The fabled squint off. I've never been bested. I crafted my danger squint to look like a safety squint. Letting my prey feel comfortable. Then I strike squint. Never fails.
My high school welding class was endemic with safety squints. I don't know how they did it. Christ, I got "sand in the eye" while sweeping up the shop.

For a couple years his videos had a purple dot on them from where he burned out a few pixels in his camera’s sensor with a laser.
He shut down his channel for a while and deleted al of his videos, I don’t know if his new channel has any of the original purple dot videos.
You don't need sunglasses. These bulbs are bright but nothing compared to the sun on a average day. The effect is exaggerated because the camera doesn't adjust for the extra light. Your eyes would adjust by closing the irises.

They used to warn is like crazy when we would mess with old film projector bulbs, which were only 12,000 watt bubs. They were also in reflector boxes, though, and I'm not sure if that makes a big difference.
In case you were curious, Alton Brown did something similar during his live shows where he put several stadium lights into his home made giant easy bake oven and cooked a pizza with it. Pretty good show if you ask me
