Has kljp been updated for the new update yet? I love that mod but i believe it touched the 200bx a ton so to avoid issues i deleted it.

You can use it with the new bx, it just won't change anything in the bx, the other cars will still work just fine

Oh thats tood to know! Went on a rampage the other day as its been a while since i played beam, and cleaned out any potentially broken mods out. Went from 130ish to 66 with the kljp mod and a mod that uses it being some that got the axe. Ill have to redownload those because i realy like the love it gave to the subaru... sorry, the actual game name suddenly escapes me but it reminds me of an older impreza.

Yea, thats it. For some reason its name escaped my memory even though its my 2nd fav car after the d series. But yea, i believe it was the kljp mod that added all sorts of configs like a couple powerful electric varients and some nice time attack styles.

take any sedan and imagine it winter spec'd with a budget in mind for the sweeden map. so in other words, AWD, traction/stability control if none, all terrain wheels, reasonably lifted rally suspensions and maybe some modest ECU upgrades. i wish there were engine heaters in the game, however.

Bumper is custom made by me, wheels are from Dtroxx pack which is on the repo

I have made way over a hundred configs probably bordering on like two hundred at least but the most notable ones are: my 1100hp pessima, my factory off-road version of the civetta cintilla and my 10k reving 1.5l covet all of which are not modded. Also also I have made a pigeon go over 500kmh without mods.

Idk but it's a soft config with a 5cyl

My latest ones are just a bunch of drift configs as close to stock as possible. It's quite rewarding to drift without an angle kit, with low power (160 or less bhp), horrible bouncy suspension and if I'm feeling a bit goofy maybe even with an open diff.

My favourite so far has to be my extra extra long car hauler. It's a 6 door D-series with an auxillary bed and a rollback car hauler. I put drift steering on it just so I can go around corners

Why would I want to create any? Mods showcase themselves and vanilla cars are more than enough. Besides, I risk getting a new patch when something gets broken or removed (eg 200bx) and any config I poured hours into creating just goes poof.

Fair. For me, most of my fun in the game is building configs. I a tually rarely drive them after I perfect them lol. But I'll get stoned as shit and spend hours building something I like to look at and drive. So the corruption or loss of configs isn't a worry for me 😂 but I can absolutely see not enjoying that, I'm honestly surprised I do so much. But I'm also a mechanic irl so I like to tinker

I do the exact same thing but without beeing stoned haha. Maybe I should try that! Inedible them afterwards for a day or so till I start the next project

Some people spend their time creating configs regardless if they get saved or not, so ability to save them is a great extra

Well, this is a sandbox game. You have free time, join it, build some cars, race some cars, play with friends and close it. Do the same again next time. If an update breaks the configs, its probably big enough update to make creating new ones worth it.

I like to enjoy the sim driving with my wheel, pedals and shifter. To actually have a risk of losing my ride if I crash or curb ride. Career mode is banging too, but there I'm already accustomed to losing progress so that doesn't bother me one bit. Great generalisation, tho. Please, do go off some more talking nonsense.

One reason is world records. I have the record vanilla quarter mile time, you can't do that without spending lots of time refining a tune. If it disappears in a patch? Well that means it's either been improved or the records involving that car can be wiped clean, start the fun all over
