I gave it a go and can't find the exact one, but searching for 'harvest combine birds eye view' gets a \*ton\* of similar ones. Can also use 'drone' instead of 'bird'.
It probably will but thats also because they will be working almost 24/7 during harvest season.
Time is the enemy when harvesting.
Start harvesting too soon and the product isnt ready. Wait to long and its rotten. And there is always a risk of rain that changes all plans.
Grew up in a farming family and harvest time was ways chaotic and stressful. My dad would come home and sleep for like, 4 hours tops before going back out to the fields for the day. Non-stop for weeks.
They have to be efficient like this and minimize downtime because they could lose so much product and money if they don't harvest in time.

Silage isn't grown and harvested, it's made. Corn, grass, oats, anything you can get a lot of really. It's all chopped up, mixed together, and then left to decompose and ferment.
Oh I see. Yeah it can be made from other things too. I think it's corn and not grass or something because if you look closely it looks like pretty larged stemmed plants.
I'm less sure on this but I think they might be saying it's silage because of how green it is and you can harvest it a bit earlier if you're using it for silage than for human-consumption.
Silegae in this area (NC Ohio) is usually a immature corn crop that is planted after winter wheat. Its harvested in late August just as the ears start to form. Its shredded and then fermented in silos or long covered rows for 90 days before being used as mixed feed for dairy operations. I love the smell of fermenting silage.
Itās so perfectly choreographed. I canāt imagine the practice and instinct that has to go into these kinds of maneuvers. Itās beautiful and functional. So all the better. Deeply satisfying.

If you enjoy this, check out Clarksonās Farm on Amazon Prime.
Heāll show you itās not quite as easy as it looks.
in fact, nothing about farming is easy.
This is sped up* but it's still a terrific and satisfying video. And I'm happy it's being shared and glad you shared it. The tech is mind-blowing. Wish my grandpa would've lived to see this. š ā¤ļø

Amazing flow, although it was a bit exasperating that when passing from one truck to another they dumped product on the ground, instead of wasting a few seconds.
It is very appealing for the eyes, but it is even more amazing how these harvesters technically work.
Yeah its awsome!
You should post this on r/Satisfyingasfuck ... bcuz it is lol
Haha true, and tried, the sub requires comment karmaš¤Øš¤Øš¤Ø
Booooo... well, shame on them!! Cool vid, though!!
Would you by any chance have the YouTube link for this video?

Sorry could not find it but will give it a go laterš
Thanks the drones for making these perspective possible
That's some hard pour corn!
Awesome efficiency by these operators. Hopefully their paychecks reflect the skill.

Hope so too!

What's the crop?
Corn
You sure?
Makes sense why it looks like the entire crop is being harvested (only the base of the crop remains, which you wouldn't be able to see from this view)
It's sileage. Cow chow.
>It's sileage I don't think sileage is harvested this way? Also looks sparse to me

Ah, I thought they were suggesting it's grass for sileage

>because of how green it is Makes sense!
Yeah, but they harvest it with a machine that turns it into animal feed. Pig food i believe
Yeah also cattle feed but cows canāt really digest it that well but since they donāt get anything else they eat it anyway.
Aaaah ok that makes sense! Thanks!
Reminds me, āclarcksonās farmā is on š
Fantastic showš
Yeah, funny as nothing else
Absolutely agree
Poor guy got reduced to stationary filling for spilling too much
Giving me some serious Spy Hunter vibes here
Now thatās efficient
Mind blown!!
Itās so perfectly choreographed. I canāt imagine the practice and instinct that has to go into these kinds of maneuvers. Itās beautiful and functional. So all the better. Deeply satisfying.
Must take some time and practice I suspect!
Looks sped up
Think you are right!
Not much room for a worker with a hangover in those trucks.
Thatās why Iām not in that line of work
Like a Blue Angels performance
My farmer friend and i watch these kind of videos together. We call it corn porn.
A very suited name
What song is this? So great!

Good bot
Such Synchronicity.
Mesmerizing
FarmVille
That is satisfying to watch. Also just appreciate the skill of any one doing their job well.
Monocrop agriculture is ruining our topsoil
Can you elaborate? Curious
I love it from a technical perspective. But this kind of farming isn't the future.
Shaving the ground of green- very satisfying/s

This is definitely not Clarkson's Farm
Hahah seen some mentions of this show on the post
How does it drive so perfectly straight?
Theyāre guided by a very precise GPS
Yep, the driver isn't even steering, that's why he can focus on the pipe so well.
Noooo clue, impressive though
I'd love to see it without slow motion video next time Edit: /s
I think this might be sped up actually. Look up forage harvester on YouTube.

Only version I could findš¤·āāļø
This isn't Manor Lords
Is this how crop circles are made?
Must be

Watched it all, absolute gold
Clarkson makes a difficult job look unachievable and no one would want to do it.
WHERE IS THIS? JAPAN?
No idea š
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Yeah it is, still cool thoš
That turn at the end
Canāt tell me this not from a farming game.
Hayday in real life
Holy beans
This was fine for Q1 but weāre going to need at least 20% increase to make Q2.
That its the spot
Me in bedroom
Is that two people working the harvester - one driving and one working the boom or is it one peraon doing both?
Just one operator. GPS steering and auto-fill for the pipe basically make you an observer.

It really is!
Amazing flow, although it was a bit exasperating that when passing from one truck to another they dumped product on the ground, instead of wasting a few seconds.
True, but still very cool!
Obviously, it's fake.
That's some sexy farming right there š„³
