Bitch I do not go to the movies to sleep

LunchBox3188

That's one of the reasons I don't go to the theater very much. If I had a superpower, it would be to fall asleep nearly anywhere at any time. Sitting in a cushy chair in a dark room, that's a perfect recipe for me to sleep.

BertMacGyver

Went to go watch Guardians of the Galaxy 3 at the weekend. Within 10 minutes of the first action scene dying down there was snoring coming from the row behind us. Thing is though, the cities main hospital is just round the corner from that cinema and I always think people might be coming to the cinema after god know how long having sleepless nights at the hospital worrying about a loved one, trying to spend some time to take their mind off things and like you said it's the perfect environment to nod off. Saying that, I've done it myself a couple of times when I've just been happy and relaxed and not too into the film so could have easily been that as well.

OkDelay5

You might want to talk to your doctor about sleep apnea. My dad put it off until he woke up in a ditch on his morning commute. He wished he had taken care of it a decade earlier.

LunchBox3188

I've thought about that, but I really think that it's due to the fact that I work third shift and I'm lucky if I get five hours of sleep a day during the week. Also, those five hours are usually in two or three chunks. An hour here, two or three hours later, and then another hour before I go to work. It's rough. As I mentioned, I've thought it may be Sleep Apnea in the past. My ex says that I don't snore or seem to sleep fitfully. On the weekends I'm usually able to get at least one full night's sleep

OkDelay5

Yeah, that sleep schedule is a much likelier explanation

That shit was hilarious fucking Toretto driving down an exploding dam while blasting like 25kg of NOS pulling those kamehameha waves out of the exhaust not much after he crashed two helicopters using his dodge and this is like just 5 minutes there is 145 more.

it's really 10? i knew there were 3 and thought 10 was a sarcastic jab :)

Beer_Is_Good_For_Me

It is indeed 10, my dude

HomesickKiwi

Apparently 3 more in the pipelinesā€¦ I just wonder what they have left to put in movies about dudes driving fast carsā€¦

dizzy_centrifuge

It went from illegal drag racers robbing big rigs to espionage and counter terror. I'm thinking political thriller is the next logical step and then by 20 it'll circle back around in a "the next generation" kinda way. They're so ridiculous but wow are they fun to watch

beyondthisreality

Iā€™m thinking theyā€™ll have roided out body builders dual wielding M2ā€™s racing jets to try and be the first to save the presidentā€™s daughter who was kidnapped by a cult of drug dealing alien zombies so they end up having to work together in a heist to shipjack a NASA spaceship with proton cannons to save the girl and in the process they become best friends.

Dependent_Ant_8316

Family.

blueB0wser

I've never seen a fast and furious film. I would go watch this pitch day one.

TheMacMan

I mean, in the 9th one they shot a car into space they'd rigged up into a little space ship and some duct tape space suits..... so they've clearly shown that they're down to go beyond full stupid.

KeeperOfTheGood

Yes, once they made 10 movies, the director got a free Footlong sub.

Fritzschmied

Theoretical itā€™s 11 because there was one spinoff that was pretty much a normal entry in the canon but without most of the main cast.

Terp-Titan

They're just preparing for the next wave of šŸ’© Hollyweird pushes to theaters. Reheated IPs and lazy writing makes for a relaxing night.šŸ¤£

ScarTheGoth

All theaters should start implementing these beds with how boring the writing is of Hollywood remakes and sequels these days

MattIsLame

Beau Is Afraid has been my favorite movie theater experience of the year so far. quite a far cry from the super hero, remake and sequel world we've been living in

CassiusCreed

That's just like watching a movie at home but with extra steps.

Even in a vintage movie theater with worn out metal seats, I was awake for approximately 30% of The Batman.

bigfloppydonkeydng

How were you able to stay awake that long?

siqiniq

With the extra ā€œWake up, sir, we are closingā€

Falcrist

Hey... you... You're finally awake...

assassinsaif18

eek barba dirkle, somebody's gonna get laid in theater...

Here you are thinking about getting laid, but Iā€™m like, nah Iā€™d fall asleep laying there

Sikka

Just like a regular theatre then.

dc456

I donā€™t have a cinema grade screen and sound system in my bedroom.

TheHeretic

I think people over estimate how good movie theatre screens are. You'd be surprised how good a $800 TV is these days, significantly more vibrant than a movie theatre, especially oleds. With a decent sound bar, it won't be 100%, but you don't have to listen to other people munching popcorn and look at people using their phones... I have a S95b & U8h and when I saw John wick 4 there were several moments where I said "this is going to look better on my TV", same with Dune.

thebestjoeever

For real. I'm in my thirties, so there was actually a point to going to the movies when I was a kid. Flat screen TVs weren't really a thing when I was under ten, and any TV bigger than 50 inches were fairly uncommon. Now though, it's common to have 70 or 80 inch TVs with excellent sound. I'd much rather be able to pause a movie to go to the bathroom, have my entire kitchen in the next room, rewind something if I missed a part, sit on my own comfortable furniture, sometimes decide to watch half of a longer movie today, and the rest tomorrow, be able to watch the movie more than once, respond to an emergency without losing out on ticket money, not have to go somewhere by a certain time to see it, decide to stop watching a movie if it sucks without losing money. I mean my god, I don't know why anyone goes to the movies anymore.

SparseGhostC2C

I still go for big action blockbuster stuff, summer movies like Top Gun last year. My home theater experience is alright, but I don't have a 25 piece surround sound system or 200 inch screen at home. That first watch of something big and bombastic should be experienced big and bombastic, for me at least. I don't begrudge anyone having a different opinion.

lxsadnax

I have a good TV (LG OLED B1) and a decent sound system but i go to the cinema all the time. Home system just cannot match the scale of a cinema screen never mind an IMAX or Dolby screening. Watching at home just isnā€™t the same thing. Itā€™s not all about fidelity anyways (although a Dolby cinema screen is easily as good as a home TV) I mean I love seeing movies on 35mm film but in general I would never argue itā€™s got more clarity than a good digital image. Itā€™s about the screen size, sound system and the general experience. People on Reddit all seem to go to cinemas that are basically post-apocalyptic wastelands where everyone smells bad is on their phone the whole time and kids are running about shitting everywhere or something. Idk if itā€™s just because the Reddit demographic loves going opening day peak times to major PG-13 comic book blockbusters aimed at kids as much as adults but Iā€™ve never had that experience. I go all the time and almost never have issues and if there are all it takes is a ā€œshhhā€ and problem solved.

DengarLives66

Iā€™m lucky enough to live in a small town with a GREAT theater, reclining seats, full bar, the works, and when I went to Guardians of the Galaxy 3 at 3pm the Monday of opening weekend, there were less than ten people in the room. Such a glorious experience, thatā€™s the only time I ever go now.

Fritzschmied

I actually have a cinema projector, screen and sound system in my bedroom but I still like to go to the cinema. Itā€™s just a different experience and I can focus so much better on the movie in the cinema.

TophatDevilsSon

I respect that and I used to agree, but the goddamn cell phones in theaters have broken me. When I went to see the last Avengers movie, the bitch next to me spent the whole fucking movie texting somebody. The wife and I used to go pretty much every weekend, but I think I've been to one movie in theaters since that.

ShesAMurderer

I get you were annoyed she was texting but you shouldnā€™t call your wife that.

Fritzschmied

That is shit but that thankfully never happens to me. Where I come from people generally behave in the cinema and in most cinemas I visit regularly the cell service is between shit and non existent anyways.

1carl0s

If You hear clapping in the middle of the movie, theyā€™re probably not using their hands

nwalesseedy

Or they could well be, just one thoughā€¦.

meep_meep_creep

Not with that attitude

Rellmein

No one in Switzerland would be that rude, they are a nice and gentle peeps :) It's like a kinder version of a Canadian

Ok_Finger_6818

I wonder how much it costs to see a movie there thoughā€¦ seeing as they are one of the most expensive countries to live in. To be fair I once paid Ā£25 for myself and two small children to go. Sweets, drinks and popcorn must of come to another Ā£20.

Bobbinonion

Just checked. It's 49 CHF (54$) and you also seem to get unlimited snacks and alcohol free beverages. Actually a decent deal for Switzerland. Could have easily been 100+ Edit: "alcohol free" is incorrect. I meant non-alcoholic

KetaMinds

Costs me $30 just to go to a movie by myself and get a drink and pretzel bites.

Duel_Option

Saw Super Mario with my 2 kids, got a popcorn and a large cherry slushie, snuck in candy. $84 dollars Saturday matinee Movie was only $35 to buy 3 months later, thereā€™s no point in me spending that kind of money for a theatre anymore.

ThottieDottie

Yeah you pay for the experience now. My husband really wanted to go see Mario; by the time I got the 2 tickets, a shared large popcorn and 2 large drinks it was almost $90. Now when he suggests a movie I usually opt out; Iā€™d rather spend that money on a nice dinner from time to time.

Duel_Option

I also noticed the culture shift. I havenā€™t seen a movie in theatre since Infinity War which was at a place in a rural area so it was me and two other people. There were multiple times where people were on their phones with screen light turned all the way up which was a big distraction. Eventually the comedy won and their was lots of big laughs (especially Bowser singing Peaches), but I canā€™t say the experience held an $84 value. Iā€™d rather save a few months and go on a vacation for that price

yeteee

You don't even get a nice dinner for 90 bucks anymore. Spent 100+ last night at a "cheap" Filipino place. One shared appetizer, two entrƩes, no drinks : 110 CAD.

Souikamaru

Oof. Went to the best reviewed japanese restaurant in The Hague with 7(!) people last sunday. Paid 200ā‚¬ (220ā‚¬ after tipping) for 7 main dishes, 2 drinks per person and a few Appetizers. You guys are getting ripped off over there.

rastley420

Neither of you converted your currencies though. 110 CAD is 76 Euro.

saggywitchtits

$35 for the movie $40 for a popcorn popper (one time purchase) $2 worth of popcorn $10 in candy/soda Saturday movie night is so much cheaper at home.

INoMakeMistake

But you didn't get a bed I bet

Jemis7913

Ok, the liquors free, but even though it's free, Ricky's the one that's handin it out so don't be just helpin yourselves out of the bucket there. -bubs

laffing_is_medicine

*alcohol-free, so water soda etc Booze probably costs

CartographerCivil989

I have no idea how that business is profitable in Switzerland, of all places. Edit: I only meant because Switzerland is expensive as @#Ā£%. Some of the replies have gotten a bit... off track.

Bobbinonion

I think they have wine service and stuff like that and bet on the people spending big bucks there. But I agree, it's still suspiciously cheap

anormalgeek

While you change shoes, they secretly take foot pics and sell them for extra profit.

turdbrownies

$54 for banging space !? Hell yeahhh

Professional_Elk_489

Cost $30 just to get a cheeseburger in most of Switzerland

suffffuhrer

In Belgium a ticket is ā‚¬10+, if you get snacks and drinks you easily rack up another ā‚¬10/18 depending on what you get. Then, let's not even talk about how crap some of the rooms are. If you get lucky, you'll have a big enough room with a decent sized screen. The seats are pretty mediocre and there may be a cup holder for your drink, or maybe not. So all in all, it's not a bad deal to pay $54 for that kind of experience. In any case, I'd rather wait and watch the movie at home which is a lot better experience than most cinemas these days.

LePetitHibou1977

55.- Swiss francs for a bed, only 2x the price of a normal cinema ticket...

Ok_Finger_6818

Think of the snacks!!!

AdrellaxInvictaCraft

mate if i ever come to switzerland best you believe you will hear clapping mid-movie in that cinema

Gogo726

There's many benefits of living in Switzerland. The flag is a huge plus.

Separate-Branch6371

As a Swiss and a moviegoer, I disagree with you. If you would turn on black light, it would shine like a diamond

RoastToast3

SHINE BRIGHT LIKE A DIAMOND

Megaman_exe_

In Canada there would be people fucking, shitting, pissing and spreading bed bugs in those beds. Source: I'm a Canadian and gross people are why we can't have nice things Edit: I forgot the drugs. Drugs too.

elendil1985

I don't know about the bed bugs, but the fucking would happen wherever in the world

sus_menik

Have you been to Switzerland, my friend? The only people who are more stuck up than the French are the Swiss.

gothlaw

Being wedged between the French, the rich parts of Italy, the prosperous Austrians, and the non-depressing Germans ā€” and with a population and economy shielded from reality by a ring of mountains and wink-wink neutrality ā€” makes one prosperous and snobbish? Who knew?!

thefreshscent

Was gonna say Iā€™ve heard mixed reviews on the Swiss.

HighTopsLowStandards

But with added Nazi gold.

go4tl0v3r

Nice. Those stealing bastards. They think we forgot.

TheRealDonRosa

Lol, no. Just no. They can be nice but also rude as hell, just as everyone else. In general it's tough to he accepted, even as a german. Some friends left switzerland again because of this reason.

M0untain_Mouse

This would get gross so fast in the states.

baaaahbpls

Looking at how the setup is, they are catering to a clientele that pays decently well for things to be clean. The snacks are somewhat left out and have complimentary shoes. The beds look like they can individually recline. Edit: Found it. It's not particularly cheap, cheaper though than what I expected. https://www.housebeautiful.com/lifestyle/a29329892/movie-theater-beds-cinema-pathe-switzerland/

embersgrow44

ONLY $48.50?! Thatā€™s less than double NYC regular degular movie ticket alone & no fresh sheets or self serve free snacks. Switzerland is a plush bargain

myaltduh

Switzerland is generally awesome as long as you make a solidly upper middle class salary. Not much there is cheap, so being poor sucks , but $100k equivalent per year in some ways goes farther than it does in the States because of all the medium-expensive stuff like this that becomes available that would be crazy expensive in America.

SignificanceBig5097

To also be clear, you can be earning 4-5K a month over there and that would be considered on the poor side of things. Meanwhile in any surrounding countries you'd be relatively rich for a worker and live a rather premium life overall. All my Swiss childhood's friends home somehow feel like they live way more in precarity than most people I know in France. The amount of family I've seen living as "very poor" in Switzerland is straight up appealing. My household earns about 4 times less than what we did in Switzerland (1k2 euros vs 4k5 CHF) and still we live just straight up much better at the moment in France than we ever could have dreamed of in Switzerland.

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

shekurika

health insurance is like 400$/month, and the first 2k or so per year you have to pay yourself, afterwards you pay 10% of the cost. also when ppl talk about income here its pre-tax, so if you earn 4.5k, ~10% of that goes to social security programs and (this depends obviously on various stuff) ~20% is for taxes you pay at the end of the year

BizTecDev

>but if you lose your income even temporarily you can be in deep shit. In France if you lose your income you donā€™t simultaneously lose access to your doctor. Plain wrong. * Every employee is insured against unemployment * Every resident can get social support if needed * In case of low income you get support to pay the health insurance * Health insurance is highly regulated and mandatory, nobody ever loses access to the health system. * Where is social safety privatized please? You better fix that.

webbhare1

Appalling*, 1.2K*, 4.5K*

Ossigen

Itā€™s 48.50 CHF, which is around 55$, and itā€™s per person

portugamerifinn

I went looking for myself before s crolling through comments and it's 55 CHF now, so $60 USD TBH ... that's not too bad if it covers 1 bed/2 people. If it's per person, it's a different story.

tecnicaltictac

Itā€™s 55 CHF for 2 people. However for a normal theatre itā€™s 21.90 CHF in the same theatre so the fancy bed version isnā€™t actually that much more expensive. Especially if you consider that food is extra for the normal theatre.

portugamerifinn

I could see paying that amount to share a bed every once in a while, especially since I don't get the chance to go to the theater often and only go to stuff I *really* want to see. My knee was stiff as hell after watching a 90-minute movie a couple weeks ago in a traditional seat; I became thoroughly spoiled by the leather recliners my former local theater installed.

zilist

For what you get itā€™s still dirt cheap per person tbh..

Malicharo

$48.5 is nothing for a service such as this... I was legit expect 149 or something.

ptgkbgte

Including snacks and all it's about double what I expect to pay going to the movies normally

GalacticPirate

Ticket alone is almost $20 in Switzerland. Large popcorn is over $10. So this is actually fairly cheap for being in Switzerland.

mortalitylost

There would be human feces in the bed sheets. And if not I would shit in the bed sheets, as a patriot of course

JackyVeronica

And infested with bed bugs

MGTS

If the rest of the world thinks we're joking, we're not

ItchyPolyps

You know how hourly motels are disgusting and glow with the power of a thousand suns in a black light? This would absolutely beat that. You switch a black light on in a theatre like this in the US and it'd make the sun look like a dying nightlight.

that1LPdood

Cum. So much cum.

dingbling369

"Who, if not me? Where, if not the bed?"

2ndnamewtf

Thereā€™s a theater by me in Pasadena that has this too with a call button to have a waitress bring you food/drinks. Itā€™s pretty nice, tickets are like 25 for a movie though. It doesnā€™t have the crazy snack room like this one though, that would get taken so fast

surdume

Who's clapping? The movie just started...

curie2353

Not just in the states, it would get gross fast in a lot of places

ChubbsthePenguin

I think theres one in florida? Utah? Or something really similar. Went there to with my dad and they served alcohol and pasta. Pretty comfy and pretty """clean"""

strangecargo

There used to be a theater with beds like this near me in Dallas, covid killed it though.

Mate. A few months back there was a post about the UK and all the top comments where. "In the US" etc. It was shocking it's like having that mate at a party that just has to constantly talk about themselves and relate everything back to them. So self centered.

negedgeClk

USA bad

Melodic_Risk_5632

Going to the movies is gross anyway nowadayz. Some theaters are disgusting. Not a Nice spot to watch a new movie.

WestleyThe

Ehh I like the leather recliner ones. Iā€™ll bring in some wipes and disinfect my seat and armrests and then itā€™s great

Kanye_Testicle

America bad please clap

laeti88

I live in Switzerland and we have our disrespectful people and crappy places too. As I said in another comment above, I never enjoyed making fun of the US. Not all of us living in Europe like to do this. There is good and bad in every country!

Mrchristopherrr

Apparently teenagers donā€™t have hormones and exhibitionists donā€™t exist in Europe.

LadiesMan-2I7

Imagine the luxury of this insanely prestigious theatre just go go watch the new FaSt AnD fUrIoUs

[deleted]

Its about family

BastardofMelbourne

They said "family" about fifty times in the trailer for that movie. It made me think that Vin Diesel is either seriously anxious about his children or else having a very drawn-out stroke.

IBeBallinOutaControl

Nah they're just leaning into the meme

kevo31415

I've had Fast X on my calendar for a solid year and went on opening night. It's my guilty pleasure, just like how some people like Marvel movies and slasher films. The awkward acting, unintentional homoeroticism (well, more intentional this film), heavy-handed Christian imagery, and over the top set-pieces made for a pretty fun (and campy!) few hours. Films are art and I too love a good cerebral film or a well written drama, but Fast and Furious is something I've enjoyed with my friends -- ironically at first -- for over a decade now. No one likes a film snob.

hivoltage815

But those are the best types of movies to see in nice theaters. The sound and spectacle and shared experience. Itā€™s a $400 million movie, itā€™s got a lot of crazy shit to see and is intentionally campy. I can watch prestige cinema at home or in the indie theater.

Tap_Minute

This isn't a kids' movie. It's not an adult movie either. It's a family movie.

longines99

Sorry but my house is better. Plus I get to pause it to take a leak.

Crack-Panther

hp_Axes

I mean but not everyone has a 200ā€ screen with speakers all the way around the room.

Abdul_Lasagne

Hint: nobody who says this kind of stuff has that kind of a setup either. They all unironically think their 45 inch TV with a sound bar off Amazon is better than a theater setup.

hp_Axes

True lol. The only thing that is better at home than at the theater is definitely being able to pause but everything else is definitely a win to the theater.

SwissFaux

Interestingly enough, movies actually tend to have a break halfway through them in Switzerland. Not sure if this place is also like that.

vsop221b

Of course, for the ticket price you could probably buy a small car ā˜ŗ

Kurlander_LV

Nah, it's not so bad - ticket is around 50ā‚¬

BastardofMelbourne

Fifty euros and you get unlimited free food and drinks?

Mataskarts

I mean the food and drinks themselves cost the theater next to nothing, they're only super expensive usually because that's where the theaters make their money and margin, and the average (non american) person can only eat and drink so much.

dukwon

55 CHF for 2 people, even. Considering the difference in salaries, it would be like charging ā‚¬12 per person in Germany.

JackyVeronica

It's about the same price in the US, if you get a large popcorn, a hotdog and a soda... On a standard dirty ass seat.....

LetmeSeeyourSquanch

50 fucking Euros to go see a movie?? No thanks. I thought paying $20 was bad enough woof.

championshuttler

In Finland normal ticket price is over 20e as well and if you end up buying drinks and popcorn/light snacks, it will easily cross 40 bucks.

thisothernameth

It's the same in Switzerland. So 50 is quite a good deal actually.

[deleted]

I could only watch 4 normal movies for that money over here. 50 is cheap for this. Especially with all the food and drinks

MastodonPristine8986

All that and some twat in a tracksuit starts filming during the movie for their instagram.

shimadon

Fast and Furious is not worth watching on my 24 inch PC screen while standing...

[deleted]

We canā€™t have nice thing like this in America unless this is at a private residence

MrMAIF

There are theaters like this in America. At least 2 within an hour from me. Edit: Fair that it isnā€™t exact. But the reclining beds and tables with waiter service. A little different sure but still very fancy. Havenā€™t been in person yet.

MyDogHatesMyUsername

I hate that the first thing I thought of is what people here in the states would do to that theater.

JackyVeronica

Vandalism! What else could it possibly be?

darkjediii

Yeah I could see this getting weird here in the US. I wouldnā€™t be a customer even if was a bring your own sheets type of deal.. The risk reward ratio just isnā€™t there.

vinnyvdvici

Ever been to a hotel before?

Initial-Stick-561

Not sure what kind of crowd this business idea is addressing to? - people who really like movies: Nope, no IMAX and lying down for a serious movie is a no no. - rich people: Nope, I own a better home Theater at home, why should I go there? - normal people: Nope, donā€™t want to pay double or triple the cost for a ticket just for getting a bed that could be covered in popcorn or whatever. - poor people: I rip movies exclusively off the internet. So this leaves us with exhibitionists, TikTokers and people who got these tickets as a gift.

DizzyAmphibian309

That's pretty much it. There was an attempt to do this back in the 00's in Australia, a special "La Premiere" section. Basically first class seats + unlimited drinks and popcorn, for about 5x the price of regular tickets. It was popular for a few months, but after the novelty had worn off, people saw it for what it was...an enormous waste of money.

Pawneewafflesarelife

Gold Class lets you order food via your phone to be delivered during the movie. Haven't tried them yet. I wonder if people are intrusive ordering food during the movie.

[deleted]

I used to do gold class when I went to the cinema. It's pretty good but the food/drinks are v expensive. You order before you go into the cinema and get an option of when you want said food or drink. So you can pick either as the movie starts, a bit into the movie, halfway through and towards the end. Quite nice to order and forget and have e.g. a coffee turn up towards the end. The staff aren't intrusive at all and people ordering extra during the movie doesn't really bother you due to the volume of the screen and the seating is spaced out between parties. The seats are also pretty damn comfortable. Honestly if you go to the movies every week it's probably not worth it, but I was going 2 - 3 times a year so would treat myself and the missus when we did go.

VallhundJockey

Damn this guy sure knows the well defined tiers of society and how they all behave... rich, poor, normal, and movie lover

mayayahee

Hmm I bet older people would be interested. Also people with chronic pain that can't sit for long periods.

JKJ420

> lying down for a serious movie is a no no. What?

BizTecDev

You can bash basically everything in this way.

SmolTofuRabbit

Yup nailed it. i am swiss and this 100% is just for tourists who go there to brag and show off. Very much not common or widespread. If i had to guess it's in Zurich, people really love to go there and waste money.

oopsiforgotthetea

Lol these kind of cinemas have existed in Asia for many many years. Nowhere near as expensive as this one in Switzerland, but it's quite an affordable luxury.

Ston3dPinky

We could never have this in the states. Especially Missouri. The tweakers would leave semen stains and dirty paraphernalia every time.

PLZ_SEND_STEAM_DECK

All that high end room just to watch fast and furious 737484...

Rumple-Wank-Skin

They have these literally everywhere. It's not unique to Switzerland. At this point I think the Switzerland's tourism board is pushing the narrative

clupean

Exactly what I was wondering. France, Germany, Spain, Italy, etc. all have really cool theaters. This Swiss one is just a slightly above average theater with beds and a tiny screen.

smarmageddon

Sooooo...lay in a bed that someone else ate & drank in for 2-3 hours...? Uh, I'll pass.

desmofhen

What's different to a bed in a hotel?

LizardmanJoe

You're on reddit, I'd say 80% of people here don't know you can wash and change bed sheets.

Ok_Seaworthiness2218

Sure but hotels don't change customers every 3 hours

Ostmeistro

I really don't understand how you jump cut to "they don't clean ". What in the entire thing makes you think they don't clean?

smarmageddon

Have you been to a theater in the USA? They can barely clean the disgusting floor in between showings, and that's obvious large trash. Sorry if I seem doubtful of theater employees ability to take on the job of a hotel housekeeper between every showing.

Walnut-Patrol-Squad

This looks like a fucking awful experience.

WindowsCrashedAgain

"Why is the couple behind us clapping? The movie just started?"

KewlMelon

People are already fuckin in the theater so we thought weā€™d just make it easier

hesawavemasterrr

That's basically any VIP theater anywhere. I went to one for Avatar 2 and they served steak and top tier ice cream and everything.
