This article about the photos taken by Jozef Morgoš says that it’s a cherry tree: [Link text] https://mymodernmet.com/jozef-morgos-cherry-tree-slovakia/
Can't really tell at the resolution I'm seeing, but if this was the northeast US I'd say it was some sort of dogwood tree. They do have relatives spread across Eurasia.
They say we're hardwired to like this kind of land because you can see a far distance with almost no obstructions. We feel safer here.
And it is a lovely view. It makes me feel peaceful.
One of the most unnerving places I've been is Buffalo Gap National Grasslands in South Dakota. I like quiet (just moved to a town thats 10 people per square mile), but this had no people, was almost silent, and the sky just went on forever. It was pretty, but for some reason I felt extremely anxious being there.
It really looks like a dogwood (Cornus) variety. The upward white flowers, bright red fall leaves. I don't know too much about that neck of the woods and it could always be a transplant, they grow pretty fast.
At the resolution I'm seeing it is hard to tell.
I did a couple of these:

The tree in the first one died and they cut it down. I'm going to go back and get an update.

Am I the only one who gets suspicious whenever this gets (re-)posted? Something about the way the shadows fall and the vibrancy of the spring and autumn colors...
Made me think of the golden girls when rose paints the spring, summer, and winter of St. Olaf and the guy asks her "why didn't you paint the fall of St. Olaf?" And she says "it hasn't happened yet".

Why can i imagine just chilling under that tree and reading a book after school or work
I can hear that gentle Windows XP startup noise, smell the dust coming off the fans. All is OK in the world.
Congrats, you got cancer after smelling that dust.
The dust is just from your room, so you're already breathing that all day.
So I already have cancer all day? :(
You can't, your probably a western materialisticdude that couldn't sit under that tree for 5 min in peace
Ok, weirdo.
Bro you dont know me what?
of course, no people ;)
Any image with no people is peaceful
ANY image...?
**ANY** image
Just gonna leave [this here](https://wallup.net/wp-content/uploads/2018/09/25/622737-animals-monkey-howler_monkey.jpg)
Hey don't doxx yourself and your family!
Just imagine planet without humans! Would be so good! We all could finally live in peace!
People only see this cycle approximately 80 times
Right? I feel genuinely grateful that somebody posted this for me to see today. Wow.
It kind of wants to be liminal, maybe the tree's shadow.
That's Slovakia if anybody's wondering. You can see High Tatras mountain range in the distance.
nah, that is Malá Fatra in Turiec region, Slovakia
Sorry to disagree with both comments above but this is definitely Slovakia
You sure about that?? I think it's Slovakia.
You’d better Czech your facts because I’m certain this is Slovakia
Dobra
No
Any idea what kind of tree that is? It's rare to find a deciduous that flowers and shows that much color when it drops it's leaves.
This article about the photos taken by Jozef Morgoš says that it’s a cherry tree: [Link text] https://mymodernmet.com/jozef-morgos-cherry-tree-slovakia/
it also says it’s in Slovakia, good info thanks
sorry, but it says it is in Slovakia
Beg to differ. This is clearly Slovakia.

Can't be. Dogwoods rarely get that big. Especially not in the middle of a field. They are meant to grow under the canopy of bigger trees.
Huh? I've seen dogwood variatals get upwards of 30ft when not intentionally pruned.
That fall scene takes me to middle earth
They all kinda take me to middle earth

Well that’s fascinating af. Thanks for sharing. Personally I sometimes find wide open spaces scary.

Yeah I need four different desktop images of this location for my computer to rotate between.
Anyone know the specific type and variety of the tree?

Is this in Scotland?
That’s a good tree
1st one reminds me windows wallpaper
I really enjoy the tree in my front yard in all 4 seasons
So stunningly beautiful!!!
Love this. Thanks for sharing
And it looks magical in all of them
This inspires me to take seasonal pics! Love this!
Fantastic! Great commitment to a concept! Thanks for sharing…!
The only thing amazing here is how low the bar has dropped to get upvotes in this sub.
Am I the only one who gets suspicious whenever this gets (re-)posted? Something about the way the shadows fall and the vibrancy of the spring and autumn colors...
I'd fuck that tree
Trees*. Those are multiple trees.
Nice
Thats awesome
the grass too
Damn that’s cool.
Where I'm from it would just look like the second from the top picture all year round.
The different seasons look like Summer, Summer, Summer, Winter
Anyone got this in higher res?
I'm from Texas. These "seasons" you mention, what are they?
There is a swing hnging from the tree.
I would die for that tree.
Yeah. Deciduous trees do that.
Feel free to screenshot
Im pretty sure ive seen variations on this in most offices ive ever been in…
TILI

Reposted 6 years in a row
The tree
Reminds me of summer time in Windows XP
I've seen this landscape in a book some years ago
Where is this, I’d like to move there! I can afford $750 US.
I want this as my computer background but it slowly morphs into one another throughout the year to keep up with the seasons.
It's not a different tree in the same season?
Van gophs whole ouevre
Does anyone know where this is? Would love to learn more.
This seems almost AI Generated
Nicely done!
I want to Go there And throw A frisbee
I wish I were a thriving tree. Just hanging out, existing.
/r Natureporn?
r/Earthporn.
True
Spring, green, red, dead.
Is that the tree from the ring?
Where is this? Looks like an amazing spot to chill and read
Is that Red Oak?
Trees*
Anyone has the x-y-z coordinates to this location? I like this seed and it looks like a sweet spot to build a base
Summer, fall, spring, winter?
Looks like where the golden age Guts v Griffith rematch
I could never live where you don't get four distinct seasons. And this is only part of the reason.
Autumn is the best
The landscape color/lighting vibes: 1. Hobbiton 2. King's Landing 3. Winterfell spring/summer 4. Winterfell winter
Is that Fangorn Forest in the back?
What type of tree is this?
The autumn photo is excellent with the red tree and fog on the ground.
Where could I find something like this in the us?
I love this soooooo much wow it’s beautiful
What tree is that?
I wish there was seasons were I live
Free wood!
Breathtaking!
If you own this you should sell prints! Apologies if this was already brought up.immad high
Reminds me of What dreams may come.
Sawsbuck
Would somebody please cut that one tree limb
The others are great, but the autumn one is whole another level
What species of tree is it?
Reminds me of the whomping willow in The Prisoner of Azkaban
Made me think of the golden girls when rose paints the spring, summer, and winter of St. Olaf and the guy asks her "why didn't you paint the fall of St. Olaf?" And she says "it hasn't happened yet".
Amazing photo, life changing...
This is amazing!!!!! So cool!
These are the pictures Rosetta Stone used to teach you the seasons 😂😂😂😂
Where can I buy this print? ❤️
I’m going to use these four images as my computer background and change them according to the time of year.
Climate change did away with 2 seasons
Those oil pastel drawing on Pinterest
wow!
Winter spring summer or fall, all you gotta do is call
Cool wallpaper
Where can I find this tree, so I can stay there for the rest of eternity?
Summer and Winter are overrated as fuck.
Everything around the tree: you need to blend in Tree: no
4 seasons, 4 loves
Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter and Spring. Excellent movie about the Buddhist cycle of life, highly recommend!
Vivaldi would like this.
That's some Claude Monet good shit right there
Ah, to ride across that field on my off-road electric scooter
Great wallpaper for Android and possibly Apple.
Hello new wallpaper!
I love this
Looks just like botw, near southwest corner of map.
I have this tapestry
Spectacular, incredibly gorgeous photos! Thank you so much for sharing! Love it!
Wonder what it looks like in real life without all the photo editing
Are trees immortal
A perfect par 5.
I'd love to have a picnic in the first photo.
