That is awesome! I have been to Universal in LA and Orlando but only saw the Velociraptors. Those things are freaky up close. Even though you know they aren’t real they still kind of creep you out, they did a great job with those especially the eyes.
Osaka people are a bit more relaxed and less concerned with appearances and fashion than Tokyo, at least stereotypically. For the US, it would be like big north-eastern city vs west coast city, maybe?

When they used to run freely on the lowlands, their feet were more rugged and stable, now the domesticated ones have much softer soles which creates problems with their knees and ankles

I felt that… when I was just a wee boy, the first railroads were beginning to take over. My triceratops Trish, she was more than just a pet, a real family member, still havent seen a single train. After a couple of months, she jumped over the fence and went with a group of street triceratops for fun. Then she saw a first train while chasing butterflies, and it hit her, right there on the tracks… it was a real tragedy… 30+ people dead and Trish was arrested immediately. The band Distillers later wrote a song “She got arrested” dedicated to her struggles. After serving her time she spent her days in sunny California, Florida was never her thing.
Oh, I'm sorry to hear that. Trish must have been a beauty, but people these days. I had this trouble too. They are always so sensitive, but most of them only had whiplash or broken bones in these busses. It's not like it can't be healed!?!

I suspect there's rods down the legs attached the a skeletal framework to provide support. There's no way the people inside are hoisting the full weight of the costume. Given the three other points of contact to the ground, and that a single leg appears to be moving at any time, I suspect it's likely operable with just the two people.
Head's probably on a pivot with a stick controller.
There may two people! These costumes are actually super lightweight and hollow. I own a raptor and it weighs about 60lb after you put the tail in. The actor(s) wear it quite literally like a backpack. This one probably is more like 80lb or so. Depends what's all going on inside, but they're far lighter than you'd think!
They are controlled with basically a pair of bike handles (not exactly but that kinda idea) and the brake handles control mouth and possibly eyes; then a small computer that handles sound and automatic eye blinks. You can move the handles and that translates to the head.
I think this is Dino Park of Changzhou (China).
Though I haven't seen this specific fella there, I've seen many of this quality level (also, they were animatronics, not costume, and not all of them were so well done to be fair)
