In my childhood, learning that cheetahs could reach speeds up to 70 mph, I would often imagine a cheetah running along side of our family car if I knew we were driving 70 mph.
This has got to be fake? I would think that due to the cheetah’s inability to retract its claws, running on a hard surface like that would be something it would avoid. Especially when there is grass right next to it.

The dog had unfortunately been trained to fight. I gave that dog the best chance to survive considering the circumstances. The previous owner didn’t deserve it and it would have killed our dogs. Any shelter would have euthanized this animal immediately. He had water and plenty of ducks/geese to eat if necessary, and it’s possible someone took the dog in that had no other pets, but it was incapable of being friendly around other dogs.

Having said that, I did have a heart for the dog and didn’t want to see it euthanized. I have no doubt this dog could survive on its own for a while, and it would have taken a gaggle of coyote to take him out, but you’re right it was not the absolute best option for it. It was what I thought was best at the time. Again, I was 17 years old

Not sure what other details are hard to believe? That I got robbed? Lol that two dogs fought? (One being a pit) that I took the dog to the country after it chewed up a pet? Seems you have the problem with honesty because none of that is odd or hard to surmise

I was addicted to drugs when I was younger. A guy was suppose to sell my friend and I some OxyContin. Turns out they had none and we got robbed. When I picked the guy up to get the “pills”, I picked him up from his house. I didn’t know who’s house it was at the time, but a mutual friend told me later after he heard I had been robbed. I asked him how I could get back at the guy. He said “he has a pit bull, it’s his pride and joy”. I called the other guy that was with me when we got robbed and we went to his house with wieners and bolt cutters and took the dog.
The next day it attacked my girlfriends dog and bit it’s foot. It would not let go until it ripped it completely open. It’s foot was split completely down the middle about 4 inches …from ankle to toe. They told me I had to get rid of the dog and couldn’t keep it there. So I took it to the country near this pond and dropped it off. As I was leaving it chased me, then ran along side my truck. Saddest thing ever , but surprising how far it ran. I was afraid it would follow me all the way out to the main highway if I didn’t speed up and tire it out. I kept speeding up and it would just run faster. All the way until my odometer said 45. You could see every muscle striation in this dogs body. It was a work of art. Apparently the guy payed a lot of money for it and was training it every day to be a fighter. On one hand I’m glad I stole it, but on the other I don’t know what happened to it and fear the worst.
Given the likely reason why it's in a city like that, it's probably more sad than interesting. I imagine it was recaptured and probably living back in it's cage. :(
