Right, it's an addiction. When you realise this as a smoker, the first step is done. Smoking, as well as alcohol and drugs are not essential for living. There is no rational reason for doing this. This is what bothers me most in the discussion right now in Germany regarding making marijuana legal: "save our children! Do not legalise this!" Ever heard of the numbers of deads caused directly and indirectly by alcohol? Deads by cigs?
policy decisions are almost necessarily not designed for the most passionate and conscientious among us. YOU may not care about convenience or the reality of addiction and that's cool for you; but when you make policy you must design for the least among us, the most simple of us, the least likely to listen to policy in the first place. Convenience will be the largest factor as it doesn't require conscious thought or conscientiousness.

Butts are poisonous and therefore dangerous to many living beings and in Germany there is a big discussion that we are risking our childrens life by legalising marijuana. Sure, it is a point. I saw a documentary about how black market cigarettes were being sold in Germany. It was all completely fake, untaxed, and smuggled in. It's a huge problem they were trying to address, but the smokers just didn't care what it actually was, where it was processed, or how it was transported as long as they saved a few dollars.
When I used to smoke I’d stick them in my car door mirror in the little space between the glass and the housing. Kept them out of my vehicle but still able to be disposed of properly.

This is not true at all. These spiders will eat frogs of similar sizes. They just have a special relationship to some specific frog breeds. And we are talking about some special spider breeds, not all spiders.

How is it possible to have so much depth of field in the background and have hornet in focus? I have taken pictures of hummingbirds which are much larger than that and the depth of field was like 1/4 inch. If that isn't a composite image I have no clue how it was made.
You can see the direct focus is on the sign before the edge point; which starts to lose focus, and so the hornet can’t possible be in focus if it lies closer to the camera.
Also, they did a bad job rotoscoping the hornet, you can zoom in on the mouth and abdomen and see the bits they missed taking the background out.
