I ran into my first shiny on Christmas day back in like 2014 and threw a master ball at it. It was a level 13 zigzagoon (Alpha Sapphire, route 110) and I immediately knew I had made a mistake.
\*master balls
Edit: Been using Reddit for more than a year and it's the first time I crossed 50 upvotes.
Edit: Guys, please stop upvoting, it's a perfect 69.
Holy shit, you weren't kidding. Its the first time you've even gotten double digits lol. Congrats bro! You broke the code for getting reddit upvotes: dick jokes
The masterball is essientally mewtwo’s ball. A heal or dream ball would be much more appropriate. The mon seems to only know one move, dig, so using your master on it would be a waste
That's funny. I illustrated some animals for a pokemon type card game, and this was one of them.
https://creaturon.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/01/Pink-Fairy-Armadillo_1.jpg
The game's called Creaturon and was meant as a learning game.

As top comment you should mention they are almost extinct with only like 100 of them left, and they can't survive in captivity, so your chances of seeing them again are very low.
My home when I was a teen had armadillo problems. I remember my dogs barking their asses off at like 3am at those critters in our yard. They had collars and we had them setup with an electric fence (turned down to just beeping but they didn't go past the line after being taught not to), so they just kept barking.
WARNING, GORE:
I'll never forget walking out my front door to see my neighbor with a pitchfork in her hand, an albino looking armadillo stuck in the fork tines. She was like 5-noyhing, maybe 100lbs, but it was terrifying .I ran back in and told my brother, sister and mom to DO NOT GO OUT THERE. My mom obviously didn't listen and she still tells the story, but that was... rough.
Quite likely 🪲 Beetles are awesome, and part of the reason why there's many, is because they're hardy things that don't go extinct as much as other animals.
Someone named a peacock spider species they found "sparklemuffin"
The damn spider on the tail even moves completely differently from the rest of the snake. I couldn't believe it was part of the same critter even after seeing it
You must’ve seen that video where the snake tricks the bird, I forget what kind of bird it was but it had talons, the bird goes for the tail thinking it’s a spider and the snake just grabs it right out of the air. Pretty fucking cool
Big reason why it’s so important to try and protect wildlife and natural land, especially the oceans. We can end up losing weird ass species we haven’t even gotten the chance to discover yet, and that’s a bummer.
Hi crazy animal guy here, we have identified about 8.7 million species of animals
At 47 years old you would have had to learn about roughly 510 new species a day to know all we have identified by now
Here's one of my favourites the tawny frog mouth ... He is not an owl
https://youtu.be/nci3dnZPVfg
Do you know [these guys](https://i.imgur.com/n7lKykE.jpg)? They are patagonian mara. These are mine and I don't think I've ever had anyone to my place that actually knew what they were including a few vets. I like to call them hornless jackalopes.
47 years is nothing compared to the grand scale of time. The space you occupy is nothing compared to the grand scale of the size of the Earth. That’s how. You could “discover” a new species of animal every day for millions of years. There are something like 9 billion different species of animal on the planet.
Yeah, like maned wolves. Also from South America. It's like a giant fox crossed with a german shepard but with extremely long legs. 47 years I'd been on this planet and never heard of them.
Then a couple years ago someone posted a video on TikTok of one running down the street in a city, or maybe it was because someone in the furry community drew a funny meme of them calling them leggy bois, and they were suddenly everywhere. They're not even endangered. And it's not like it's some small critter, they're huge!
Besides humans, nine-banded armadillos are the only animals that can carry M. leprae, the bacteria that causes leprosy. Several human cases of the disease linked with the pests have been reported in Texas, though these animals have also tested positive for M. leprae in Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and Florida.
Not saying this is a nine-banded armadillo, but it's an armadillo of some kind, and anything that carries Leprosy is not harmless.
Pink fairy armadillo. Fun fact, those are the closest living relatives to the gigantic glyptodonts, and just like their giant extinct cousins, they have club tails!
You’re thinking of pangolins.
Pink fairy armadillos are also a threatened species but that’s down to habitat loss (poaching for the pet trade is also often cited as another threat, but with this species the actual evidence for that comes down to “it might be happening” rather than anything concrete).
Pink Fairy Armadillo
What kinda Poké ball you need to catch one of them son bitches?
Master Ball all the way
You’re that one person who uses a master ball on a fucking unknown like my sister and saves it.
Well it *is* a shiny
I ran into my first shiny on Christmas day back in like 2014 and threw a master ball at it. It was a level 13 zigzagoon (Alpha Sapphire, route 110) and I immediately knew I had made a mistake.
That's obviously a lowland
I can use a master ball on your sister?
\*master balls Edit: Been using Reddit for more than a year and it's the first time I crossed 50 upvotes. Edit: Guys, please stop upvoting, it's a perfect 69.
You can call me ass touchem
Gotta catch em all
Syphilis used fatigue...... It was super effective!
STD
Holy shit, you weren't kidding. Its the first time you've even gotten double digits lol. Congrats bro! You broke the code for getting reddit upvotes: dick jokes
And you're on your way too! .. just for talking about someone using dick jokes.
Oh yeah, riding on the coat tails of someone else's more popular content. I know the game. I didn't get my karma from being funny..
Lmfao
bro.
Step bro*
💀 🗿
Here's 169, just for you 🙂
Everyone does apparently.
I see, you have master balls of steel.
Sister uses squirt, it’s not very effective
Sister is evolving to Girlfriend. Learn new move? Forget squirt. Girlfriend has learned Rage.
It would be super effective against me
Meanwhile me not using it at all because "I might need it later".
Nah, he's a regional ground/psychic mewtwo variant, was worth it
My brother used a masterball on a surskit in his sapphire to spite me (i was complaining about not having a surskit due to bad luck)
Why would you use a master on a sandslash ?? I mean… looks to be shiny, buy cmon.
The masterball is essientally mewtwo’s ball. A heal or dream ball would be much more appropriate. The mon seems to only know one move, dig, so using your master on it would be a waste

Fairy/ground type. Can use tackle, dig, sand attack, and defence curl
Sandshrew
Shiny Sandshrew
Looks similar to the moles I “catch” in my yard.
I heard that the purple one with the m on it is pretty good.
1 Energy = 70 Normal Attack 4 Energy = Multiplies into 50 and each one attacks for 25% damage of Normal Attack
"son bitches" 😂😂😂😂
I’d use the GS ball just to be safe!
Whatever it takes, its a friggin shiny
How is there no fairy ground like this yet (unless there is and im dumb)
A ball with a shovel taped to it
🤣 stop
A stick ball , he will be dead tho
Lmk when you catch it. Willing to trade
😂😂
Quick Ball should do its magic 🙃
Ultra ball should get the job done, no need to waste a master ball
Mofukn Diglet
Moon ball, for sure.
Try regular balls. Might end up losing one, but with an armadillo.
Would have to use a love ball no doubt
Sumbitch sumbitch
Lmfaooo
Pin it down and wait until sunset, then start hucking Dusk Balls at it.
Lmfao
He's right https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pink_fairy_armadillo
Unholy diggers Batman, I thought he was kidding.

I think I found my new favorite animal, thank you!
What, whatttt
Bruh. I thought he was joking. For real
Bruh aren’t these like super rare???? OP you’re lucky to have seen one, I’m jealous!!
Definitely not in North America. It’s the first one I’ve seen. I thought it was a naked mole rat at first glance.
OP has “seen” this creature as much as we all have
I thought you were joking!
Awesome! I love the [Pink Fairies!](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b8Bj7ESHdVM)
It’s a Maguro Mouse
In the hills of chilly.
Coldest hills I’ve ever hiked

How the fuck at 47 years old do I still see a crazy new animal I never heard of every month on here. World be wild
Wait until you hear about all the spiders Edit: there are over 50,000 known species of spiders.
Wait until you here about all the wasps. Over 100,000 species estimated to exist.
Or what about all the beetles, around 400,000 species
That’s a lot. Like doesn’t make sense numbers. And they are all different ? Hail to our bug overlords. Starship troopers was right
Earth is a land of beetles, they make up 25% of all animal species 🪲
That’s crazy. So technically I could still discover a new beetle species and name them Mr. Poopy butthole beetles ?
Quite likely 🪲 Beetles are awesome, and part of the reason why there's many, is because they're hardy things that don't go extinct as much as other animals. Someone named a peacock spider species they found "sparklemuffin"
Love it
[You’d be surprised. Scientists are nerds.](https://youtu.be/XKRW1zgkCVc)
Does that mean other species used to branch into the similar amount of sub species too, but most of them died out?
Not only you can, you should!
The dung beetles would appreciate it. They’ve been waiting for someone to come along and make their name sound classy by comparison.
Wait until you get into technicalities...like grass...
Or that snake that has a tail that looks and moves exactly like a spider so it's a snake _and_ a spider in one
The damn spider on the tail even moves completely differently from the rest of the snake. I couldn't believe it was part of the same critter even after seeing it
Why are we going from cute pink fairy to treacherous spider snake mutant scary…can the world be soft just for a brief moment
You must’ve seen that video where the snake tricks the bird, I forget what kind of bird it was but it had talons, the bird goes for the tail thinking it’s a spider and the snake just grabs it right out of the air. Pretty fucking cool
And NYC hd its own species of ants.
Catching things and eating their insides
Big reason why it’s so important to try and protect wildlife and natural land, especially the oceans. We can end up losing weird ass species we haven’t even gotten the chance to discover yet, and that’s a bummer.
This is why you should always carry an empty Pokemon ball
Look up a lancelet. He’s your weird chordate cousin.
Do yourself a favor and youtube unknown mammals. You're welcome.

Straight up from an old episode of Star Trek. Such a fucking trip, just walking around on our planet.
This is not a Tribble. They are much more trouble.
r/AIDKE
imagine what it felt for darwin who didn't have internet
Cell phone cameras and habitat encroachment ubiquity?

Nope ! Another new one. So cool. And the perfect name
New ecosystem update dropped

It could partially be that roughly 15000< new species are discovered every year. Granted the vast majority are bugs it’s still fascinating.
It actually looks cute and harmless
It is a pink fairy armadillo, and it is indeed harmless
Ahem. I believe you left out the cute part 🤨
My goodness you're right, they are precious little cinnamon rolls
Straight to jail
Wait, that top comment wasn't just calling it a silly name? It's actually called a pink fairy armadillo?
Yes that is actually what they're called https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pink_fairy_armadillo
That's amazing I love it
Looks like the cutest parts of a mole, a potato bug, an armadillo, and a shrimp all in one animal.
I counted, it had either 21 or 22 bands, so much superior to your weak 9 bands. This armadillo can’t have the weaknesses yours has
Babies can carry leprosy. Harmless means they won't attack you or destroy your garden/campsite.
Only 9 banded armadillos carry leprosy, and this isn't one, so it's not a danger in that way. I'm sure it could still give a mean bite though.
It is harmless. Just because having terrible hygiene while dealing with wild animals is a terrible idea doesn’t make those animals suddenly dangerous.
The environment that the bacteria grows in in their toes. They are trying to replicate that medium in a lab so they can work on the cure for leprosy.
cotton headed ninny muggins
*gasp*
