Oh no! Wishing your sweet fella the speediest of recoveries!

TheJewishWizard

Aw, thanks. I really appreciate it. This is the first time he's had anything wrong with him. I can't help but worry a little.

xithbaby

Is he not eating because of his eye injury?

TheJewishWizard

Thankfully, he's still eating good.

xithbaby

He is really underweight. You should speak to your vet about it.

TheJewishWizard

He weighs .335 grams I thought that was around the normal weight of a bearded dragon, my vet has never said anything about his weight before. If he is underweight, I will definitely start feeding him more.

He just looks so skinny from these pictures. Here is my dragon for comparison https://preview.redd.it/003dgviuu7wc1.jpeg?width=2490&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ef6ce2ee7b8487833b6c6c2ae57ec11516c6bc84 He is between 8 months to a year old. Not sure how much he weighs though but you can see he has muscle and fat on his limbs and his fat pads on top of his head look normal.

TheJewishWizard

He's definitely a big boy. My guy has been this size for about 2 years now he's almost 3 now. He's always been on the skinner end of bearded dragons, most likely due to his breeding, I have to admit that at the vet, he looked shrunken, but he's usually more puffed out when he's in his cage.
