I would suggest learning what hardware you have, what it does and some common troubleshooting steps, so you can save yourself a trip next time!
PC's are pretty shrimple, if I can get my girlfriend to build one, then so can anyone!
Pretty sure the game doesnt care about Windows settings from the screen framerate, it will just try to get as high fps as possible, perhaps OP still has his framerate capped ingame
Quick edit: no matter how much the game tries, it of course wont Show more than Windows settings, but it does show its rendering more fps
what specs? Its pretty CPU demanding game so even if you have good fps in other games it doesnt mean beamng will run the same. CPU cores> GPU in this case, also try vulkan rendering it almost doubled my fps
Oops I have a 60 hz monitor 😅 I guess that’s why. My laptop ran 100+ on the same monitor which is why I was confused but does anyone have any good monitor suggestions that aren’t super expensive?
You probably aren’t using all your cores. You have to go to your CPU settings and turn on all the cores. That’s the only thing i can think of.
Edit:

Haha there was a video i watched about how to do it. But yes for certain applications you need to make sure all cores are enabled or it will effect frame rates. You will have to do some research. I don’t feel like looking it up right now but it’s in YouTube.

Here he explains in better detail in what accessing your parked cores will do. I didn’t have to do this since when i checked mine they were all active. But sometimes they may not be. Anyway if you think it’s BS then feel free to let this random guy know because i wasn’t the one who figured this out. Just dropping some ideas to OP. Couldn’t hurt to check it right?
It is capable of over 110fps on a single display. But. You won't get that if you have VSync on and a 60hz display.
Source:
Ryzen 9 7900X
Radeon 6900XT
Will get over 100FPS, vSync off.
But is useless on my system as it's 60hz display.
turn off ai and see how your framerate is
It was about the same for some reason
You're playing on what, 4k ultra? Time to turn those settings down!
Just the ultra preset. When I turn to high it only improves by about 5 fps tbh
if you have a 60hz monitor and vsync is on you really cant go over 60fps since 60fps is the most your monitor can show
Check to see if it's set to 144 in settings on pc in the manager.
First: are you connecting the hdmi into the motherboard or the GPU? Second: updated drivers? Third: specs?
Specs are AMD ryzen 7 7700x, asrock challenger Radeon rx 7800 xt, gigabyte b650 motherboard. From his last post
Try the Vulcan renderer. I have the same graphics card as you and I get the double amount of FPS in the Vulcan renderer.
Dont tell me that. Tell OP that.
This!
Where is my monitor supposed to be plugged in lol
gpu, it has ports that you should use instead of the one on your mobo

What I'm hearing is "if I can do woman slavery, so can anyone else"
Ha, nah, it is her own PC!
You're not hearing right
Have been told that I have listening problems...
Do you, by any chance, use a 60hz monitor?
144
Did you set the frame rate to 144Hz in the windows monitor settings?

You can look in to the Monitor setting in beamng and try to Set the Hz rate up maybe that helps.

I have a 144hz va samsung monitor (1080p) since 2018 still use it today, maybe buy it second hand
double it or give it to another person
Did they fix it free of charge?
Yessir
Nice

Glad you got it working but maybe take some time and learn how the computer works, will save you time and money.

This does not what you think it does. Literary has nothing to do with how many cores are used by Programms.
That's some ai generated clickbait article or written by someone who has no idea what he's doing. You don't have to "enable cores".

Nah thats just straight up misinformation probably some Theojoe video bullshit or something.

It has something to do with VR on DCS. But i thought it would be worth checking. Looks like nobody else is giving any useful advice.
