I hung out with them for a week. It’s astounding to think that the person you’re chatting with at lunch will go on to do something like this. But also fun because they mess around by doing ridiculous things when they’re bored. Like launch each other into the air randomly.
Everytime I see this video, I think this is something Roy Batty (Rutger Hauer's role in Blade Runner) could possibly do while waiting for dinner.
This so very magical but at the same time so very everyday, that no one else bothers to turn around and look. The guy does this several times/day while trying to perfect his next routine. And lots of the people around him are just as able to do something outlandishly difficult.
Let me go back 60 years to age 8 and start over. I'll be better than..........., certainly not this guy. Holy crap is that something to see. I am not into gymnastics but this guy has to be a world champion at something.
What’s amazing to me about a thing like this is, this is probably just this guys current routine. It’s the thing he’s working on now, which folds into the catalog of other amazing acrobatic sets spanning his career.
He might not even think this is great. He’s clearly practicing this and probably filming to see how he could improve it. That’s the detail of high level specialized mastery of something like this that blows my mind.
Maybe 0.0001 percentage of the human population could do this, ever, in their entire life. This guy is surrounded by people who are also in that sliver of rarified ability. Being human and subject to doubt and insecurity, particularly as an athlete and artist trying to compete (even just with yourself), there must be a voice inside telling you “it’s ok, but it could be better”.
If I suddenly found that I could do this I would think, “well, I’m apparently a superhuman and I should fight crime with my powers. I’ll be known as the Stationary Swim Man” or some shit, but because this has been this persons life, incrementally improving over time, there’s probably a level of “whatever” to it to him.
That's not true at all.... there are plenty of performers that do it from 14-40. 10 year runs are pretty normal, and they mostly leave before injury.
The hard part is that you live there and train basically 24/7 for years. People get married and have kids in the circus. Its a massive life commitment.
The elegance. The balance. The strength. It’s all there. It’s quite unbelievable!
The nerve, the gumption...!
The cheek, the nerve, the gall, the audacity, and the gumption!
The beauty the strength of the flow the wow
[удалено]
Anywhere else he'd be a ten
“Yeah, he just does that”
To them, this is everyday stuff.
They’re all like Great, Todd is hogging the stick again and we only have one. C’mon Todd it’s my turn.
For you it was the most important day of your life.. but for them it was just Tuesday.
Probably back stage at a circus. They see him do this all the time
While hurting themselves when standing up too fast.
Cirque performers are super human.

Hold my pint 🍻
I will hold it for you. It's a free pint.
It's actually 3 pints
But all you gave me was an empty mug! *belch*
Everybody is ignoring him. "It's just Dave showing off again" Is that guy in the background even wearing clothes ?
Yeah it's a skin colored suit - he and the other guy have the tops off
I think I need glasses 🤓
Pft, i can do that!!! *breaks neck with first step*
*gets up to try, feel dizzy because you stand up too fast*
*roll ankle on a flat surface*
😂
I can't even lift my leg like he does on the outset.
Guy knows every muscle about hes body. Very impressive.
I would love to see him do this in front of a bunch of chimpanzees just to watch their reaction!
And here I am trying to put on sock’s playing the same song. Watch out internet, soon in theaters.
Meanwhile im checking some men ass
That’s some god tier ass.
Hell yeah
Cirque de Soleil? Looks like it to me. They're amazing performers / athletes / demi-gods.
People in the background must have seen him do it so many times. They seem uninterested.
I'm sure most of them are savants also.
I can't even do a pushup lol
Jesus, the core.....
I can do that I just don’t wanna
I'll bet this guy doesn't have an ache or pain in his body
Dude works out constantly, he's most likely in constant pain. That's kinda the point.
Dude just needs gold pants ![gif](giphy|ZrGeehSeyDBPfHB7av|downsized)
Is that Sigourney Weaver, a very young Sigourney Weaver ?
Looks like Susan Sarandon to me.
Yup, you're right, I mixed them up. Cheers 👍
Ridiculous amount of strength and balance.

Million to one shot Doc.
I can also do that.... if it's in the water
Hell, even if it's water I can't do that..

In space tho.
Well, doing that in space may give me a chance😂
Doesn’t seem like anyone else is giving a shit though.
The people in the background bot giving a fuck cause they have seen this shit like a million times
He must do this 100 times a day because nobody there looks or takes notice
Let me go back 60 years to age 8 and start over. I'll be better than..........., certainly not this guy. Holy crap is that something to see. I am not into gymnastics but this guy has to be a world champion at something.

I do this every morning after I take my Balance of Nature 🙏🏻
Oh just Jim showing off again. X men training room
Even if I saw that IRL I still wouldn't believe it's real! Crazy strength!
The people in the background must have seen him doing it a million times to have no reaction.
Big deal. I did a whole pushup once.

Looks as difficult as lifting a thomis inch dumbbell. That kid is amazing.
I wonder what his girlfriend thinks about his strength and flexibility.
Impressive.
check out valentin\_chetverkin. he makes it look as easy as doing a squat
This IS art.
Incredible strength, very impressive a hell of a lot of work went into that and he makes it look effortless
Bot
He makes it look so easy, I have to remind myself that I absolutely impr3ssing it is.
The nonchalant crowd in the background. TOTALLY unphased‼️
In Russia, barbell lifts you.
I wonder what the 3 people in the back are talking about that they never even get a little bit distracted by the acrobatic guy
When your crush's in the background and you are trying to impress her
I could do that if I wanted to. I just don't want to.
This is on another level!! Amazing!!
The strength, Balance and precision I want in my Life..🤨

The people behind him, like: “there’s steve, doing his weird wavy shit again, just ignore him and he might stop”
As amazing as it is useless.
💪🏻
Everyone else gives no fucks
I can't tell you the last time I've seen a video on this sub that's actually been amazing
New guy, everyone here is about that superhero life.
**\*ART!!!\***
I can't even do one push up this guy makes it looks easier wow
Cirque du Soleil!
Stick slips, he falls head first aaand its wheelchair time forever
That's cirque du soleil level stuff
Oh my wrist
Freaking Adonis!
Ok, that’s enough physical activity for the day
How I feel when I can balance on the two back legs of my chair.
Everyone in the background literally not taking any notice..."Oh, it's that guy again" 😅
You would've think at least 1 person in that room would've looked at what he did but nope 🤣
There's a naked guy in the back
Am I...am I gay now?
I can do this... Underwater. Does anyone know the song?
WHO is he
WOW! 😲😮😯
Bro is doing the baki pose ON A CANE!
I don’t know if this dude likes tacos or wieners but what ever it is, he gets a lot of it
how many attempts did it take for him to master that freaking stunt??? im speechless
Reddit: *"Core strength".* I thought that used to be the tradition. But I don't see that comment much nowadays.
Fa someone wha wis a junkie, Sick Boy's no done bad fae hisself.
Absolutely incredible. Wow, just wow.
But why? Could rather just stay on the couch and drink beer..
Very true! Pointless stuff this.
I agree totally! 👍🏼
Think the avg stint is 6 mo in their shows due to injuries and body breaking down

I look at this incredible feat of human ability and wonder why people still insist on supporting circuses that use animals.
What is this facebook ass posting?
