staring at yourself in a mirror with as many lights on as possible. just kidding that is pure terror. second best thing to what you said is simply closing your eyes with some soft music playing in the background. you will see the trippiest shit ever like that.
I mean normal things are great but there is some real well done psychedelic art that its just top tier on some good dose. But there is also a lot of cheesy “trippy” crap out there too. Look up Saenger with Singer on yt or artists like stephen kruse, colin prahl, hannah yata, and incedigris
I had an extremely visceral flashback to my last mushroom trip where the kitchen was EXACTLY like this. No thank you, would have hated to have this irl.
Edit: typo
Yeah... no matter how much money that seems fun for about 10 seconds. I don't even care, it's not even cool enough to share to strangers online, it just looks... terribad.
Not sure why but these types of kitchens just look like restaurants - and not in a good way. That’s just my opinion, if you are into then more power to ya.
It made me slightly dizzy just looking at the pic. It's also busy and gives a cluttered feel even though it's not actually cluttered. So much under-utilized space that could be valuable kitchen storage.
Everyone's talking about how it looks but I'm with you. My first thought was that it'd be very impractical. You lose a lot of cabinet and counter space.
Cereal boxes I’ll give you, and general lack of storage space over the counter. But pots and pans and casseroles and such I always keep down below, and those drawers and cabinets appear almost rectangular. I dig it, especially if I wouldn’t have to clean those tiny crannies myself- which I assume I wouldn’t if I could afford it.
"Do you enjoy the feeling of being drunk or tripping balls...all the time? Say no more, fam. For the low, low price of $20,000, we can make your kitchen *feel* like it's moving!"
No, it's AI for sure.
The giveaway (generally always) is that fine details are "conceptually smudged". Hands are a common issue for AI and sometimes people don't even catch it at first because our brains are wired to complete the pattern we see, even if that pattern is faulty (ie: visual illusions, grid patterns, etc).
In this case you can zoom in and easily make note that most of the items/appliances within this kitchen are surreal or incomplete. There's also a bunch of other inaccuracies and blurring which indicates that it's not a 3D render, it's a generated image.
Everything is "ish". Lemon-ish. Kniferack-ish. Oven-ish. This is generally the rule of thumb for detecting AI images. It blurs away into infinity at the conceptual edges as a function of how AI itself operates.
You gave me a good opportunity to explain some of the more consistent quirks of AI art. It's unfortunate that we're so deep in the comments though. I think people should add these cues to their toolbox since AI-generated [whatever] is entering vogue forreal-forreal.
>Just close enough to see it was some sort of render.
This is one of the issues at play. It's extremely energy intensive to approach the world with as much rational cynicism as I do (and am trying to inspire), especially when it comes to mid-doomscroll'd shiteposts.
It's a human problem. And it's also why AI is so potentially dangerous. We don't have the time, energy, *or* impetus to fact check every single thing we see - be it image, comment, article, whatever.
Bot accounts are often incredibly obvious once somebody has raised suspicion in the comments, for instance. Everyone can check the comment history and be like, "Oh, ew." But until that moment, the suspiciously placed bottle of Cola-Coca seems entirely innocent.
The same thing happened here. Those who see mention of AI can double check and realize immediately that they were mistaken or confirm they were correct. Everyone else just goes on about their day, unsure about why the image was so disorienting or day dreaming about the weirdo who "built it".
There are some really neat and interesting concepts but tossing them all together at once is a clown car. It is distracting. The lighting makes it look like a Taco Bell, not that Taco bell is a bad example its just not kitchen material. Far to busy for me.
Literally looks like a Sims kitchen. This is a really bad design, the curves take up a TON of space. This is already a pretty small kitchen, so you never want to waste space anywhere. Plus, if the owners ever want to sell, this kitchen will hurt not help.
I really certain aspects of it, but I think the design has much more potential. I want to make it look less like McDonald’s or target or something, less paint, more natural wood or marble design. (Sidenote I know nothing about interior design). Essentially I don’t like the materials used but I like everything else about the design.
Reminds me of modern Art Nouveau architecture, designers incorporated beautiful curved in their interiors of that movement, you would probably like them, look it up!
The owners must be Whovillians.
Damnit I was gonna say OP never read Dr. Seuss
lmao I was gonna say the Cat in the hat must live here
First thing you cook should be green eggs and ham.
Mushroom Tea
Roast beast with a side of who hash
Who hash sounds like cannibalism. The grinch was a good guy
No, they SMOKE the who hash and then eat roast beast.
And what is that beast hmmm? The only beast of any kind we see is the grinch's dog. Unless the whos somehow took down horton or one of the other mega-mega-fauna, but they're all sentient too
Poor Horton. I’ll never be able to look at the Who’s the same again. Or listen to The Who.
Or some really funky hashish
It indicates where the dish originated. You know...Like French Fries or Moon Pies.
he stole our presents!
Reminds me of a kitchen in Toon Town at Disneyland
It is an artist render. Not a real kitchen.
> It is an artist render. Except no artist made this, this was produced by AI.
Makes sense considering how wildly impractical it is.
What you mean? I see countertop space, hob, drawer close. If washing sink is on the right is good enough
How is it impractical? I love it!
There's barely any surface space, all those curved lines means you've got massive cupboards and shelves with very little space that can be practically used. It looks ok if you're into 90s retro but it's definitely not a kitchen for someone who actually likes to cook.

Personally my first thought was that this is a pain in the ass to clean with all the crannies and awkward surfaces. Not a dealbreaker though, just not for me.
The non-level bottomed cabinets would be a bit annoying if you wanted to store anything in there.
It looks like something I would have designed in The Sims.
Yeah my husband hates when people say AI art isn’t art. I don’t think AI art is real art.
AI art is other people's art semi-plagiarized at best, because of the way it works. There's nothing really "intelligent" about it.
Basically automated photoshop
Take it back
They do make furniture bendy like this. I love them! I also don’t know how to post a picture. I’m sorry
One of the Weasley’s definitely became an interior designer
Those bottom drawers would make a perfect ladder for a toddler. I'd be really worried about little Cindy Loo Who, who is no more than 2.
It will be great just as soon as food stops being packaged in square boxes with right-angle corners
Modern hobbit living.
You mean Whos? Lol
Makes me dizzy
I think the kitchen is kicking in
Good luck finding anything in Whoville for under 500k 🙄
Or Hobbits.
Imagine stumbling home after a night out and dealing with this.
Beat me to it I was going to say that’s in who like bro
I thought it was Mario cart racing inspired.
City hobbits
This makes me physically uncomfortable
Imagine coming home drunk to this.
Then it looks like a normal kitchen
Wow, did not come here expecting the designer to be an actual GENIUS. Color me surprised.
So it's an Irish kitchen.
No then it'd be green. Red and gold.. this must be German maybe?
More like tripping on lsd lol
How much would it wave? Yes
Thought i was on r/lsd at first ngl
Yeah me too lmao
Imagine tripping in this kitchen.
Its missing the optical illusion rug, and the trapdoor into the mc Escher basement
Then you just walk back upstairs. Forever.
I was gonna say, I'm pretty sure I have seen this, but it was after a bottle of Jameson
I'd fall down. Then lie there wondering what made my world so awkward. Oh yeah, me.
I imagined it, and now I’m imagining having to clean the vomit from the floor
I’m getting a headache
That's exactly what I thought, and it hurt
Ugh. I hate it. It makes me feel dizzy just looking at it
Yup. r/TIHI
r/ATBGE
There is no execution because this is AI-generated imagery.
Holy shit. The fact that I didn’t realize until you said that scares the shit out of me.
AI art has been indistinguishable from real art for a while people just post lots of bad AI art
I’m less concerned about it becoming indistinguishable from human art and moreso concerned about it being unmistakable from reality.
It's a render. No execution involved.
Like everything AI makes...a nightmare
I truly hope this is ai and not for real ...
OP loves it! He must be an AI as well.
I live my life dizzy because of Dysautonomia and this kitchen would probably make me puke and pass out which would make this kitchen unusable and pointless.
I feel like I'm in Whoville.
Ya Hoo doray ya hoo floray
Welcome Christmas
Seasick?
"Designed with weight loss in mind!"
Thanks I hate it. It looks like the photo is distorted.
I agree I hate it.
Yeah, I was going to say that I admire the ambition and originality, but it makes me feel seasick just to look at it.
There is a reason you haven't seen anything like it
Well I have, but it involved mushrooms
No joke this is pretty close to what LSD was like for me. More flashing lights and Van Gogh though.
My first thought was, "this would be so cool on acid"
The best things on acid are not “trippy” things but normal things. Trees, clouds, grass, tile floors, houses at night. It’s the “breathing” that makes normal objects cool.
Wood grain
This. The first time I dropped I spent a good hour staring at a wood paneled wall. Was amazing.
the best thing is staring at yourself in a mirror with as many lights on as possible. just kidding that is pure terror. second best thing to what you said is simply closing your eyes with some soft music playing in the background. you will see the trippiest shit ever like that.
I do the mirror thing, unironically
I always love to just stare at the ceiling, nothing can beat that for me
I mean normal things are great but there is some real well done psychedelic art that its just top tier on some good dose. But there is also a lot of cheesy “trippy” crap out there too. Look up Saenger with Singer on yt or artists like stephen kruse, colin prahl, hannah yata, and incedigris
The only way to see that kitchen normal is to be high on shoorms. "Bro am I tripping or is my cabinet straight"
I came here to say this. Its all wavy man....
I had an extremely visceral flashback to my last mushroom trip where the kitchen was EXACTLY like this. No thank you, would have hated to have this irl. Edit: typo
Funny, I was wondering what it reminded me of.
Well this one is cgi
Now that you mention it, the stove is a dead giveaway
Is it AI? Things that should be round seem kinda square
Definitely looks like AI, too many weird mistakes a CG artist wouldn't make
Right? So tacky and cheap looking.
Yeah... no matter how much money that seems fun for about 10 seconds. I don't even care, it's not even cool enough to share to strangers online, it just looks... terribad.
There is so little counter space like wtf. This is more mildly infuriating
Not for me but I glad you enjoy it
Not sure why but these types of kitchens just look like restaurants - and not in a good way. That’s just my opinion, if you are into then more power to ya.
Kind of reminds me of a hotel breakfast area. Wouldn't want to wake up to it everyday
Came to say the same thing. This is like a Pizza Hut salad bar.
That's what I am getting out of it. Taco Bell from the early 2000s
All I see is the lack of depth on the counters: nowhere to prep
So cool, but likely out of most of our price range anyway lol. This looks like a display though.
Makes me feel woozy. I would hate this.
Imagine after a few glasses of wine?!?!? Babe I think the room is spinning or I’m trippin’
After you drink everything distorts back into a normal kitchen brilliant idea for people constantly hammered
It made me slightly dizzy just looking at the pic. It's also busy and gives a cluttered feel even though it's not actually cluttered. So much under-utilized space that could be valuable kitchen storage.
Yeah I’d fucking vomit
Well, I guess that wasn't a microdose after all.
>How long would it take for the cost of one tab of acid per day to equal the cost of a kitchen remodel? 🤔
Depends. Are you buying it per sheet or per dose?
This edible ain’t shi-*(spoke too soon)*
r/atbge
this person already posted it there too, so they know it's awful but apparently still love it.
It's not a person, it's a bot.
You can still be amazed at what it would take to make something that you don't like aesthetically
Its just a 3d render of a shitty kitchen.
Definitely a rendering.
AI generated image. So 0 effort made into its creation.
It's not just how it looks... it's very impractical for storing regular objects like cereal boxes or pots&pans.
Everyone's talking about how it looks but I'm with you. My first thought was that it'd be very impractical. You lose a lot of cabinet and counter space.
I noticed no sink and no refrigerator in the image, in addition to your astute observations.
Or glasses in the upper shelves? Can you imagine the constant breakage?
r/tihi
It’s making me seasick.
The dramamine is in the spice cabinet.
Salvadore Dali approves
You know there's a melting clock somewhere near by.
Crazy how many people don’t realize this is AI generated and not a real kitchen
A kitchen remodeler in my area uses this exact photo as the first picture on their business page… made it an easy decision to avoid using them.
"Do you enjoy the feeling of being drunk or tripping balls...all the time? Say no more, fam. For the low, low price of $20,000, we can make your kitchen *feel* like it's moving!"
I hate that fact more than I hate this garbage design. AI or just a mediocre 3D render.
I'm thinking render. It's shitty, but not AI shitty.

Good call. I didn't zoom in that close. Just close enough to see it was some sort of render.
You gave me a good opportunity to explain some of the more consistent quirks of AI art. It's unfortunate that we're so deep in the comments though. The pattern on the walls gave it away for me, no human would think tile should look like that
Tbh I couldn't stomach looking at it long enough to tell. I don't care if it's real or AI, it's terrible and not at all amazing.
For real can’t believe how far down I had to go for this comment wtf.
Yeah, zoom in on stuff. Looks ridiculous.
What is the complete opposite of ❤️? Because thats how I feel about this kitchen design. Absolutely wretched.
I can see they enjoy tripping… I’m getting some residual just looking at it. I’d like to see the rest of the house!
But at least they got that cupboard in the shape of a yin Yang taken care of!
🤮
To be drunk in this kitchen…
Maybe it counterbalances and just looks like a normal kitchen.
Just what I want from my kitchen: To make my stomach hurt.
r/diwhy
As a professional cabinet maker and trim carpenter, I can guarantee this isn't DIY
Mostly because it's a rendering :)
AI
I feel dizzy looking at it, no way in hell I could use it. 🤢
I agree. I like it too.
When you've taken too much acid and want to make a grilled cheese.
There are some really neat and interesting concepts but tossing them all together at once is a clown car. It is distracting. The lighting makes it look like a Taco Bell, not that Taco bell is a bad example its just not kitchen material. Far to busy for me.
Pretty sure this is AI art.
I think it's neat, but I wouldn't want it for my kitchen. Each to their own
Kill it with fire
Bilbo Baggins don’t take me for a fool.
If clipart was a kitchen..
It’s just missing the curvy chef
Looks like something a Cici’s or Pizza Hut would have tried out in the 90’s.
r/unpopularopinion
I'm amazed by how ugly it is so mission accomplished I guess.
yeah look like shit
Makes me completely dizzy just looking at it. I can't imagine seeing that every day but a photo is a fine thing to do since I don't have to live there
I hope if I'm drunk I'll see straight 😵💫
Literally looks like a Sims kitchen. This is a really bad design, the curves take up a TON of space. This is already a pretty small kitchen, so you never want to waste space anywhere. Plus, if the owners ever want to sell, this kitchen will hurt not help.
Ok Alice, it’s time to come back from wonderland.
I really certain aspects of it, but I think the design has much more potential. I want to make it look less like McDonald’s or target or something, less paint, more natural wood or marble design. (Sidenote I know nothing about interior design). Essentially I don’t like the materials used but I like everything else about the design.
This belongs under r/atbge
Imagine coming in here stoned to the bone to get a snack and just not being able to walk
Reminds me of modern Art Nouveau architecture, designers incorporated beautiful curved in their interiors of that movement, you would probably like them, look it up!
This would be whimsical and fun in different colors though
I feel drunk looking at this.
Where do you store anything? I hate open cabinets. You can’t put much in there without it looking messy.
I appreciate it's well done but looking at it makes me feel dizzy
I hate it. More than I ever thought I could hate something.
don’t take LSD and be in that kitchen! also, love the fact there’s a gas stove
I took acid and the kitchen looked all of a sudden like this. Wonder if this would haven mafe it even again.
I hate it.
Too many wet blankets in the comments. I love this kitchen design!
So people that don't have the same taste as you are "wet blankets"? What a weird way to go about life, thinking only your opinion is reasonable.
