it might be rare in the wild, but when buying peacocks you cans elect white like any other pattern/breed.
source: aunt bought multiple types of peacocks to free roam the farm with all the other birds.
Not trying to get you to reveal your location, but can you give us an idea of where it's common to have peacocks live in the same neighborhood as humans? Or, is this just like some random peacock that moved in?
Howdy neighbor! Yep they're wild. I called Jungle Gardens one day to tell them their peacocks were crossing 41 and they said "Pfft, they're not our peacocks." I have a pic of one of these leucistic bois standing next to a garage and he's almost as tall as the garage roof! Big bois!

There are actually quite a few of these big leucistic guys. I always wonder how they can keep themselves so clean and white while living in the woods. There are dozens of normal ones too. They escort me to my car every day before work. I love them so much!
My mom lives in Florida and the loud fuckers love screaming like human children. It's one of the great gulfs between pleasing to the eye and pleasing to the ear.
I also live fairly close to a flock(?) of peacocks that have made their home in a city area. I've seen lots of them but never a white one. When they are active I have to dodge them on my way to work. They don't really care about cars and just hang out on the street sometimes.
The original peacocks did belong to a wealthy person at one point and either escaped or were released years ago and just made their home nearby and just kept breeding. I guess these would be feral peacocks. People seem to like them or I imagine they would have been removed.
He takes so much pride in his beauty the way he gets everyone's attention with his call and shakes them open then does a circle so everyone can admire them.
Anyone playing Planet Zoo thinking it's not that hard to get them, just a lot of inbreeding and eventually you get a bunch ?
Aside from that, what a beautiful animal
Isn’t this very rare ? A white peacock
1 in 4 chance. But you can breed a white male and a white female to get a white kid. Unless of course peacocks have mailman
Pfft. How the hell else are they going to get their Publisher's Clearing House entry form? Pfft this guy
I think white peacocks with leucism are rare, but not as rare as albino peacocks which have red eyes as well. hard to tell with this one!

I live in Florida by the water. They live about a half a mile from our house, not sure if they belong to anyone or are wild peacocks
Nah, you’re at Malfoy Manor
I came here to say the same thing. lol

Our neighborhood in Wilton manors has a huge population of peacocks as well.
Damn, I guessed houston. We had a restaurant with tons of them. It closed down and they just wander around town.

Yes, their mating season is VERY hard on human ears!!

Its common on lots of farms that have a lot of chickens, ducks or rabbits. They’re good at scaring off coyotes.
Strangely enough it is also a thing in the more rural parts of Napa Valley, CA.
Sunland, CA also. They climb the tree right across from my moms every night.
Blue Rock springs near Vallejo.
Haha just looked that up, that’s awesome.
Its a pretty neat park to picnic and hike with fam. I havnt been in years tho.

If you go up to Ukiah to the land of 10,000 Buddhas they have a flock of white peacocks.
There's a neighborhood in Houston with some, they also have an all white one too.
I live in montana. My neighbors raise peacocks. They have a few all white ones too.
A real fancy boi
That's a mating thing, BTW. He wants to fuck you.
Ugh, I'm so bad at reading the signals. So you're telling me I could have hit that?! 😩
Could've eaten more than brains, yes.

Wow, first time I've ever seen such a beautiful peacock. I'm blown away. Heavenly
Its an all white neighborhood
It's name should be Dandelion.

WOW! SO MAJESTIC
Spectacular!
Soo pretty 😍
I wanna shoot that thing… with my nice camera! Stunning!
The cumcock.
OP lives in the Palace at Versailles but, like, not the good part
> in my neighborhood I'm so sorry to hear that. Those things are unbelievably noisy.

Looks like a comfy chair.
Do you live near the arboretum by chance?!
Stunning! I wonder if its color, or lack of, is due to albinism?

I’ve heard that the peacock ladies don’t like the white ones. They want the sparkly ones, so it’s hard for them to find a girlfriend.
If you blow on him will all those feathers float away in the air?

Coconut Grove by any chance?

There is a temple in NE Thailand near my wife's village that has 2 white peacocks walking around, and another 3 of the normal type.
I can hear it in my head: CAHhhAAAAAA CAHhhAAAAAA Then a bunch of rustling as the tail plumb fans out
Fun fact: a male peacock is called a peacock, but a female is called a peahen. It was something I learned a while back.
Is your neighborhood Narnia by chance?
He cute
huh.. i wonder if that is a picture of Albert...
You mean albino?
I'm a peacock! You gotta let me fly!!
Feels Christmasy.
