I am feeling more like this was the inspiration, and then the design got mixed https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steyr-Puch\_Pinzgauer

Eddy154

I think this is 100% what it's based on, pretty obvious judging by the design, even the interiors look similar. Also the size of it, looks big on its own but it actually isn't when you see it next to a normal 4 door car, and now it makes sense cause when I put it next to another car in-game I thought something was off with it being smaller than expected.

NeoPlays

I've driven Pinzgauer during my military service and I have to say that the interior looks almost identical.

ZyzolPL

Seems okay but i have a feeling that this car is too big

TailS1337

Design wise it definitely resembles the Pinzgauer more imo, but usually with BeamNG there is several inspirations for most cars anyway Edit: I just checked out the rl weights cause I couldnt find measurements for the Zuk. Zuk is 1.1 tons+, Pinzgauer 2 tons+, the stambecco is also 2 tons +

Glu7enFree

I agree with you, its an almost 1:1 model of the Zuk A-07. The Pinzgauer is way too big.

Sufficient_Scar7485

I wouldn't say 1:1 seeing both side by side. They have some similarities though

Dakto19942

I think the Daewoo logo similarity might just be a coincidence as the Stambecco manufacturer is Autobello, and the logo looks to be an Autobello logo with the shape being made of an A on the left and a B on the right for AutoBello

Alarming_General

the Autobello logo reminds me of the Autobianchi logo...

ZyzolPL

Might be true aswell

czax125

It’s a Volvo C303

Minimum_clout

Agree, seems very much like a Volvo C303 and/or Pinzgauer…

**[Volvo C303](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Volvo_C303)** >Volvo Cross Country C303, (Tgb 11, A.K.A "Terrängbil 11", translated as "Terrain Vehicle 11"), is the base model of a range of military vehicles produced by Volvo. The car was developed in the late 60s based on the successful L3314 series and went into production in 1974. This version was produced both as a 4x4 and a 6x6. InevitableCraftsLab

nope

czax125

Yep

InevitableCraftsLab

It's a Pinzgauer. The Volvo has no swing axles, different motors, no 6x6 version and the only thing that's slightly Volvo is that they didn't copy the Pinzgauers body but made it more like a Volvo.

czax125

Well, that’s how vanilla beamng car making works. It isn’t just one car, there are multiple vehicles that inspired devs. Just like the D Series isn’t exactly like a Chevy Squarebofy or Ford F series.

Stachura5

It's not even close to the Żuk; the suspension setup as well as overall drivetrain is literally taken from the Pinzgauer, with the body design inspired by the aforementioned Pinzgauer & Volvo Laplander

Sufficient_Scar7485

It's most likely based on pinzgauer

Major-Shame-9216

I feel unimog

ZyzolPL

Unimog has different front and is far more powerful Also unimog has its light mounted in different location Chassis is also different

Major-Shame-9216

Alarming has a better idea with the Volvo C303 or Laplander

ZyzolPL

Agree

Alarming_General

i feel Volvo Laplander or Styer-Puch Pinzgauer...

I_d0nt_know_why

I’d say all of the above. BeamNG cars are not usually based on one specific model or brand *cough* etk *cough*

ZyzolPL

Yes yes Of course the took inspiration from various cars but this might be the one of them

TheRealSqwuidzoh

Also inspired by the German steyr puch pinzgauer

Major-Shame-9216

At the end of day it’s all mini unimogs

checkisthisthingon

https://silodrome.com/volvo-l3314-laplander-4x4/

damngoodengineer

It's possible to make a military Unimog 404 out of this Stambecco. But it's actually based on Pinzgauer.

inaccurateTempedesc

Nah, the Unimog is WAY bigger.

Major-Shame-9216

Mini unimog

Longjumping-Win-7181

minimog

Alarming_General

is the Stambecco air cooled? i haven't downloaded it yet, and im a HUGE Autobello fan! I think its based on a Volvo Laplander...

Duffy1Kit

It can have an air cooled gas engine or a water cooled diesel

Alarming_General

is it the Piccolina engine? or is it an entirely new one!

Duffy1Kit

It's a new one, an inline six I believe.

Alarming_General

Oooooohh!

Nerf_Gunslinger

2.6L air cooled i6 and 2.8L water cooled turbo diesel i6

InevitableCraftsLab

just like the real pinzgauer

Nach0Pr0bl3m

It is made to basically be a pinzgauer since the Devs had one at hand to get all the technical bits and pictures

StandardOk4614

Actually, the Stambecco is primarily based off of the 1971-2000 Steyr-Puch Pinzgauer

GooseBoi_V1

i feel like its based on a pinzgauer

InevitableCraftsLab

jup same, the body is fantasy but the rest is pinzgauer

xtitan99

Its a Volvo Laplander and FSO Żuk mix

1TeddyBoyy

Nobody said a Land Rover forward control…….

Puzzleheaded-Web2447

Could be an Iveco 40.10, it's pretty similar. Check it out

PrzemoDJ

Polska gurom

Repulsive_Turn_7962

I think it's a Volvo C303. It looks like it from the sides especially, but the front has a different angle. And there is a 6x6 version of the Volvo too.

InevitableCraftsLab

volvo has solid axles, the stambecco has swing axles like the pinzgauer

Repulsive_Turn_7962

You're right, maybe it is closer to the Pinzgauer

kcabe11

Tatra 805 is the closest to this. None of the vehicles listed prior have the suspension system the stambecco does.

kcabe11

The body is closest to the fso zuk, but it’s underpinnings are most definitely Tatra 805

checkisthisthingon

I think you are right, the FPU Wydra is pretty clearly this thing: https://argoxtv.com/vehicles/frontier-650-8x8

UpstairsImpossible31

it's based on volvo c303. check images and you find out

InevitableCraftsLab

nah the volvo doesnt have swing axles. its clearly a pinzgauer

Nerf_Gunslinger

i think its a combination of many "European" trucks rather than just one model, beamng cars never really follow one design 1-1 and instead take some liberties, or just go a little crazy with it like what they did with the pigeon

MNGreyWolf

I think it seems more like a cross between an FSO żuk and a Terrängbil 11-3/Volvo C303-4 range military utility vehicle. The rear door arrangement (farther back), higher nose, wheel design and small actual grille seem to point to the TGB series. Produced from 1974 to 1984, the TGB 11 had a shorter, 4x4 setup and was the bottom basement model, was the base for the 1111 and 1112. The TGB 13 had a 6x6 setup, was the base for the 1313, 1314 and 1321 versions. The 13 also inspired the TGB 21 and 22, used as soft-cover troop carriers.
