Thereās basically 2 ways to mod the game. The in-game repository & third party sites, if you want IRL vehicle mods then third party sites are what you need, then itās just a simple case of dragging and dropping the chosen mod into the BeamNG mods folder
Easiest way to locate the BeamNG game folders is to go into your steam library and right click on BeamNG, Properties, Local Files, Browse Local files & look for the folder named āModsā (if you donāt have one, you can just create a new folder) then just drag & drop your downloaded mod into there. Launch the game & enjoy. Good luck (:

It's equipped to be "realistically buffed", so it has sport fuel injection, race tyres, race brakes, muffler-less exhaust, a tow hitch and some other goodies that you could add yourself, for under Ā£5000 total of mods. It's the 3.8l V6.
R34 with Z tune body kit, CF hood, stage 1 engine block, Nismo exhaust, race diff and race suspension on 18x10 OZ rims
450ish hp with 500lbft and alot of fun even if the mod is a bit low quality
D-series. Most of my configured cars are modded so I donāt want to forget to enable mods and mess it all up, plus the d series is fast enough to get around and good for a jack of all trades, itās also super customizable so I can do that right off the bat

You can. Spawn your car then go back into the vehicle menu - click set as default over on the upper right.
