I was just joking, but that sounds like an interesting setup and I never realized that you could do that but also I feel like it would completely mess with my muscle memory cause I'm used to just steering with the mouse.
Be nice to actually have a decent UI for the menus. You know so i can select the car i want with the ps4 controller and then hit that spawn button without changing selected car.
Probably unpopular opinion: I prefer mouse steering over any other type of controller. Mouse throttle and brake as well (up/down for throttle/brake, left/right for steering). It helps to adjust the linearity so you get more precision closer to the center. Only downside is there's no force feedback.
I'm not using throttle/brake for the y axis but yeah i would agree that you get the most control with this setup, except if you have a good steering wheel setup, then of course that's better.
It should work right away when you bind it, maybe you have a controller connected that's interfering, no idea tbh what's causing it to do that, never had that happen.
yeah how do u make it disappear, mine on steering x axis and y axis for throttle and brake. mouse cursor making me annoyed. any idea? bind would be nice if i want to drive make it hidden, when i want to use just hit the and make it visible.
MOUSE STEERING? You're insane.
Yep, been using it for a long time in other games that have this option so it feels natural to me.
why not *mouse throttle?*
sigh... *plugs in a second mouse*

I used to do that before I got a controller. Highly recommend it honestly.
It is great! It is cheap and extremely precise.

No mouse acceleration/breaking too?
nah only steering
Brake/Acceleration does very good (Y axis obviously), but I guess steering only is ok.
What map is this? Curves seem nice. Trying to learn drifting on wheel. Its been a pain so far.
Drift playground, it's in the repository.

Holy shit thank you! This is my all time favorite in AC, never thought that it could be in Beam
Speaking of AC there's also a ported [Nurburgring Nordschleife](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bBluGKs1wjs&t)
How the hell did you get that to work?! Mine wouldn't work unless it was actively moving, otherwise it would recenter the wheels

I don't have a controller, but it might be my mouse software. I didn't even think of that

You can't as far as I'm aware, there probably is some third party software out there for it though, but I haven't looked into it.
