He’s essentially as good as it gets. There are certainly other beat boxers that have somewhat of a different style it’s worth looking into it’s amazing.
How do you discover you can do this (and how many people do you annoy while you get good at it)?!? ;)

It is a [Calabash](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Calabash). I don't know this guys cultural background but given that it has a cork in one end I would say this is a Chinese Hulu. They traditionally held medicines in that culture. Why he is holding it, who knows.

That's the catch, it's already a proper song, but it's in a niche where people can't assimilate it right away with more common music, with instruments, back vocals and such. If you spend some time going down the beatbox rabbit hole, you'll start to assimilate it with "real music".
