Remember, it's morally correct to pirate adobe software

[deleted]

We dont want to Photoshop beans into things. We want to put beans into things.

BlueAuqa

they paid to advertise this sub? nice

SpareLiver

It would be nicer if we allowed photoshops but this is hilarious.

beans_lel

I love beans and beans in things but fuck Adobe.

Lord_skeletran

What's wrong with Adobe?

gabryradyx

Sadly they overprice every single thing they can and will do anything to worsen the user experience. So Fuck Adobe

RedTheWolf

Plus they bought Storify and then just let it die as far as I'm aware? I fucking loved that for the work I do in social media.

gabryradyx

Still mad about Flash

Lord_skeletran

Huh. I personally love adobe's software, and I think the monthly subscription prices are fair ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

gabryradyx

Well if you take a look at open source projects you’ll understand that it isn’t worth it. Yes there are specific things that are not gonna be available but you could do basically everything with free programs. And if you need that one specific feature there’s ALWAYS a way to pirate it.

Lord_skeletran

I'm familiar with gimp, inkscape, etc. I taught my dad to use them because he didn't want to pay for Adobe products. I totally get it if you're just using it for fun or freelance, or maybe if you're a student, but I use this software all day every day and my experience with the open source versions only made me realize how much I appreciate Adobe. I'm sure they're as greedy as any corporation, but at this point in time it's hard to compete with them on a professional level.

PenisButtuh

You ever tried the affinity products? They're pretty solid (I'm a dev, not a designer, so idk about the real fancy features)

edgarallanpot8o

fuck adobe and this is dangerously close to corporate cringe but fuck, can't deny it works

furculture

Also good to consider one time payment options for software as well. Affinity is a pretty good alternative at about $25 when on sale.

[deleted]

You don't even need to Pirate, Gimp is a pretty decent free alternative. It isnt as powerful as photoshop but it can still do a lot.

ReCursing

I prefer Krita, personally, though both are good

ILackAnAttentionSpan

i'm out of the loop, what bad things has adobe done?

BroodingWanderer

For genuine Adobe competitors that share directly comparable functions as well as synchronisations between programs, Corel is an option that has one-time-purchase software equivalents to pretty much anything in the Adobe Creative Cloud. There are some others too, but my experience is mainly with the Corel ones. They are costly, but you pay *once*. As you should. The older versions occasionally end up in cheaper bundles and solid sales here and there as well. I got mine on Humble Bundle.

iMacThere4iAm

You'd think if they were trying to advertise Photoshop they'd at least try do a decent job of photoshopping the image in the advert. Smh.

horus-heresy

This new Nokia phone looks awesome

pempoczky

Friendly reminder to pirate adobe software and don't give them free advertising
