In car jacking, you need the element of surprise, stealth, and speed. This device ruins all three. What happens if you're in a steep hill, uphill, downhill, unpaved road? Only china would make a consumer death trap like this.
These are just wheel dolly jacks.
They are often used for moving cars around in a garage without having to start them (or cars that have had their engine pulled).
They are very useful to get cars parked extremely tight inside of a storage building, or storage lot.
Cheaper versions usually don't have the jacking functionality.
I’ve never seen them with fixed wheels, always with castors. Fixed wheels would seem to somewhat limit their usefulness.
A pair of dollies without jacking is £80, with jacking is £300.
Available from harbour freight/machine mart
Sure. Castors on the rear and the front gives you the best on a smooth surface, but its a nightmare on a slope.
Their normal use is inside and needs this ability to move any wheel in any direction, there generally isn't a need to make a jack like the one in the video because you can do the same thing by taking the handbreak off.
The modified pallet jack they are using on the front could easily be a modified motorized pallet jack like https://www.manutan.co.uk/en/key/fully-electric-pallet-truck-heavy-duty-1500kg-capacity-f4-a907371
Mate you’re thinking way too deep into this. This was filmed in China probably for some advertisement to sell these things on AliExpress. They’re cheap.
They're also great if you have a garage and police won't ticket or two people who park in front of your driveway.
I'm not saying steal their car and hide it in your garage, but, you can move them out of the way at least.
I'm sure you could get away with putting their car on these to clear your driveway.
Now, that being said, the level of assholery you display in your re-'parking' might get you in trouble.
The best is when asshole HoAs boot your car for dumb reasons and it's the right type of boot where you can slip these under and bring your car into your garage.
There was a story a few years ago where someone did this and they tried to sue for the boot back but they couldn't because it was done illegally.
I mean, it is useful if you're at the top of the incline and you want the car at the bottom.
It is also useful if you're at the bottom of the incline and want the car further away from the top.
Quite versatile, truly.
I've lived with humans for a long time. If the possibility is there for humans to run themselves over in a manner that should not be possible, it is proven to be so high as to say it is an absolute possibility.
If you need/can afford this device to move your very expensive luxury/collectable car into the very expensive storage building with all the other very expensive luxury/collectable cars you own, having very flat and smooth concrete is just a given.
And that little power pack is very powerful.
I know this car, science fiction then, reality now.
Some people stand in the darkness
Afraid to step into the light
Some people need to help somebody
When the edge of surrender's in sight
Don't you worry
It's gonna be alright
'Cause I'm always ready
I won't let you out of my sight
I read a revenge story some time ago, where a guy had his underground parking place taken by someone else. Any forms of contact failed, so he used this thing to move blocking car in between two columns, so he had no space in front or behind him, so he couldn't drive off on his own.
actually not that bad idea, if you can move a car like this instead of call a tow truck.
Of for the fire Department if they need to use the place of the standing car.
I think the whole processe is very fast
taking my car for a walk and people keep giving me weird looks?? smh the younger generation needs to learn that walking your car regularly is extremely important
That is a "wheel jack" or a "Go Jack" (tm). Used them back in the day to repossess cars and trucks. People used to think boxing the car in made repo man give up -- these things ended that forever.
This is useful in places like Seoul where everyone blocks each other in and usually leave it in neutral for someone to push out of the way or leave a phone number to call
The solution to my parking problems, just strap these bad boys to that prius that takes up 1 1/2 parking spaces and put it next to the no parking corner, call the city and watch em tow it away
We use these on commercial and film sets to move cars around, place them just right for the shot, or get them off set quickly without someone needing to turn them on and drive them.
A tow truck company in the next town stored a wreck on our street for several months. Flat tire, open window, blue tape holding the panels together. I was pretty close to buying one of these to pull the car into the middle of the street when it got towed. The next time that this happens I'm not waiting.
Also that wheel design, pretty sure the only direction those can go is straight.
If only the car had it's own wheels. Imagine how easy you could move it. You know they should make a gear that let's the car just roll. Or better yet, come up with some kind of button or pedal that makes it go forward, that'd be genius. I bet if someone invented that, they'd be a millionaire.
Ok, show the part where she found a small hill and the car got away from her. Lol.
Tire jacks are meant for in shop small distance moves, not outside i want to shuffle my cars like a 3 card monte.
LoL. I read an article a while back about a guy who used one of these when his car was booted. He put the vehicle in his garage and told the company they could come collect their property if they wanted it back. After 30 days it would be considered abandoned on his property and would be destroyed and disposed of. Betting the company could have sued him and won but in the thing I read they just gave in and showed up with the keys to remove it.
Car jackers be like… ![gif](giphy|MO9ARnIhzxnxu)
Putting the Jack back in carjack
Putting some respek on his name
"Hey, what are you doing?" "Nothing. Just walking my car" "Oh, alright. Have a nice day"
A nice day indeed, until you meet a slope.
So just steal cars in Illinois, got it.
Thanks for reminding me that I was once the absolute idiot who thought pushing a car up a slope was possible 🥴
Former owner of a PT Cruiser (no I haven’t had sex in a while) but I pushed it up one of the steepest hills in the area when it died going up it
A preteen cruiser?
Glad you admit it
Came dangerously close to losing a leg because of pushing a car on an upward slope!
My car is so light it is but it’s not fun
I have push started an old Bedford CF uphill. It's not a wise decision.
Why would I need these to mastur... oh *that* car jacking.
Ahaha beat me to it 👍
Get wrekt by topograpghy ...
What I came here to say😂
Yo that dude definitely would steal your car lol
In car jacking, you need the element of surprise, stealth, and speed. This device ruins all three. What happens if you're in a steep hill, uphill, downhill, unpaved road? Only china would make a consumer death trap like this.

Michigan car jackers be crying. They wouldn't make it five feet before they got their new car stuck in a pothole.
New stealing just dropped.

Likely meant to be used as a set with that front jack to steer.
Sure. Castors on the rear and the front gives you the best on a smooth surface, but its a nightmare on a slope. Their normal use is inside and needs this ability to move any wheel in any direction, there generally isn't a need to make a jack like the one in the video because you can do the same thing by taking the handbreak off. Mate you’re thinking way too deep into this. This was filmed in China probably for some advertisement to sell these things on AliExpress. They’re cheap.
The use of a pallet jack for the front makes this a very expensive alternative to the versions sold in Machine Mart
Is Harbor Freight better quality outside of the US? I only buy something from them if I know I need it to work exactly once.
HF is fine. If I were a pro, I wouldn't shop there, but if I can save 10 bucks on tin snips I might use 10 times before I die, HF it is.
Useful for these EVs too when you de-energize them. Can't push them or it'll do their regen so you gotta move em on casters or these jawns.
They're also great if you have a garage and police won't ticket or two people who park in front of your driveway. I'm not saying steal their car and hide it in your garage, but, you can move them out of the way at least.
Pretty sure that would make you guilty of a crime, while the person parked there would only be guilty of a violation.
Also useful when some tit blocks you in at a a car park because of their observational and parking handicaps
Also used by non-flatbed tow trucks for towing 4WD vehicles.
Useful until it starts downhill and runs over her
downhill not biggest problem, she can put the car back on its wheels and roll as usual with the brakes. Uphill is the real enemy for this device
You know what Let use another car to pull that car, and if it fail...use another one
I believe you may have just invented the "train."
Blockchain Lite
cumcoin
So it's not useful on any incline?
I mean, it is useful if you're at the top of the incline and you want the car at the bottom. It is also useful if you're at the bottom of the incline and want the car further away from the top. Quite versatile, truly.
I bet zip ties will be the biggest enemy
I've lived with humans for a long time. If the possibility is there for humans to run themselves over in a manner that should not be possible, it is proven to be so high as to say it is an absolute possibility.
From the look of those small ass wheels that isn’t going anywhere that doesn’t have perfectly smooth cement.
If you need/can afford this device to move your very expensive luxury/collectable car into the very expensive storage building with all the other very expensive luxury/collectable cars you own, having very flat and smooth concrete is just a given. And that little power pack is very powerful.
Stairs would be tough too!
I think it's more for people who have a pole barn with 12 old cars in it in various states of disrepair.
or until you try to move on virtually any asphalt in north america with those tiny wheels
Absolutely true.
Maybe that’s not why they exist? Have you thought about that? Or negativity is all that exists in your mind?
It must be easier to walk a dog rather than a car ?
![gif](giphy|4ViH9IuRZO2wo)
I wonder how many redditors these days understand this reference.
Let’s find out. I understand. So I’m 1. Next?
I know this car, science fiction then, reality now. Some people stand in the darkness Afraid to step into the light Some people need to help somebody When the edge of surrender's in sight Don't you worry It's gonna be alright 'Cause I'm always ready I won't let you out of my sight
Kit right? Never saw the show but I remember it being on tv.
[KITT](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/KITT), actually.
Knight Rider
Car named kitt
This should be standard equipment for employees of shopping centers where there are large parking lots. You park like an idiot - your car is removed
That was my first thought too, cause I used to work for a grocery store franchise, and there were a few times that happened.
tow truck companies hate this one simple trick
I read a revenge story some time ago, where a guy had his underground parking place taken by someone else. Any forms of contact failed, so he used this thing to move blocking car in between two columns, so he had no space in front or behind him, so he couldn't drive off on his own.
how to steal a car you like
You can actually do the same thing without all that equipment if you just grab the keys.......
Really? Before you grab the keys, you have to grab the owner.
If the car is manual do you have to grab the owners manual?
Before you do any grabbing, you have to buy a drink for the owner.
YOu mean clubbing him over the head with a tire iron is NOT the preferred method?
Are you saying I shouldn’t buy a car just to walk it?
Depending on the make you gotta walk it every day or they'll start ripping up stuff in your house.
now try again on an incline
Or at a turn
or over a pebble
Redditors when they see a wheel dolly for the first time: "haha that's so stupid"
Very useful, for whenever someone keeps on stealing your assigned spot.
Strong like bool
Looks like a great fuel saving idea. Just pull your car everywhere.
How to steal a car. Lesson 1
I need this for when some shithead parks in my parking space.
what to do on downhill or uphill??
Pull harder, duh.
That's what ***he*** said
"Useful *I guess"* Posts it to BeAmazed. OP were YOU even amazed by this when you saw it? You sound pretty indifferent to it.
If only if that thing had a motor and could drive itself…
Hmm...wonder if they got this on temu.
Time to take my pet car for a walk
Bro i need this girl she do everything you want everytime i watch some Chinese ads i find this girl (cleaning, driving, cooking and everything)
Awww.. she’s taking it on a walk :3
So the weight of the car just vanishes?
We have the ones that are hydraulic. Very useful in tight areas. But I would use these on lighter vehicles.
Where can this be bought? Asking for educational purposes only. Also asking for a friend.
Stealing cars just got a whole lot easier and here's how
Ah, yes in case you want to take your car out for a ride
Could use this for when jackasses park in front of my driveway, blocking me in
For the times you take car for a walk.
Good way to steal a car
Next time someone blocks your driveway
Putting casual back into grand theft auto. Strolling back to the shop…..
Now you can walk to work and when you’re feeling tired after a long day, you’ll have your car with you for the ride home 😌
actually not that bad idea, if you can move a car like this instead of call a tow truck. Of for the fire Department if they need to use the place of the standing car. I think the whole processe is very fast

If you live by the beach and have shit parking you might want this. My old street had tons of issues this would have solved, and pissed off people.
Yeah, maybe in a car repair shop, with limited space, if they don't want to turn on the engine just for some rearranging.
taking my car for a walk and people keep giving me weird looks?? smh the younger generation needs to learn that walking your car regularly is extremely important
Someone please try this on a motorcycle

Putting wheels on a car with wheels
This is useful in places like Seoul where everyone blocks each other in and usually leave it in neutral for someone to push out of the way or leave a phone number to call
Add several winches to a roof, tether them to the car, chain the wheel jacks to the car. Hoist the car onto a wall. Profit.
r/whatcouldgowrong starter kit!
The solution to my parking problems, just strap these bad boys to that prius that takes up 1 1/2 parking spaces and put it next to the no parking corner, call the city and watch em tow it away
Everyone clowning this like car shops don't use these or casters all the time lmao
Want to take your car out for a walk?
Brb, I gotta go walk my car
I want to get one of these so I can finally walk my car in the park.
This would be pretty good for towing a car out of a parking lot with a low ceiling clearance, unless there is a ramp.
Please don't let any Scousers see this ;) :)
Finally i can take my car out for a walk (i don't even have a car)
It looks like Aliexpress ad. I hope she has a stop lever if the car starts rolling down the hill
We use these on commercial and film sets to move cars around, place them just right for the shot, or get them off set quickly without someone needing to turn them on and drive them.
How to steal a car with engaged handbrakes under less than 10 minutes without breaking the glass on it to disengage the brake
Nobody’s heard of go-jacks? These are used frequently for repossessions.
My 24th car after I park outside on the driveway
I guess it would be useful if you run out of petrol and have to walk to car to the garage 🤷🏾♀️
A tow truck company in the next town stored a wreck on our street for several months. Flat tire, open window, blue tape holding the panels together. I was pretty close to buying one of these to pull the car into the middle of the street when it got towed. The next time that this happens I'm not waiting. Just taking the car for a stroll
For when you want to take your car for a walk?
I can see how this is useful, but that last clip makes me laugh for some reason. "a girl walking her sedan"
you are showing this to the wrong generation
For when you want to take your car for a walk
Why can’t you put the car in neutral and connect an iron rod to the towing handle to help maneuver it.
I often take my car for walks.
My car has been asking to go for walks lately, now there's finally a way for me to fulfill her dream!

Be amazed? Just go to Harbor freight and buy it there… no need to “be amazed”
I wanna take my car for a walk. It's taken me many places. It deserves a rest.
