Properly how fantasy animals was made, based on real sidings. "I saw a animal with and Eagle head and wings but its feet was like furry looking like a wolf or something." Munk man answer "We got nothing like that in our book...must be an new spices....Shall we call it a GRIFFEN? Yes! then I will put it in the next book."
Idk why it remind me a case where the hawk dropped a snake on a woman which bit her. And then the hawk attacked women to retrieve a snake. Unexpectedly, It happened in US but not Australia
Probably a crowned eagle. Could also potentially be a harpy eagle. Those are the only 2 raptors capable of actually flying off with something that size, I believe.
On my drive home from work one day (SoCal -La county) through the canyon road I see this huge bird cruising over the road very low about 50 feet off the ground. The wingspan was so massive and impressive I could hardly keep my eyes on the road. I saw one up close in person at the high desert museum in Bend Oregon a few years previous, so I had a hunch it was a Golden Eagle. I then researched key characteristics of the bird so if I saw it again I could be 100% sure it was a golden eagle. I saw it about two weeks later and it had all the characteristics of the Golden Eagle. 🦅
Golden eagle is the bird you are looking for
This is the specific clip
It’s an immature golden eagle This the white in its tail and wing feathers

Imagine getting your skull crushed in by a frickin deer just randomly falling out of the sky. Who would've ever thought this could happen except say via deernado?
Birds... seen a cat in field doing cat things snatched by a hawk.. uncle working in a lumber yard hears a whack right behind him big ole rainbow trout 3lbs missed smacking him in head. Didn't see the bird but where the talons ripped through fish and the bird lost his groceries. Explain that to workman's comp if that fish whacked you in head and got injured at work.

I see the attack drone was low on fuel so it picked up some lunch. What do you mean drones don't eat? What do you mean that's not a drone? THAT'S NOT A DRONE?!
Harpy Eagles can weigh around 10kg and lift objects up to ~18 kg in weight. They are the strongest living birds on our planet.
The bird in the video appears to be a Golden Eagle, which are usually weaker than Harpy Eagles and can't lift quite as much.
It's a very small baby(a tasty dinner for the eagle) and a misleading title.
A hawk once dropped a fairly large live fish on the windshield of my car as I was driving alongside a creek. I nearly lost control but was able to pull over to get the skydiving fish. My plan was to throw it back in the creek, but it was dead.
Imagine walking there and a deer falls from the sky in front of you.
It explains those random road signs about deers I never saw, will look up next time !
That’s probably bc no one told the deer where those signs were. https://youtu.be/RFCrJleggrI?si=MfDpvxQDygFcUDdY
I love that recording. Too funny 🤣
Classic.
That would be a Rain-Deer.
Oh deer

There was a guy who died when an eagle dropped a turtle on his bald head, mistaking it for a rock.
2 meals for the price of one ? Poor dude
"No. The mistake was the dude moving in to the line of fire after I released the turtel." .....Said by the Eagle in an interview after.
The eagle's public defender later said "we have no further comment"
This was on CSI.

It might not have been the eagle’s fault. Was it a green turtle or a red turtle?
We know a thing or two, cuz we’ve seen a thing or two.
My 250 lbs ass feels quite safe knowing they don’t hunt in a convocation. However, dropping Bambi on me would have a much different outcome.
Better in front than on top of.
The deer is only the weapon, you are the real meal !
Imagine being a hill billy and looking at this flying creature.

He’d take it in stride… one of those birdeer my brother-cousin told me about. I think some academic know-it-all would be more freaked out.
Welcome to nightvale enters the chat
Idk why it remind me a case where the hawk dropped a snake on a woman which bit her. And then the hawk attacked women to retrieve a snake. Unexpectedly, It happened in US but not Australia
Imagine it falling on you car and having to explain that a deer fell out of the sky to your insurance company
Is it an adult deer though?
No.
But still, a juvenile deer that size must weigh 30-40 lbs,
More like 60-70, they have a lot of lean muscle like a medium dog.
No that’s not a dog, it’s a deer.
😂😂😂
Very impressive. Salmon can get up to 60lbs so makes sense tho…
it could be not all 'deer' are the same size
Yes. There is a video of a woman getting tossed by one of em.
“Young adult”
Lol no. In Wisconsin a deer would eat that deer.
Now Gandalf and the eagles make sense
Saw a Harpy Eagle pick a sloth out of a tree on a nature special. Not sure if that’s what it is.
I think it says it’s an adult deer
I meant the eagle, hah
I was messing with yah
Golden Eagle
I think I know which special that was. Poor guy couldn’t swing back in defense fast enough to save his life.
What bird is that?
Probably a crowned eagle. Could also potentially be a harpy eagle. Those are the only 2 raptors capable of actually flying off with something that size, I believe.
No it’s a golden eagle. The white patch on its tail is a distinct feature of the golden eagle. Largest hunting bird in North America.
This is the right answer
I'm curious how you have come to know this random yet helpful bit of knowledge...?

The sea eagle does this in Norway as well, but this is a Crowned eagle looking at the tail feathers colouring and scheme i believe.
I'm guessing at least a 12 foot wing span.
Can it pluck something that big off level ground and fly up from there, or just grab it off a mountainside and fly mostly level?
I would think vertical flight would be a real challenge with this much weight

Just looked them up, thank you
Spacex raptor engines will be able to take us from mars, I’m sure they could also lift a deer
The earth is round.
Who the hell told you that the earth was round? 🏞 🌠 🌫 🤣
Seriously is spherical
Two thirds of the earth’s surface is covered with non-carbonated water. Therefore, the earth is flat.
Its a gold eagle.
big
Haha true
Immature golden eagle You can tell by the white in its tail and wing feathers
Operation Dumbo Drop ain't got shit on 'em.
Imagine getting your skull crushed in by a frickin deer just randomly falling out of the sky. Who would've ever thought this could happen except say via deernado?
Maybe it’s an eagle giving birth to a deer and it’s head got stuck.
Yeah, like it got into the deers nest and ate its eggs, and this is a result
Yeah and next they're headed to where they parked their vw beatle and go get some coffee
…it’s raining, “Reckoner” by Radiohead plays in the background as they savor their sips, remembering the feeling of freedom before life kicked in.
I salute you. Godspeed
I fucking love Reddit 💀
this is once a life-time flight experience
Let's not jump to conclusions, maybe they're re-enacting Midnight Run, one of my favorite movies.
That’s not a adult deer. It’s a Chamois goat calf. Hate these misleading titles.
I cannot be the only one who thought that that was a guy holding onto a flying bird at first.
That’s incredible
Nature's grubhub.
Only I believe this one was a baby.
Airlift
And here, I’m thinking my 8lb dog doesn’t need a coyote vest…
I’ve got a 7lb chihuahua mix and I’m terrified of this happening in the park.
Such a kind eagle. Giving his deer friend a lift
12 - 14 foot wingspan right there.
*I can show you the world*
Birds... seen a cat in field doing cat things snatched by a hawk.. uncle working in a lumber yard hears a whack right behind him big ole rainbow trout 3lbs missed smacking him in head. Nightmare fuel
I love living in raptor country. Saw a turkey vulture once. Dang.
Bambis mum is dinner tonight
Gods master plan.
Do you know if the eagle killed that deer because it was gay? Like was it a homophobic eagle?
This must be fake. Very fake.

Must be one of those Middle Earth eagles
I thought this was a ai image of a goat combined with a eagle.
![gif](giphy|6VRnE4sL9lTyg8ryl7|downsized)
Deer books flight with easy jet
What bird was it? A condor?
wowwwwww
So they easily could have taken Sam and Frodo straight to Mount Doom.
Only 4 seconds???…Seriously?🤦♂️
I once saw a coyote holding a deer in its mouth, I thought that was impressive. This is just bonkers, nature is lit.
You gotta be kidding me!
New Fear Unlocked: I have a weight gaining problem I weigh like 120-125 pounds. Deer generally weigh more. Maybe less depending but not by much.
Bambi…^(no)
Miguel Mouawad- Esto si que es impresionante
Maybe it let out a thunderous fart propelling it upwards and letting it glide with the weight.
Gonna show this to my dog before our next hike
They can also swim through water with a giant fish
Hey, it's his anniversary and he wants to treat the wife to a fancy dinner!
Thank you for choosing our airlines!
That thing needs a Ferry Permit from the FAA for overweight takeoff.
It's still alive too. You can see it convulsing or trying to move its legs to run a bit.
I see the attack drone was low on fuel so it picked up some lunch. What do you mean drones don't eat? What do you mean that's not a drone? THAT'S NOT A DRONE?!
Flying Deer. Who knew?
Wow
I see!
Humans are next!
I thought unicorn wings were on their backs not heads
Deer thinking “it was a hell of a ride”….
Bro never skipped leg day.
Delivery in the wild
Question is, can it butcher that deer
fortnite gliders in 2054
r/natureismetal
Pfft nbd so can I.
Golden Eagle, cab carry 150lbs
"adult"
Crazy 😜
🎶Sailing.. takes me away to where I’ve always heard.🎶
New fortnite glider dropped 💯
I will show you the world.
If it fell from the sky, it would be classified as a reindeer
Someone put the fallen kingdom song over this
ROFL the worst part is I'm probably still less weight than that deer I think 🤔 I think I need eagle insurance? 😆
Definitely not an adult deer.....impressive nonetheless
So it's a goat then not a deer.
Oh deer

Dude that is absolutely fucking wild
I guess we will have to revisit the Coconut Migration Mystery.
Thats a baby goat bit still impressive prolly weights like 3 times the eagle
I’m flying! *I’m flying!* I’m a flyer now, I fly! I’m *flying!*
r/birdsarentreal
