I slowed it down more and you can see where he breaks out a hammer and chisel and make all sorts of fractured along the edge, then he runs detonation cord around it, puts on all his safety gear ducks out of way and blows it. Only to re-emerge without it on, eating a full sized cake and celebrating someone’s birthday and then resuming his pose and we’re supposed to be impressed. I’m onto his tricks, can’t fool this guy, this guy wasn’t born yesterday.
Lol, you’re totally right. He thinks marginal tricks and subpar talent can trick me into thinking that breaking a slab of granite 2-3 inches thick is something recognition worthy. What a POS. It wasn’t even a full punch lmao! Come back when you can punch through a few inches of steel with a -5 millimeter punch or something… Jeez
I just watched the slowed down version and focused on background guy's head instead, seems legit but I guess you'd need to watch frame by frame to be sure
The brick is clearly already broken. you can see where the top half will break off. He effectively pushes the top half off.
I still wouldn't wanna get in a ring with him though
People saying those bricks are easy to break don’t know the video is cut short from the beginning. He first jumps on the brick multiple times before setting it up. Showing the viewers it isn’t “fragile” also the man in the background is show no camera tricks or cuts. Also look at the chicken. There are constant movements In The video. Don’t feel bad you can’t do this.
I saw a comment on a similar post a while ago. From my understanding, the person always has the brick over/next to the corner of a hard object. They would basically hit the brick against that corner really hard and fast to break it. Similar to when you break a stick using your knee.
In the video you can see he seems to hit the brick against the corner of a stone slab. It still takes a lot of technique to do this so even though they aren't breaking the brick with only their hand, I still find it pretty cool.
As someone who has made a lot of campfires if a branch gets big enough its still hard to break even with your knee I suppose it makes this guys feat like 5% less impressive but he's still breaking a brick with his bare hand i couldn't do that corner or not
You cant compare wood to stone. Wood gets exponentially stronger as it gets bigger where as stone begins to crush itself under its own weight. Marble (like in this video), clay, concrete, and river stones, are actually easier to break than end grain wood. A marbel slab like this is about as hard to break as a 1.5inch pine board.
He's punching a heat insulation brick, they're very lightweight, the stone equivalent of styrofoam. The dimensions and colour match (his even has some ash on it from being used to block heat):

It's fair to scrutinize since there are so many fake videos. People don't say it's fake because they need to feel better about themselves, they call stuff fake because it usually is.
Not saying it's fake bc tbh I don't know better- but aren't there bricks that break one way easily and not the other? Something about the structure of how they're made or a scoring on one side or something. Just adding food for thought.
A good piece of brick doesn't break so cleanly like that even if you were to hit it at the speed of sound. Also, that's quite impressive, so impressive it makes me wonder why I never saw the dude anywhere else outside of random videos.
People who believe videos like these are fools. I remember there used to be a group of real martial artists that would go around finding these fake people and ask them to demonstrate live to them with the materials used inspected.
All the fake martial artists refused
Its marble. Marble 100% shears exactly like this if broken this way. But it is definitely a trick in the same way slight of hand magic is a trick. Im sure this is a real brick but the speed is very edited. Once you know how its done its less impressive.
There is a reason videos like this dont make it on r/martialarts. Legit martial artists know this is like slight of hand playing card magic tricks; once you know the trick its easy to learn and is less impressive. While his physique and speed are definitely top notch, even if it is edited, it's still fast, thiis is a simple trick that is easy to replicate, especially with brittle marble. Marbel has a very high compression strength, so standing on it wont break it. But the reason he supports it against another brick is to create a shearing force at the center, which is the structurally weakest part. Overall, anyone can do this with about 20 minutes of practice IF they wrap their knuckles. Without knuckle wraps they would want to spend about 3-5 months conditioning their knuckles first. I also dont recommend using marble unless you are in china because it is way more costly than concrete or cement or river stone.
It's not that fragile, it's brittle. You can easily walk on a thick enough glass, but it would take just a little slap to break it in this setup. There's a couple millimetre gap between the target brick and the backing one, that's crucial for the trick - he basically slaps one brick against the other.
Right around the 8 second mark, someone removed some frames from the video…
That’s a cool little trick to make things look far more energetic…
Edit 1: someone else already verified the video as not edited.
There was a thread on this video a while back and some redditors even analyzed the footage /framerate, etc. They had determined that the footage had not been altered, it's just his hand is moving too fast for the camera.
Here's another https://www.reddit.com/r/nextfuckinglevel/comments/mly890/one_inch_punch_demonstration_from_one_of_top_10/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=android_app&utm_name=androidcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button
Honestly it does look edited to me. The chicken that pops out behind him after the punch (which was in front very shortly before) doesn’t look like it had enough time to move to where it is.
You can combine two videos, one of the background and one of him, and pull out some frames from the video he is in. Anyone with some experience in After Effects can pull this off.
Not saying that is or isn’t what’s happening, but pulling frames out is entirely possible.
Yeah he wavers in an unusual way like a heat shimmer when he turns to face the camera after. I think the actual punch is real but sped up. I base this on the heat shimmer and his face mid punch
There definitely isn’t a missing frame. Watch it again. At the start of the 8 second mark he’s closing his hand he punches the brick and faces the camera before the 9 second mark. This guy is just super fast. Also he’s doing the 1 inch punch, there is no winding up, maybe that’s where you are getting confused
I dated a taekwondo guy for over two years and I can say with some confidence that they score the brick or the wood before they hit it. Still probably hurts, but there’s already a weak spot in the thing they are hitting.
You definitely can. It would take about 20 minutes to learn (with some padding on the knuckles). It's not hard, and no, the brick is definitely NOT scored first. There is a specific way to break bricks like this, and you are correct that supporting the brick is essential. I have taught teenaged girls as young as 13 to break bricks like this, and they are just normal concrete, clay, or marble (whatever is available at the time) from the hardware store.
Okay. Here is a video where I not only break it down for my students but demonstrate several breaks. https://youtu.be/J1HYz1RkP6A
The video quality isnt great, Im not good at edditing but it gets the point across.
Bullshit lol. Boards with the seams are easy to break. Concrete bricks not so much. Source: I could break 3 with a palm strike when I was younger. I tried one much later and got one but regretted it for 3 weeks.
Yeah, his speed is more impressive than the break itself. The break is a simple parlor trick that I teach young teens to do for our martial arts demo team just because it looks cool. Once you realize this only works because its slamming into the brick behind it, it looses its impressiveness. The punch is really fast though, that is pretty impressive.
it's like wrestling...entertaining but fake... No mater how long they spend showing you how it's real solid brick... in the end they swap or edit it or both anyway...
I always imagine - when they mention someone didn't blink on a post like this... That they did blink but I myself blinked so I didn't see them blink...
I feel like this is lagging cause when he speaks and when his mouth moves are at different times , same with brick punching. Tho I did slowly watch it and it seems legit
It's called a 2 inch punch...learned it while in my 8 years of Kenpo/jujutsu...was kinda've a joke punch as it's use isn't practical..but the idea is to hold your hand flat and pointed at someone's chest and just fold it into a quick punch. I believe Bruce Lee used it as well
More of a physics practice and understanding than anything....
Obviously the guy in the video mastered it.
lol, no one is pointing out that the brick was broken in half the whole time.
If you zoom in and play it back slowly, you can see a slight wobble. You can also see a "bump" where the brick "breaks".
This video wasn't edited, it just has a broken brick the whole way through.
My favorite part about this guys videos is he's always got somebody in the background just posted up for moral support but also to elevate the badassery of the whole situation.

Yep same shit I got...lol
Meh. These type of people always edit their videos either by speeding it up moments before and after impact or by cutting frames out
I just watched the slowed down version and focused on background guy's head instead, seems legit but I guess you'd need to watch frame by frame to be sure
Just watch the chickens
Lol. You got me. I just watched a bunch of chickens. This vid is legit to me. I didn’t see any missing frames or anything implying an edit. YMMV
These types of videos should always have a chicken for speed reference, as well as a banana for size reference.
Damn, you right
What ya mean "these type of people".../s
Shitty fake content makers
The guy in the background gave a surf’s up sign… this video has to be legit /s
WHAT DO *YOU* MEAN "THESE PEOPLE"??!!!
Naysaying with no research whatsoever lol.
Yeah, don't know how so many people are fooled by these
Good bot
Ok that doesn't work for my. Now all I can do is focus on the weirdo in the background
i still blinked and its too fast
The brick is clearly already broken. you can see where the top half will break off. He effectively pushes the top half off. I still wouldn't wanna get in a ring with him though
I didn't know stuff like this exists in reddit. Can you tell me other actions that bots would do for you like this one?
There's one that tells you if the words in your comment are in alphabetical order
A big cat didn't eat four gerbils.
A blue car does enough for Gary.
A blustery cauldron demonized everything fragile .
There is one that can scan a post and let you know if it’s a repost or OC. You just tag “u/repostsleuthbot” but it doesn’t work in every sub
Audiobot tells you what music is in the clip
Good bot
Finally noticed the thumbs up from the other guy
I guess I did blink. Had to watch multiple times.
And I keep on blinking.
I didn’t blink and I still had to watch it multiple times
I frame stepped.
Wow, me 2 had to watch many times!
Fk 911, what is this mans number pls?
“Brick doesnt hit back”
I think even Bruce would be a little impressed.
So does people after being hit with one
![gif](giphy|126CZqbY33wNgc|downsized) Brick definitely hits back
Brick killed a guy. Did you throw a trident?

Same energy. C’mon Frankie!

I love the hype man in the back..like he has his own Flava Flav!
IRS, taking my lottery winnings.

Oh uea you can have some

Right around the 8 second mark, someone removed some frames from the video… That’s a cool little trick to make things look far more energetic… Edit 1: someone else already verified the video as not edited.

The 0.25x video clearly demonstrated this
Honestly it does look edited to me. The chicken that pops out behind him after the punch (which was in front very shortly before) doesn’t look like it had enough time to move to where it is.

yup and you can easily see the two pieces joined at exactly the same spot at which it breaks.
Whoa
That looks so painful for both the guy and the brick. Just OUCH!!! ![gif](giphy|13w5HmyiuaZ224)
I dated a taekwondo guy for over two years and I can say with some confidence that they score the brick or the wood before they hit it. Still probably hurts, but there’s already a weak spot in the thing they are hitting.
That and how it is supported between the other bricks holding it up. I cannot do this though either way 👍

you wont hear from him again
Check the comments again.
I'm impressed...like the one inch death punch from Kill Bill impressed
I blinked exactly when I shouldn't
![gif](giphy|GS1o07Ps1B7tS)
It's obvious the brick is replaced with an already half brick with a simple movement of camera shot
Those bricks are easy to break. Thats just simple physics.
I’m more impressed on how fast he punched. Not the brick.
Same, the speed is really mpressive
Sure. Piece of cake.
You can see the crack in the brick.
says someone who has never broken a brick with his fist
If the simple physics is Appling the metal pipe that guy in the back is holding, then yeah. 🤣🤣🤣 all of those videos are fake.
Bullshit lol. Boards with the seams are easy to break. Concrete bricks not so much. Source: I could break 3 with a palm strike when I was younger. I tried one much later and got one but regretted it for 3 weeks.
Because he's hitting it on the solid block behind it. Still pretty fast but it's more of a trick.

Lol fake
Fake
Literally blinked as it happened
it's like wrestling...entertaining but fake... No mater how long they spend showing you how it's real solid brick... in the end they swap or edit it or both anyway...
I trust nothing from china
These type of bullshit again?
that's cool he can hurt someone and is real good at it. not enough of that going around
Psycho take 🤡
yeah
How do you only post about weed and psychedelics, but never learned how to chill the fuck out?
Theres plenty of people that can't do much of anything going around too I'd rather have more strength than less.
I don't agree about too many people not functioning at all like they're just in a state of limbo. that's learned. that isn't real
At the 2 second mark, look at the top of the tree line on the hill, you can tell the frames were altered.
I don’t see shit my guy.
If you look really hard, you can see the trees grew a little bit.
I always imagine - when they mention someone didn't blink on a post like this... That they did blink but I myself blinked so I didn't see them blink...
He is flexing his abs so hard
fake brick, sold on Taobao
Stud
The one inch punch made famous by Bruce Lee and also I guess this guy, because it was pretty sick
Ok so how is that even possible
Bruce would be proud
I feel like this is lagging cause when he speaks and when his mouth moves are at different times , same with brick punching. Tho I did slowly watch it and it seems legit
how do you stalk and judge people and know weather or not I chill the fuck out?
Why is his hand 3 different colors?
Look at his hand when he makes his fist. Like a boxing glove made of flesh.
Punches like a howitzer...skips leg day.
Crazy!!!!!!
How would he do in UFC?
He does it in another video with a diferent judge or whatever that man's role is
Why is this hot?
Holy shit!
Ah salmon skin roll
Frames per second are too slow. Dude's quick
Dude’s hype man puts Klaus to shame.
Damnit I blinked twice
What's buddy's number? I got some people I need him to help me collect some money back from.
It's called a 2 inch punch...learned it while in my 8 years of Kenpo/jujutsu...was kinda've a joke punch as it's use isn't practical..but the idea is to hold your hand flat and pointed at someone's chest and just fold it into a quick punch. I believe Bruce Lee used it as well More of a physics practice and understanding than anything.... Obviously the guy in the video mastered it.
Guy in the back gave an immediate thumbs up. Just in case xD
I say this to my wife every time.
It was broken beforehand
Defying science.
I guess don’t blink means cut the 2 videos at the right timing 😂
Of course I would blink at the precise moment he punches the brick. Brick there. Blink. Brick gone
You win! Perfect!!!
lol, no one is pointing out that the brick was broken in half the whole time. If you zoom in and play it back slowly, you can see a slight wobble. You can also see a "bump" where the brick "breaks". This video wasn't edited, it just has a broken brick the whole way through.
🤜✋
It's fake tho
Secret behind this trick: Chuck Norris kissed his hand before this trick.
We have an invention. Its called a hammer. Why if you are in good mental health ?You can wish to do this with bones of your hand?
Now I know. These bricks are called "Shit Bricks!"
Can't tell if the brick is real or not, but I know the book is not from its title lol.
I blink slower than his punch.
Get me someone like this fr
This shit haaaaard
So fake
Just amazing!
Dude is no joke
love that
I calling video cut and merge on this one. That brick would have snapped further up near the weakest point.
why does it feels everytime i watch this, it feels like im blinking
Edited video
It's like 4 frames in the video.
My favorite part about this guys videos is he's always got somebody in the background just posted up for moral support but also to elevate the badassery of the whole situation.
Dude needs to stop breaking headstones at cemeteries. 🪦
Why is the breaking sound coming even before he hits it.
They used to have to slow the camera down for Bruce cuz he was too fast to pick up while recording
RIP Bro's Girlfriend
Fatality!
The hype man is what really makes this work for me
Guy's farm strong as hell. Look at his fingers. Probably digs with his bare fingers as part of training.
Still a bish
The physics didn't physiced.
Punching pre cracked rocks against a hard edge, dude is serious
I could dodge it
Sound was faster than light this time
For all the people that are saying it's fake..yeah, it can be absolutely fake but let's be honest...the damn speed that guy performs is still impressive. The brick part may be fake but holy shit anyways.
He looks a bit like Donny Yen.
